The extra: Boys Night Out was posted last night and I'm sooo proud of it. If you aren't sure who any of the extra characters are because you haven't started the other books, reading the extra will help explain how the boys met two years before.

Alex's POV

I catch the football that's thrown to me, jumping up to bring it to my chest in one sexy ass catch. I throw it to James whose standing a couple feet to my right as he, Ares and I joke in the backyard.

"It makes sense that you two are good at catch, since you're dogs and all." Ares jabs and I can't help but laugh at the joke.

"You know, for such a chill person you sure are an ass." James says with a smile throwing the ball to him. "I remember two years back when all you did was sit there and let Graves be a dick."

"He wasn't a dick he was funny!" I defend him, knowing James was only jealous.

"You only say that because he tried to fuck you!" James screams, throwing his hands up in the air as I catch the ball and double over laughing.

"Oh you were just jealous." Ares says, snorting at the expression on James' face. We collectively decided to take a break and come closer to each other to sit on the grass in the shade.

"No one was jealous, besides it was you Enchanted that got us thrown in jail." He counters and I 'ooohh' at the comment knowing it to be true. I hear the back door open and turn around only to see Graves coming out with a wide smile on his face.

"Boy, boys, calm down you're all pretty." He tells us, laughing as our group finds random nature objects to throw at the asshole.

      "Oh fuck off." James groans throwing himself on to the ground sending a bunch of dust and pollen to the air, luckily Cody isn't out here or he would have a sneezing fit.

     "Oh calm down, Terrance, I'm here for Chloe not you." Graves says, plopping down between Ares and James, sending me a smile.

     "How many times do I have to tell you, my name is James?!" He growls from his position on the ground but Graves is not phased.

    "How many times do I have to tell you, that's what I said?" He shoots back before turning towards me, throwing his hands up in happiness. "Dude, you guys are pregnant congrats!" He says and I grin, the excitement of that fact growing by the day.

     "I know, I can't wait to find out the gender today. Everything is going to be perfect for them." I tell them and though this group of guys is first to give shit about being sappy, I know that this is something they won't ever make fun of, none of us growing up in a happy home.

     Ares speaks up first, a half smile on his face, the closest anyone, other than Thomas, will get to a full display of genuine happiness. "I don't know about  perfect, but I do know that whoever that kid turns out to be, they're going to have the type of family that we never did. Big, loving and very overprotective." He shares and Graves adds on thoughtfully.

      "I pray for your child if it's a girl, she's not getting Mated until she's thirty I don't care how soon she finds her Mate." He says firmly and I laugh shaking my head at his antics.

    James sits up and shakes his head in disagreement. " Oh no, if it's a boy, they're done for, between the three of us there won't be an ounce of that toxic bullshit that humans are so fond of." He grunts and the rest of us nod our agreements. We stay out in the yard for another twenty minutes before Cody and Chloe appear on the back porch.

     "Boys, it's time to come in!" Chloe calls and Cody stands behind him as if terrified that any sudden movement will make Chloe break. The four of us groan as we get up, Ares shaking his head.

     "If I didn't know any better, I would say they were Mated and we were their annoying sons." He breaths under his breath but apparently not quiet enough as Cody turns towards him.

     "Well you have the annoying part right." He sasses, his hip popping out and his hand coming up like two years ago when he bailed the four of us out of jail. James looks at me and chuckles as if he knows exactly what I'm thinking.

     My fond mood only continues to increase as we're ushered through the door and into the living room where the decorations and the rest of our group are talking excitedly around the room. James, Ares and Graves go and settle on the couches that create a semi circle towards the entrance where there are two chairs set up side by side.

    Beside the chair is a table stacked high with a lot more gifts than Chloe and I had asked or planned for. Typical cocky bastards never wanting to listen. Chloe and I are steered towards the two chairs and sit down beside each other. I glance over at my princess and smile softly at how happy he looks. His skin is glowing and his smile is so bright and big I'm blinded for a second before I'm reaching down to grab his hand and kiss the back of it, brining his attention towards me.

     "I love you, so much." I tell him, the words getting harder and harder to choke down every time I see him and he melts completely in my hands sending me a smile that's just for my eyes as he answers.

     "I love you too." And I'll never tire of hearing the words.

     "Okay, okay, enough with the sappy shit." I hear and of course it's Graves who interrupts though he's not big and bad for long as Cora pulls in his sleeve and he looks down to see her pouting with crossed arms. "I'm sorry, babygirl. No cussing you're right." He amends leaning down to give her a kiss on the head.

       "Do you guys hear that sound?" James asks, looking around and the rest of us do, too, the opportunity to turn the tables to good to pass up.

     "Whipped!" We yell, making the noise in the air as we laugh and poke fun at Graves like every single one of us wouldn't bow down and grovel at our lovers feet if they so much as asked.

     "Anyway!" Graves says voice cutting through our snickers and laughs at his expense. "It's time to open presents so these two lovely parents aren't late to their appointment." He announces and our friends settle down with their Mates as they begin to take turns with presenting their gifts to us one by one.

     The first one up is Cody, his cheeks flushing at all the eyes on him, which I find very ironic and Chloe must think so too because he has to stifle a giggle behind his hand. Cody grabs what looks like a big lunch bag before he carries it over, almost falling when it drops off the table, but he catches it just in time

    His cheeks are cherry red as he approaches the two of us, but we give him an encouraging smile that he returns softly. He puts the bag on the ground and unzips it to show us what's inside.

   "Since I work with babies and new families, I've come to learn what all someone needs when they go out with their kid. This is a prepackaged diaper bag that I made for you, specifically for werewolves babies. I'm going to have another one made once I do more research on Incubi, but I made this one first." He explains with a wide grin on his face, his voice gaining confidence as he talks about the one thing that makes him happy: babies.

     "Thank you, Cody." Chloe says as the bean sets the bag down at our feet and he smiles, a blush coming on to his cheeks and he hugs the both of us before scurrying back to his Mate where he gets a proud smile and a kiss.

     "Me, next!" Cora says, setting down her stuffed cow as she stands up and walks over told us excitedly, her lover watching her carefully to make sure she doesn't hurt herself.

     She goes behind the table and brings out two stuffed animals, one a pale yellow and the other a forrest green. She brings them over to us with a wide smile and a little skip in her step as she presents one to us both.

     "I couldn't decide on a color, so I got both! Stuffies are very important to little people." she tells us seriously with wide eyes and we nod our understanding with soft smiles.

    "Thank you for sharing stuffies with us, Cora, I know it was hard." I tell her, praising her for her sacrifice and she nods grimly before she perks back up.

     "It's okay, Gray says he's gonna buy me more!" She says happily and Chloe laughs as she skips back to our friend who tells her what a good girl she is.

    And it goes on like that, everyone coming up to give us gifts and explaining them as we all laugh and joke around until Cody claps bringing our attention towards him once the table is clear.

      "Okay, guys, it's two thirty and you're appointment is at three. We'll clean up the mess and we'll be here when you get back with the news!" He says, going into Luna mode as he begins assigning people to food and cleaning as he ushers Chloe and I out of our seats.

     I go into the kitchen and grab my keys off the fridge in one hand and Chloe's nervous hand in the other before Cody is leaning in to give both of us a hug.

      "Don't be nervous guys, it's just a gender reveal and a check up. Everything will go fine." He says as he pulls back with a smile on his face and tears in his eyes. We exit the kitchen and head out the door as our friends, and now our family come out to wave us away as we start the car and head to the appointment. Neither of us are speaking but our hands together are squeezing tight, the ride much too short for our nerves.

      We pray in the car together before getting out, the chapter in our life, flipping over to another.
