Slight Grey's Anatomy spoilers if you're not caught up c:

"You guys better not keep me up all night," Scott complained, dropping his backpack on the wood floor. "Don't think I forgot about last time."

Noel and I look at each other before interrupting in a fit of laughters. Our last sleepover consisted of us watching movies all night followed by a rapping contest. Noel pretended to be Drake while I pretend to be Kanye. Noel didn't have it in her to be as blunt and rude as Kanye.

Not only did we bother Scott with our pitiful rapping we also played a little prank on him. We knew the only way to actually hurt him was by messing with his food, which we did. Scott had just made a big pot of chili, which was his favorite meal, and Noel and I decided to 'spice' things up a little. Let's just say chili wasn't his favorite food after that.

"We can't make any promises," I teased, grinning back at Scott. He groaned and entered the kitchen.

"Any requests for tonight?" He yelled from the other room. I looked at Noel who just shrugged.

"How about chili?"

Noel and I laughed again. I heard Scott groan making me laugh even harder.

"I hate you guys."

"I love you more!" Noel screamed back.

We both continued to giggle and I saw Noel smirk. "I see Julian missed you."

"Huh?" I asked, confused.

Her eyes wandered to my neck and I looked down. Little love bites were displayed on my neck and I blushed instantly. Only if she knew these weren't from Julian...

The next couple of hours Noel and I ate tacos and caught up with shows. We were in tears as we saw the season finale of Grey's Anatomy.

"How are they going to do that?" Noel sobbed, glaring at the TV. "You already killed McSteamy why'd you have to kill McDreamy too?!"

"The show isn't going to be the same anymore," I sniffled.

"Okayyy," interrupted Scott. "You guys saw your gazillion shows let me watch just one now."

"Here," Noel seared, tossing the remote at him. "We don't want to watch anything else after that."

Noel leaned into me and I wrapped my arms around her shoulders. I rested my head on top of hers and sniffled once more. I was really torn about Derrick dying.

"Oh my god," Noel gasped. She got up quickly, hitting her head on my chin, making me bite down on my tongue.

"What the hell Noel!" I hissed, sucking on my now throbbing tongue.

"Is that Tobias?" She questioned, ignoring my outburst. She leaned in closer to the TV and focused on it.

I felt my heart skip a couple of beats as I stared at the TV. Scott had stopped on the sports channel where they were showing a boxing game.

"Yeah. You never knew he's a professional boxer?" Scott replied, leaning back on the couch.

"Holy shit! I mean it definitely makes sense with all those scars and bruisings he always has. Wow, Tobias is..."

I zoned out and paid attention to the reporters who were talking on the TV.

"Robert, this match is intense! Tobias Sorensen is proving to be the guy everybody wants to be this season. He hasn't lost a single match yet!"

The other guy nods and looks over at the reporter who was just talking. "You're right Bryan. But Lorenzo is no stranger to the art of boxing. He managed to get a good couple jabs to Sorensen's torso. They're in the back checking him out right now."

Bryan clicked his tongue. "It'll be a shame to see someone so young and talented get hurt so early on in his career. This wasn't the first time Sorensen experienced great pain from an opponent. In fact he'll be lucky to walk out here with a broken rib."

Robert laughed. "You make that sound good."

"Well Robert if you remember correctly just last year he was in a deep coma for a while from the injuries he suffered. Now that doesn't mean he didn't win the fight..."

The picture moves away from the two reporters and displayed a huge boxing ring with a Latino male and Tobias. My heart swelled as I saw Tobias's face filled with blood. The other guy didn't look any better.

"This was moments before Sorensen finished his component. Here's a slow replay of what happened," Bryan said.

I winced as I saw Tobias's face scrunch up in pain as Lorenzo punched Tobias repeatedly in the same area. He quickly regain control and knocked out Lorenzo in one punch.

"Where is this at?" I ask Scott, getting up quickly.

Noel and Scott look at me in a confused manner. I must've zoned out for a long time because they both seemed to have been looking at me for a while.

"Well?" I asked, grabbing my leather jacket.

"It's on 5th ave," Scott hesitantly replied. "Why? Are you planning on going?"

"Yeah," I replied, looking around for my bag.

"Why? I didn't know you guys were so close," Noel replied, crossing her arms.

"We're not," I lied. "I've just got to know him a little with all the times I've seen him for your wedding planning."

I found my purse and duffle bag by the door and debated on whether or not I should take them both. With Tobias I never know what's going to happen. I could imagine the night going one way and it would go in a completely different direction.

"You'll come back this time, right?" Noel asked, shooting me a sad expression. "You won't ditch me again?"

I nodded and walked back over to her. "Of course."

I gave her a hug and said my goodbyes to her and Scott. My nerves were restless as I left their apartment and back into the city.

How bad were Tobias's injuries? Did I really want to know?

I hailed a cab and gratefully got in. Even though I was outside for about five minutes I could feel my body slowly loose it's body temperature. I gave the cabbie the name of place I was going to and leaned back. My thoughts were all over the place as I looked outside the window. Thankfully the studio was right here in Manhattan. Unfortunately the traffic was always terrible here and tonight was no different.

~*~

I walked inside and took a look around. The place was packed. Fighters were everywhere, either talking to their trainers or talking to groupies. There was a bar set to the side which had a small crowd around it.

"Place your bets here!" A guy yelled, waving around a load of cash.

People pushed passed me so they could get closer to the bar. I shuttered as a large boxer passed by me. Tobias was fairly muscular but these guys looked like bodybuilders. I squirmed away from them and looked around for a back room.

"Excuse me," I called out to a guy who was wearing a yellow security jacket. "Do you know where Tobias Sorensen is?"

He nudged his head to my left. "Area B."

I mumbled my thanks and began to walk there. I was anxious to see him and the jitters I was beginning to feel proved just that. I wiped my sweaty palms against my pants and took a deep breath. There was someone currently fighting on the ring. Making my way to the back room was proving to be harder than I thought. I tried to tear my eyes away from the fight going on but it was hard. It sucked you in; you needed to see what happens.

In a matter of seconds someone was on the floor, unwillingly. The other guy had him in a tight position and the opponent had no choice but to tap out. I heard some people cheering while others groaned. A lot of people were going to leave poor tonight.

"That's the second time tonight!" I heard someone angrily yell. "That's it. I'm out of here."

I followed the guy when I saw him traveling to the back rooms. My eyes wondered to the doors, looking for Area B. I finally spotted it in the corner and I held my breath as my fingers itched next to the door knob. I wondered if I should knock or just go right in. Going with my guts I opened the door, and stepped right in. The room was pitch black. I blinked a couple of times trying to see something, anything.

"This room is occupied," I heard Tobias's voice growl. "And close the fucking door on your way out."

I stood limply in the doorway, stunned by his harsh words. Tobias grunted and I saw his body sit up.

"Did you not hear what I said? Get out!" He yelled. I heard him wince and I finally came to my senses.

"It's me," I softly whispered.

I didn't know if he heard me but then I saw him moving his arms around, trying to find something. He finally found what he was looking for and the next thing I knew I was being blinded by the bright lights. I shut my eyes and waited until I thought it was okay to look again.

"Reign?" I heard Tobias ask confusedly.

I slowly opened my eyes fluttering them quickly, and grimaced when I finally saw him. To say he looked like death was an understatement. He was shirtless, exposing the fresh bruisings he had in his ribs. It looked painful. He had ice packets on top of him but it looked like no use. He need medical attention. His face overall was pale and there was the occasional cut on his lip and beside his eye. He had tape holding his skin together but it was evident he needed stitches.

"What are you doing here?" He mumbled, trying to sit up straighter but wincing once he did. Defeated, he laid back down and moved the ice packs over his bruisings, as if I couldn't see them already.

"I saw you on some sport channel," I said, still standing next to the door. "They said you would be lucky to walk out of here with a broken rib."

Tobias smiled sheepishly and it looked like it pained him. "I'm fine. No broken bones."

I rolled my eyes and shut the door behind me. I walked next to him and grabbed an abandoned towel soaked in water.

"Don't lie to me."

I began dabbing the towel on his forehead and I saw his eyes rake all over my body. I felt his arm grasp my free hand and I instantly felt a jolt shoot through my body.

"You shouldn't have come here." His face showed he was calm but his voice hinted anger.

"Why?" I asked, pausing my attempts in trying to control the fever he was having.

He shifted his eyes away from me. "I don't want you to see me like this."

"What happened to I'm fine?" I joked, trying to lighten up the mood. When I didn't see any flicker of amusement I sighed and began to dab his forehead again. "I don't care how you look Tobias. I just want to be here for you."

Tobias grabbed my wrist, making me stop instantly. "Why are you so interested in a damaged guy who enjoys getting his ass kicked?"

"Because I understand where you're coming from," I simply replied, my eyes softening. "Tobias you're not like most guys I've met. You continue to surprise me. Did you know the night I met you I was actually supposed to be on a blind date?"

I laughed a little to myself as I remembered my conversation with Noel. "I was on countless blind dates. Being with Julian doesn't even begin to compare to how I feel about being with you. It feels like it's you I've been waiting for. It feels like I was meant to wait, and that you are my reward. Truth is you're not as damaged you appear to be. You just need someone to help you through the rough parts. You've been alone for so long, it's time to let someone in. Let me in."

Tobias's lips curled into an irresistible smile, a real genuine smile. "You didn't have to say all that you know. A little kiss could tell me how you feel."

I giggled at his response and pushed my hair back. "I wanted to tell you. You need to know how much I value you."

Tobias's hazel eyes instantly lit up. Something ignited inside of him. "God, I'm so lucky to have found you."

My heart began thumping loudly in my chest. Lust was hanging thickly in the air and I had to remind myself of the injures he was suffering from or I would've pounced at him in seconds.

"Get over here," he demanded, his eyes staring at my lips strenuously.

I wasted no time. His hand, which already had a strong hold over my arm, swiftly pulled me closer to him. My heart was practically flying out of my chest as this point.

He got closer and closer until his lips finally his lips touched my own. He kissed me passionately, his lips soft and welcoming. I couldn't help but get lost in the taste of his mouth. I knew I wanted more, I've been longing for this for days. I kissed Tobias back, giving him my all. It was nothing compared to the compassion he was giving to me.

I lost my breath easily, resulting in me taking a couple of breaks but Tobias would quickly kiss me again. It was as if he needed to kiss me, like I was his medication. Every kiss rejuvenated my senses. Time seemed to fly by us when we were together. Soon I was next to him, my jacket sticking to his bare, sweaty chest. With my head tucked in the crook of his neck, I glanced at my phone. It was one in the morning but I could still hear commotion outside.

"I have to get back," I mumbled. "I promised Noel I would come back."

I felt Tobias's fingers rake through my hair and I leaned in closer to his hand, enjoying the feeling. His breathing was still irregular and shallow and I wondered if he was still in pain.

"I understand," he replied, his voice sounding even raspier. "Want me to take you home?"

I giggled a little and sat up. "Shouldn't I be taking you home?"

"I'm the one with the car," he snorted, his face displaying a look of content. I smiled a little to myself. It was nice to know that he looked like that because of me.

"Whatever," I replied, rolling my eyes. "How about I drive you home and hail a cab from there? Like you said before you don't live far away from her."

He sat up, his face scrunching in pain. "Looks like your mind is made up no matter what I say."

I ran a hand through my neck and I realized I still had a hickey. I playfully smacked Tobias earning a groan from him.

"What the hell was that for?" He interrogated, grunting from the pain.

"That's for leaving little hickeys on my neck!" I exclaimed. "What are you, sixteen?"

Tobias smiled smugly. "It's not my fault your neck is irresistible."

I blushed from his dirty words. He grabbed the bottle of aspirin set out on the side and poured two tablets onto his hand. He quickly swallowed them without any water or beverage to wash it down.

"Let's go," I cooed. I got off of him and extended my hand.

His hand clasped into mines and I had to help steady him as he got up. He grunted and muttered a list of profanities as he pulled his shirt over his head.

"You need to take it easy," I warned him as we walked outside. A couple of people recognized Tobias even though he had his Yankees cap on his head. "You could really end up hurt."

"I've been doing this for a long time," he simply replied, rubbing little circles on my thumb. "You don't need to worry about me."

I sighed and held my breath as stepped into the blistering cold night. "I can't help but to worry. I don't know how you're so nonchalant about this all."

I felt his arm wrap around my shoulders. My head rested against his chest and I felt his lips leave a soft kiss on my forehead.

"I'm okay Reign. I'll be okay."

I knew his words were supposed to comfort me but instead they only made me worry. Tobias's behavior proved to me that he saw no flaws in his career. I don't know what I would do if he seriously got injured. I may never recover from that and I pray I never have to experience it.
