Bailey's POV:

My parents came home late meaning I can take the bus, it isn't always that I take it but I prefer it over awkward silence with my parents and I guess doing something bad in school gets you an entire seat alone on the bus, no sharing with 1 or 2 people, I got an entire row to myself, which I'm very okay with. I was always willing to share my row with someone but I secretly wish that they'll find somewhere else to fit. We got to school and I got off not seeing Carmen around, she takes the bus too but we live 3 neighborhoods apart so she takes a different bus. and she still gets here first.

"Bailey!" I look around trying to find the voice and I see Carmen standing in a small group of people, I make my way over to her seeing her hands carry brown bags, "What's that?" I ask taking one from her, "Breakfast, some kid on my bus had Gas station food so I got it from him." She takes her out as we walk inside to our spot, "You got them?" I questioned her method in getting our breakfast, it could be poisoned or worse. "A little flirting here, a little flirting there, a little manipulation everywhere so now we got food." She shrugs and I look over my muffin trying to see if there's anything wrong with it. It looks perfect which is weird because the Gas station near the school is horrible at putting food things together.

"Bitch stop looking at it like it's going to kill you just eat it," Carmen says with a mouthful and I take a bite, it's good. "I can't believe you manipulated someone for Gas station food it could've been for something else but nope." I continue eating while looking for Skylar, I'm going to try again. "I was hungry okay these vampires teeth ain't gonna bite no one." I see her pull her upper lip releveling her vampire's tooth, "Is that a tooth gem?" I ask pointing at the small shiny circle, "Yup, found some in my drawer last night and I decided to put one on." She pulls her other lip showing the other gem.

"It's cute, I like it I don't have vampire teeth." I comment, "Thank you, and yeah it's okay though you don't need to have it to be hot, it's just an added bonus." She laughs flipping her black hair over her shoulder and we both finish our sandwiches. I throw my wrappers in the trash and I spot a familiar beanie, I look a little closer seeing Skylar with the same two guys that were with her. "Hi." I wave to the three getting closer and their laughs die down pretty quickly, I'm that bad of a mood kill? "Sup good kid." The guy with dreads nods his head and I smile, "Nothing much what's up with you?" I try to match their vibes, "Nothin' at all, you need somethin'?" He asks and I nod, "I was hoping to talk to Skylar." I pick at the tips of my fingers.

Her eyes widen and we both make eye contact, the two guys on both sides of her were just as surprised and she starts messing with a ring on her middle finger. "What the fuck do you need Blondie?" She groans rolling her hers, there's that nickname again, it isn't original. "I told you I needed a favor." I stopped messing my mu fingers, "And I told you I don't do shitty favors for people." She leaned further back into the wall slowly slipping down the lunch bench, "It isn't a shitty favor and I think it's right up your alley." I stepped closer to her and I smelled a hint of cigarette smoke.

"Yeah right, whatever you say." She shakes her head smirking, "I'm serious, you think it's so stupid yet you don't even know what it is." I don't get what's so funny. "Okay then tell me what it is that you want me to do?" She leans back up holding herself up on her knees, "I prefer not to say it out loud because it's private." I look over at the two guys and they look at her, "I don't think that it's important then." She shrugs, "I'm not asking a favor from them, I'm asking one from you and it's none of their business to know what I need with you." I defend myself, maybe I should be a lawyer. "You're annoying you know that?" She asks me obviously annoyed. "Yes." I say a little confidently, I mean I annoy my parents enough even if I just breathe the wrong way.

"If I say 'yes' to whatever it is then would you leave me the fuck alone?" That sounds like a trick, if I say yes then that means I can't bother her again. "If I say yes then will you meet me at lunch and then I'll leave you alone." I know I'm giving her a hard time just by the way her facial expression keeps changing from annoyed to maybe wanting to punch something or I've been watching too much Criminal Minds, curse you Aj Cook and me and my 'mommy, sorry' ass. "Yes, till lunch." She rolls her eyes again and I smile, "See you at lunch then." I repeat one more time knowing it'll stick in her head and I walk away.

Skylar's POV:

I watch blondie walk away and I hear the boys beside me speak, "You're not actually going to help her are you?" Parker asks fixing his backpack straps, "Skylar? Helping someone? That's funny, you should be a comedian." Preston fixes his dreads. Stupid twins. "Both of y'all shut up you're giving me a headache." I complain, getting off the lunch bench. "Come on man we're playin' but seriously though are you going to help her?" Preston steps in front of me, I swear to God I'm going to beat his face. "What the fuck does it matter you two did she asks you for the favor? No, so don't worry about it." I push myself past them out to the double doors that lead to the courtyard.

"Class starts in a minute." A security guard steps in front of me, what is it with people getting in my way today, it's blondie's fault. "I forgot my notebook in my car, I'll get it real quick and I'll come right back." I lie, I didn't forget a notebook and I don't have a car I have a motorcycle which is more badass unless it's my brother's car or Dean's car but he's still jail that fucker. The old dude buys my lie and I give a fake smile my way out of the building, he actually bought it that's funny especially since he's the same guy that tried to catch me down the hall, slow ass.

What does that girl want that she needs me for? Specifically, need me for like I have better things to do, well that's a lie I don't have better things to do, I have illegal things to do, I went over to my bike smiling at its beauty, a 1980 Harley Davidson FXB Sturgis. One sexy motherfucker and appreciating the way bikes look back then instead of those bulky sportbikes make it so much better, I unlocked one of the bags that sat beside the back wheel and I pulled out a black spray can. Let's ruin the track field since one of its runners thought it would be funny to make my bike seat sticky with the school's syrup packets so know I'm gonna paint tiny dicks all over the track because I can.

I bolted up the bleachers to the small booth where they control the scoreboard as I heard the bell ring, so many dicks everywhere with arrows pointing at the kid's name, this should get a good laugh out of everyone. I waited for them and they eventually came earning me a couple of gasps and laughs and of course panic, the kid frantically started throwing random things at my amazing artwork, I guess I was accurate. I kept laughing for a good 10 minutes feeling my stomach tighten with every breath until the door swung open. "You!" The kid pointed like something was supposed to happen.

"Fuck you, that was for my bike." I pointed right back at him shoving past him back down the bleachers sliding down the railings while he ran down each individual step. I passed the team scrubbing the paint off, little did they know soap and water ain't gonna do shit to spray paint, beginners. "I'll join this season coach!" I yell at the track coach and he points at me, "YOU BETTER!" He raises his voice, I wasn't going to join, his hopes are up and so when I disappoint him he won't be blaming me, he'll be blaming himself for really thinking that I'll join. I'm fast I get it but I ain't joining track. You hurt someone by making them think they hurt themself.

I ran through the locker room halls still with the kid behind me, asshat. I entered the cafeteria looking around for a seat to blend in, I was supposed to meet Blondie. I could use her, I ran towards a booth with a blonde and I laid on the bench with my foot sticking out feeling someone gets caught, after hearing a thud and a couple of groans I sat up pulling my hoodie over my head then looking through my backpack, "Who did that?! Who tripped me?" The kid asked around but no one gave him an answer.

Eventually, he walked away and I pulled my hoodie back down seeing Blondie and her friend look at me with their jaws down. "I gotta go, Bailey, I'll see you later." The black-haired girl gave me a glare before getting out of the booth. "Sup Blondie." I gave her a quick smile.
