Roman wanted me to spend the night again after a few more orgasms, but I really wanted to go home to my own bed and also see Davis, so I declined. He understood and told me to let him know when I got home. As I drove away from his house, I thought about Colton and how he was so close, I could probably make a stop at his place. The pictures of me and Roman appeared in my head and I decided not to visit him. Honestly, I was a little worried that he would be upset from seeing me, and I didn't care to hear his disappointment. Granted, I wouldn't know how he would feel about seeing me in person again until I actually approach him if he doesn't approach me, but I don't know. Sometimes I liked to just avoid conflict. The drive out of the posh neighborhood was smooth, but as soon as I turned the corner out of the neighborhood, I gasped.

"She's over there! Violett! Did you just come from Roman's house or Colton? Are you coming back here tonight?" Tons of paparazzi yelled at me from the sidewalk, cameras flashing. I hit the gas, careful not to hit any of them, and booked it out of there. They ran after my car, but of course, they couldn't catch up. My heart was beating quickly, and I kept checking my mirrors to make sure I wasn't being followed. When I felt like the coast was clear, I exhaled and tried to calm my heart down. What the hell? How did they even know I was there? I knew being exposed would warrant a lot of media attention, but not like this. I wasn't expecting this. Dialing Roman's number, I waited for him to pick up.

"Are you home?" he asked as soon as he answered the phone.

"Not yet. A bunch of paps ambushed me as I was trying to leave. I think I lost them though." I glanced in all my mirrors to make sure I was still in the clear.

"What? Are you okay? Where are you now?" Roman sounded concerned for me and I warmed at the thought that he worried about my safety.

"I'm okay, no one followed me and I'm still on the way back to my house. I should be there in a few minutes."

"No, you should come back to my place. I have gates and everything to keep you protected and out of their hair."

I shook my head even though he couldn't see me. "I want to go home Roman, I'm sure no one followed me. Thank you for your concern though. I'll let you know when I'm home as planned." I reassured him and he sighed.

            "Fine. Stay safe, love."

"I will." I hung up the phone, tossing it in the other seat. The rest of the ride home went without any hiccups and when I parked in my space in front of my apartment building, I sighed in relief. Home sweet home. As I walked up the stairs, I realized I missed being home more than I thought and I was only gone for less than two days. So much has happened in a small amount of time, making it seem like so much time passed. When I opened my door, I expected Davis to greet me, but only a lavender smell greeted me and quiet. I went inside and locked the door and went straight to my room, tossing my bags on the ground. I would come back for them later. I went to Davis' room to see if he was home, but his room was empty. He was probably out, which was normal. I didn't mind spending time alone and that was exactly what I did. I hadn't read much of the news surrounding me and Roman, so I decided to sit down and see what people were talking about after I got settled. I almost regretted opening up my laptop. The first headline I saw was "Colton's girlfriend is a homewrecker?". I gritted my teeth and I scrolled through more headlines and the more I read, the thicker skin I got. They said the most disgusting things about me, and this was just the media. I didn't want to see what regular people were saying about me. I knew that would be even worse and I wasn't sure if I was prepared for that right now.

"I wonder when this will all be yesterday's news." I mused out loud as I closed my laptop. That was enough browsing for me. For the rest of the day, I just sat in front of the television watching action films until it was time to go to bed. Davis wasn't back home yet, and I sent him a quick text to be safe before heading to bed. He texted back saying same and I was able to relax and sleep comfortably knowing he was all good.

The next day, I woke up earlier than my alarm by thirty minutes and that annoyed me because I couldn't go back to sleep. I wasn't tired. So, I decided to just go to work early to beat the stares I would get and to get some extra work done. I dressed quickly and made some coffee before leaving. The drive to work was smooth and when I got there, I was calm and confident enough to walk into the building without worrying about any stares from early birds. No paparazzi were waiting for me in front of my place or work, which was a huge relief because I was a little worried about them. I didn't need them finding out where I lived and stalking me.

I took my time walking to my office and noticed there weren't many people here, which I was grateful for. When I got to my office, I set my things down and as I sorted through the files on my desk, I remembered I was supposed to grab a file from Lisa's office. I looked for it the day before, but someone informed me that she already grabbed it. I made my way to her office and was about to knock in case she was here early, but noticed her door was cracked already. I was about to open the door, but stopped abruptly when I saw what was happening in her office. My mouth dropped and I almost made a noise, but I covered my mouth and hurried back to my office, making sure to close it softly. I leaned against my door, my heart beating quickly and I went over what I just saw in my head. Lisa was on top of her desk with my brother between her legs, making out with her. Mason was kissing Lisa. Mason. My brother. What. The. Hell. That was disgusting. When did this happen? How long was it going on? So many thoughts were going through my head quicker than I could keep up with.

What was I going to do with this information? Tell Killian? If the media ever got wind of this, they would definitely make the connection between us and call us both homewrecking siblings. I could see the headlines already. I went to my purse, grabbing my phone, and dialed Roman's number.

"You're up early." He commented and I tried to chuckle normally.

"I know, I couldn't fall back asleep after waking up. But I have to tell you something I just saw and wish I hadn't." I heard shuffling on his end.

            "What did you see?"

I took a breath before answering. "I just saw my brother kissing Lisa in her office. Like he was in between her legs, and she was on her desk. More is probably happening now that I don't even want to think about, but I had to tell you." I shook my head to make what I witnessed disappear. There was silence on the other end of the line before Roman spoke.

"Mason? Really?" he asked, sighing heavily. He asked in a way that was more exasperated rather than unbelieving.

"Yeah. Have you ever suspected her of messing around with him before?"

"Not at all. I knew she was seeing someone, but not him. That, is news to me. She has the audacity to be upset about me being with you when she's frolicking with your brother." He chuckled and I joined in, noting the irony.

"What are you going to do about it? I mean, do you want to do anything about it? It could help your case with leaving her for good." I didn't want to push him on the subject, but I did want him to think about that if he wasn't already. She shouldn't have this kind of control over him when she was messing with my brother. He sighed and it was silent for a little bit.

"Are you still at work?" he asked me.

            "I am. Are you here?"

"Yeah, meet me in my office so we can have this conversation off the phone." He hung up and I immediately left my office and walked to his. When I entered, I saw him at his desk, leaning back in his chair, looking like he was deep in thought.

"Thinking about what I just told you?" I asked as I closed his door. He nodded and made eye contact with me.

"It's a tricky situation, to be honest."

I raised a brow. It seemed pretty cut and dry to me. "In what way?"

He sat up and leaned his arms on his desk. "Lisa could deny the affair because there's no proof. It would put me in a position that makes it seem like I'm wanting her to be the blame for what we did as well."

I walked toward his desk and sat down, folding my hands together. "Okay, and? It doesn't negate the fact that I saw them with my own eyes, it's the truth." It seemed like he was starting to make excuses, and I didn't like that.

"Look, just think about it from someone else's point of view. You've been caught with Lisa's "boyfriend" and now you're blaming her for cheating as well. How would that make you look?" he tried to get me to understand, but I didn't care to understand. I stood up, shaking my head. Someone was going to believe me.

"If it's proof that you want, then I'll get you some proof." I walked away from his desk, and he called out after me, but I ignored him. Leaving his office, I went straight to Lisa's office to see that it was still open just a little bit. I didn't take the time to peer through the crack to see if they were still together. I pulled out my phone and pressed record before slowly placing it in the space. I had to look away because I didn't even want to think about what was happening on Lisa's desk, but the grunts alone were enough to know. Once I felt like I recorded enough, I hurried away from her office and went back to Roman's, who was pacing in front of his desk. When I opened the door, he looked up quickly and let out a sigh of relief.

"Violett," he began speaking but I stopped his words by shoving my phone in his hand. I clicked on the video, and it began playing out loud. Roman's jaw clenched as he watched a little bit of it before handing it back to me. "That's definitely enough proof." I couldn't tell how he was feeling based on just his tone. He went back to his desk, sitting down in his chair and I could see that his thoughts were moving at a million miles a second. I went back to the chair in front of his desk and sat down, texting him the video before deleting it, so that he could have it as well. Evidence.

"What are we going to do now? We have the evidence, which means someone will believe us." I was getting excited about the thought of exposing her. She should consider this payback for the shitty way she treated me when I worked under her. Roman sighed and when he looked at me, I knew I wouldn't like what was about to come out of his mouth.

"I don't know, this is going to look like blackmail. And what about your brother? If we do anything with this video, he's going to be in the crossfire as well." Roman actually looked concerned, but I wasn't sure if it was for me or not, and that annoyed me a bit.

"My brother is a grown ass man. He knew what he was doing when he got into bed with Lisa. Just like I knew what I was doing with you. He can handle himself."

He sighed. "But," I didn't let him finish.

"Why does it seem like you're trying to protect her?" I asked bluntly, making him raise his brows. He tapped his fingers on his desk, looking to the side instead of at me. Was he thinking of staying with Lisa and working this out with her? Whatever that was? If he was, I needed answers now, but I wanted to see what his response was to my question first before asking him anything else.

"I'm not trying to protect her. I'm trying to protect you. If this video gets leaked, you and your brother will be in the spotlight and then the media would find some way to tie and blame you for the leak and my father will definitely come after you for going after Lisa."

I gritted my teeth, not caring for his answer. "You don't need to protect me. Your father wouldn't even know it's me and I don't care about the media. Let them say what they want about me, I can't stop them. But I can stop Lisa from having this control over you and your love life. You don't have to be tied to her anymore, Roman." I tried to reason with him, but he was already shaking his head. He started speaking again and I already heard the tone in his voice. He was going to shut me down again. Not hearing what was coming out of his mouth, I shot up from the chair, seething at the fact that he wasn't even trying to hear my side out and was just siding with Lisa.

"Forget it then. Obviously, you're still willing to protect Lisa after everything, so go on and protect her. Go and marry her for all I care. Hope you have a happy marriage." I spit out bitterly before walking toward his office door. I heard his chair move against the ground.

"Violett, come on! Really? You know it's not like that. Don't walk out of here upset at me like this. Talk to me, please." His tone almost made me stop walking, but I shook my head and left the office, slamming the door behind me. If he really wanted to talk it out with me, then he wouldn't have doubted every word I said. I tried my best to calm myself down before leaving the private hallway, but it was hard.

"Violett." Someone called out to me, and I glanced over my shoulder, pausing in front of my office door. Lisa was standing outside of her office, glaring at me.
