No one's pov:

You entered the big mansion after the stressful day at university. "I'm gonna rest." You mumbled as you went towards your room. But you felt something weird. "Where are others?" You asked yourself. "I'll just go and check up on Taeyang." You said again and went towards her room. You knocked on the door. You got no response. "Taeyang you there?" You asked softly.

Still, you didn't get any response. You decided to open the door. You saw no her sleeping peacefully. You went towards her and pecked her forehead. "Cute." You mumbled, you looked around the room. It was a little messy. "I'll just clean this and rest!" You mumbled and started cleaning Taeyang's room.

Time skip:

After cleaning her room you went downstairs to prepare food for her. Not wanting to make her wait after waking up. You were preparing food for her when you heard other staff workers whispering something. You got curious and decided to listen secretly. "Hmm I hope she is fine, she's very kind, unlike her son." One staff member said. "Yes, she's way too kind and pure, I hope she's good."

Another one replied. "What is going on." You mumbled. You went towards them. "Excuse me? Can you tell me what is going on?" You politely asked. "Ahh, you don't know?" You shook your head as "no" they looked at you with "are you serious look" "Umm I was at University I just came back, so I don't know. I'm sorry." You replied and apologized.

"Oh no no, we just thought that you're close to Mrs. Kim so you would know this." One of the said. "W-what do you m-mean? What happened to Mrs. Kim??" You asked as you got panicked. "Hey calm down dear, it's just that in the morning she fainted, but don't worry she was immediately taken to hospital. Maybe they will return soon."

They assured you. You sighed in relief thinking it's not that serious. "Thank you." You said and turned back continuing your work.

Time skip: evening

At hospital:

Taehyung was sitting on the couch from the morning. Mrs. Kim was sleeping. Taehyung heard a knock. "Come in," he said as saw the doctor coming inside. "Hello Mr. Kim, can you please wake her up? It's time for her to eat and take medicines." The doctor said. Taehyung nodded his head and walked towards his mom to wake her up. "Mom, wake up you need to eat."

Taehyung said as he softly shook her body. After five minutes Mrs. Kim was wide awake. She sat up on the bed and ate the meal given by the doctor. After finishing it she ate the medicine. "When can I take her home?" Taehyung asked one of the nurses. "Soon." She replied and left. "Taehyung." He heard his mother calling him.

He hummed and went towards her. "Yes, Mom?" He asked. "I've something to tell you about." She said in a weak voice. "Yes, Mom?" Taehyung replied listening. "I have a last wish, will you complete it for me?" Mrs. Kim asked smiling. "Of course mom, but what do you mean by last wish," Taehyung asked a little confused as he chuckled nervously.

"Taehyung just listen to me baby, don't interrupt okay?" Mrs. Kim said sternly. "Yes okay, I'll not," Taehyung replied.

"One year ago I was diagnosed with third-stage cancer, this isn't my first time coming to this hospital, but I decided to keep it secret from you so you can concentrate on your work and wouldn't get distracted by me. Now I have very little time to survive. Just two-three weeks." Mrs. Kim said smiling softly. While Taehyung was still taking in the information he got.

Taehyung's pov:

I was having a weird feeling. I don't know what was that. "Taehyung just listen to me baby, don't interrupt okay?" Mom said. This made me more confused. "Yes okay, I'll not," I replied. She told me everything about her cancer diagnosis. I was beyond shocked. I couldn't take it. Mom is gonna be with me only for two-three weeks? I asked myself. Tears formed in my eyes.

"No MOM! This isn't true! Why didn't you tell me this earlier." I cried still not believing the word she said. "Tae baby come here, first calm down hmm? You still have your life. Promise me you won't turn more ice cold?" She asked more like an order. I looked at her in the eyes. "No, you're not going anywhere." I cried as I hugged her tightly. "Shhh, my child." She hugged him back.

End of Taehyung's pov:

After a while, Taehyung calmed down. He pulled away from the hug. "Let's go home first," Taehyung said. "We will but first complete my last wish hun." Mrs. Kim said smiling. "Mom stop saying that," Taehyung whined. "Okay okay I won't, complete this wish will you?" Mrs. Kim asked again. "Of course, I will mom. What do you want me to do?" Taehyung said as he sat beside his mom.

"Will you marry Y/n?"
