Chloe's POV

It's been three months since I found out I was pregnant, and these next few days are going to be a flurry of excitement. These past few weeks have been difficult to say the least as my body has begun to grow. My stomach is no longer the slim sexy curve it's always been, but now a decent sized round bump that's appeared on my lower tummy.

I stretch in the empty bed, groaning in appreciation as my bones crack, finally deciding to follow Alex downstairs. As much as I would love to lounge around the bed and sleep all day, I always do that, and it's a special occasion. Today I find out the gender of my baby. And another important thing is happening today. Thomas has finally returned home a couple weeks ago after his Bond, Ares saved him and this will be my first time seeing him in person since.

The two were split up from each other for almost two months as the rest of us searched for him to no end. At first none of us knew he was missing, since his disappearance happened after a fight, but after a while, it quickly turned into a nightmare. Thankfully he's back home with his lover and after some time to heal, I'll finally be able to see him again after so long.

I get off the bed, going to my closet to grab some high waisted jeans and a cropped hoodie in my arms before turning to head into the en-suite bathroom. Closing the door behind me, I turn towards the mirror as I set my clothes down in the counter and looking at myself in the mirror I can't help but smile, my face so different from five months ago when I was convinced that love didn't exist.

My dirty blonde hair has grown long enough to curl slightly framing my cheekbones perfectly. My once  sharp face is now softer, lips a bit fuller than before and I love every inch of it. I slowly strip out of my shorts and t-shirt, turning my body to the side to admire the baby bump that pokes lovingly out of my body, my hands come up to hold my swollen belly softly.

I haven't met this baby yet, but something is telling me that this sweet child of mine is going to be perfect. As much as I talked about wanting a boy at first, the only thing I'm hoping for is that my sweet little angel comes out healthy.

The newest addition to my body that I haven't quite gotten used to, is the fact that my chest has been softening. I wouldn't say I have breasts exactly but my nipples and pecs as definitely a lot softer and more sensitive than they used to be and Alex is taking every advantage that he can.

Smiling once more at my body, I turn towards the shower and hop in, washing my quietly aching body softly. I hum a lullaby to myself and my baby, music always being the thing that soothes me most.

After my shower I brush my teeth and my hair before throwing on my clothes, and once I'm done and everything is put away, I exit the bathroom and leave the room, heading downstairs as my excitement rises. I hear music coming from the living room and I enter, a wide smile being brought to my face at the decorations in the room all for the baby.

The theme is a gender neutral pale yellow, a banner and balloons decorating the wall and ceiling. The words on the sign say "Coming Soon Near You: Our Baby!" And I chuckle as tears spring to my eyes.

I don't jump as arms slide around my waist only to settle on my bump, already knowing that it's Alex, his smell and presence so ingrained into my soul, I will never be able to forget it. "Good morning, princess." He tells me softly, giving me a small but perfect kiss on my shoulder and I smile leaning my head back to look into his chocolate ones.

"Good morning. This looks perfect." I tell him, sighing in happiness before I turn in his hold to wrap my arms around his neck.

"I'm glad. I woke up early just for this. You're one lucky cat." He tells me cheekily and I laugh, sticking my tongue out at him. He lets go of my body, but grabs my hand as he leads me from the living room and into the kitchen. I climb on to the stool carefully, as he walks towards the stove and continues to make breakfast.

I watch him for a couple minutes, thinking of the plan I've been making these past few weeks, my lips twitching at the barely contained excitement as I begin to accidentally day dream.

"What's got you smiling so hard?" Alex asks me, and I zone back into the real world, catching him smiling at me over his shoulder.

"Oh, you know, just thinking about my other boyfriend." I tell him smoothly, not wanting him to know just yet what I'm trying to plan for us.

"Oh yes, Thomas is coming back today. I'm tired of sharing you." Alex grumbles and I scoff at him.

"I have one extra boyfriend. You have four!" I exclaim, trying and failing to keep the smile from my voice, but my mood is too high and happy to succeed.

"Four?! That not even a real number." Alex answers and I laugh in response. "You can't even name them all." He challenges me and I shake my head in amusement as I do just that.

"Oh yes I can. You have Ares, James, Graves and Jessie. Oh I almost forgot! I can't tell if Sloan loves you or wants to kill you, so I'm going to put him as a half. That's four and a half boyfriends!" I tease him and he grumbles but doesn't answer because he knows I'm right.

"I still don't know what you boys were up to last Saturday." He says a few moments later and I grin, knowing I'll never tell him.

"You know the rules of Boys Night Out, Alex. We can't tell the others what goes on on Saturdays. If the switches can follow the rule, it should be easy for you." I tell him in a mock condescending tone and he huffs but before he can respond, there's a knock at the door. "Yay, my boyfriend!" I shout before sliding off the chair and making my way towards our front door.

My hands are way too excited to see my friends, so of course it takes me five years to unlock the door, but as soon as I do, I'm swinging it open to reveal Cody and James. "Hey guys!" I greet, a wide smile on my face, but the little bean doesn't even attempt to answer, instead he squeals and bends down and begins talking to and stroking my belly in excitement.

"Hi, baby. You're growing so big! Yeah, you're going to be so healthy, aren't you?" I look at James, raising my brow in question at his crazy Mate cooing at my stomach but all he does is shrug and move around him, leaning over to give me a hug and a kiss on the head before he goes to find his boyfriend. I notice some bags and boxes in his hands but I quickly turn my attention back towards the bean that's talking to air.

"Cody stop talking to my belly, you're making this weird!" I scold him as if Alex and I don't sit and have hour long conversations with our baby, trying to teach them from the womb, how to be loving.

"Oh, hush, Chloe you're just jealous." Cody pouts but he listens and straightens up to give me a warm hug, squeezing me tightly as always.

"I would never be jealous of you're hot breath." I tell him before I fake gag and he giggles before he smacks my chest lightly. I usher him inside and I'm about to close the door before I hear the sound of a car coming down the drive way. I turn my head and squeal loudly in eagerness, bouncing on my toes as I see just whose car it is pulling into the driveway.

"Chloe!" My friend exclaims as he slaps my body once again but I'm barely paying any attention to him at the moment. "You didn't tell me our boyfriend was coming!" He says, just as hyped as I am about Thomas climbing out of the parked car with a happy smile stretched along his face.

"That's because he was mine first." I tell him in response, waiting impatiently for the reunited couple to arrive at the door, not wanting to trigger his PTSD by running towards him.

By the time the two snails arrive on the porch, Cody and I are beside ourselves in glee. Only cheating a bit, I lightly shove Cody out of the way before I step forward to wrap my arms securely around the first friend I ever truly had.

"Hey, Thomas. Welcome home." I greet him, holding him tight as tears spring to my eyes, so so happy that he doesn't have to be afraid anymore.

"Hey, trouble.  It's good to be back." He tells me pulling back to give me a smile, so much better than the one I had seen when he first came home weeks ago. He turns to the side and opens his arms for Cody as I step back.

As the two friends greet each other, I turn to a silent Ares, his eyes tracking Thomas' every move, the fear of him being taken away so alive in his eyes that it makes my chest tighten. I come closer to him and he turns towards me, his usual bleak expression, softening into a small smile.

"Hey, Chloe." He addresses, one of his arms coming up to wrap me in a hug that I return.

"Hey, old man. How's your back holding up?" I ask him referring to this past Saturday where Thomas forced his Bond to rejoin Boys Night Out (BNO) with us.

He chuckles and shakes his head before stretching a bit to the side. "Still a little sore, much to Thomas' annoyance." He tells me and we share a laugh before the four of us walk through the door. Ares closes it behind us, and as we walk into the kitchen to where the rest of the group is, and we wait on the last couple of our friend group, I can't help but think about how blessed I am to have these people here to celebrate a new life.

As I look around the kitchen as everyone says their hellos and joins in the familiar banter, I can't help but think:

My child will never have to worry about being loved.

Here's a fluffy chapter. This get together is placed after Thomas' book. It's also like a pre-game to the gender reveal appointment they have later. These next few chapters are going to make you cry in cuteness.
