Jimin walks through the silent hallways of the pack house. After coming back from the fight, everyone got their wounds treated and went to their homes to get some rest.

Jimin needs to go find Yoongi because during the fight when Hoseok got hurt and Jimin was trying to help him, two werewolves of the Crimson Shadow tried to attack them. That's when Yoongi distracted them and fought against the werewolves to save the two mates. Jimin has to thank him for that.

He knocks at Yoongi's room but when he gets no response, he decides to check on Hoseok and come back later.

As he stands outside his room, he hears two voices. He knows who are the two people. It's Hoseok and Yoongi. Without knocking, he enters the room.

Hoseok looks at his mate and smiles while Yoongi frowns at him. "What? It's my room. I can come and go whenever I want." Jimin says, wondering if he offended Yoongi in some way.

"So what brings you here, Alpha Yoongi?" Jimin asks, sitting on the bed because the chair beside Hoseok is occupied by Yoongi.

"I just came to check on the two of you." Yoongi says, feeling a little shy because he is not the one to openly talk about his feelings like that.

"I'm doing fine and so is Hoseok hyung. Thanks for saving us." Jimin says and smiles at him genuinely.

"I'm glad to know that." Yoongi replies. He feels as if a weight has been lifted off from his shoulders. He is relieved that both his mates are fine. Yes, Yoongi has accepted the fact that he has two mates suddenly when he had none a few months ago but they are yet to talk about it.

"Alpha Yoongi, don't you think we should talk about it? It's a conversation due for a long time." Hoseok says, trying to sit up straight with the help of Jimin who reclines him to the headboard of the bed for support.

"Yeah, yeah okay." Yoongi says. He is slightly nervous about this conversation but he is also excited. Maybe he wouldn't be alone anymore.

"So I'm sure you feel this sort of... connection with us-" Hoseok begins but is cut off by Jimin, "That's called the mate bond, hyung."

"Can you stop being so straightforward? Some people cannot take someone being so direct." Hoseok says, making Jimin frown at him.

"First of all, I'm gay so I can't be straightforward and secondly, just because you freaked out when I mentioned about us being mates for the first time, it doesn't mean Alpha Yoongi will react the same way. He seems like a pretty cool guy." Jimin says.

Hoseok narrows his eyes at his mate, "You mean I'm not cool?"

"Hyung, let's talk about important matters first." Jimin suggests shaking his head because he knows once they start bickering, there would be no end to it.

"Okay so Alpha Yoongi-" Hoseok starts but he is cut off again, this time by Yoongi. He frowns. What is with everyone interrupting him today?

"First of all, no need to be formal. You guys can call me hyung... or just Yoongi. Second of all, I do feel the connection with the two of you or you can say, the mate bond." Yoongi says. The other two nod.

"I'm so glad that you didn't freak out like Hoseok hyung did. But are you like... okay with having two mates? I mean it's very rare and all and you never had a mate. Suddenly you found out that you have two of them." Jimin asks.

"I... I think I'm happy that I found people that I can care for. I really was happy with my family. I mean Namjoon, Seokjin, Taehyung, Soobin and Eunha. Eunha is not there anymore." Yoongi's voice turns sad.

"But I always wondered why I haven't found my mate yet. You know what they say about mates, how there care for each other and love each other. I have seen Namjoon and Seokjin and I felt like maybe I want someone like that too. So when I met you guys and felt the connection, I was kind of surprised that I had two mates but I'm mostly happy." Yoongi says. He poured his heart a lot, something he has never done in ages.

"We're glad to know that." Hoseok says with his beautiful smile.

"But since you don't know us well and we don't know much about you either, we need to start from the basic. The first stage." Jimin says. Yoongi looks at him with confusion. "What's the first stage?" He asks.

"You don't know the first stage?" Jimin fake gasps. Hoseok rolls his eyes and smacks the back of Jimin's head.

"It's his first time you idiot. Stop being so dramatic." Hoseok says and then turns to Yoongi, "It's the feeling attracted and getting to know each other stage."

Yoongi smiles at the information and whispers, "Then let's get to know each other."

"How does it feel like, huh? To have your own mate think that you're not his mate?" Ok Taecyeon's voice resonates through the woods as he stands in front of Jungkook, clearly mocking him.

"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO MY TAEHYUNG?" Jungkook shouts as he grabs the collar of the other alpha who just kept a stupid smirks on his face.

"Oh I did nothing. He was too weak and could not endure it." Taecyeon laughs. Jungkook punches him hard across his face. He is not able to control his anger. He hates the person standing in front of him right now. He cannot hate anyone more that he hates Taecyeon.

"WHY THE FUCK DID YOU TAKE AWAY HIS MEMORY, YOU PIECE OF SHIT?" Jungkook shouts again and punches Taecyeon. The other alpha stumbles backwards. He knows that by now, the squad of the Dark Wood pack and the Night Walker pack have taken down almost his entire squad and he doesn't stand a chance in front of the alpha. He is just trying to appear strong which is a facade. He doesn't want to give Jungkook what he wants so easily.

"Oh I did not take away his memory." Taecyeon shrugs.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"You see, I kidnapped Taehyung because I wanted to use him as a hostage so that I could get to you. You have only one weakness and that is Kim Taehyung so I took him with me. I wanted to use him. Trade him with you for your pack." Taecyeon admits.

"My pack? You wanted my pack?"

"Of course. The Dark Wood pack is one of the biggest packs in the world so why not? But your little mate tried to resist a lot and forced me to go hard on him. We tortured him and the sound of his screams were music to my ears. But then he was weak. So weak that after getting hit a few times everyday, he passed out. We called the doctor though and what he told us made me feel like nature does keep balance, you know." Taecyeon says. Jungkook's heartbeat quickens. He feels so bad right now. He feels like crying just at the mere thought of what his mate had to go through.

"What balance?"

"You see, the true blood is the strongest among our kind but his mate is the weakest. That indeed is the best way nature could have balanced." Taecyeon smirks. All Jungkook wants is to kill him right then and there. But he cannot do that. He just can't until he gets all the answers that he wants.

"Taehyung lost his memory when he woke up. I was happy that such a pretty omega did not remember his own mate. So I told him that I was his mate and he believed. It did not take me much time to convince him that the mating mark on his neck is mine instead of yours. He was convinced that the baby he was carrying was mine and not yours or anyone else's." Taecyeon's words start making Jungkook angry. Angrier than he thought he could ever be.

Soobin was his son, his own flesh and blood, his precious baby. But the asshole in front of him manipulated his mate and fed him with lies. Jungkook is furious. He is mad at himself for not being able to protect his mate and his son. He regrets not being there for Taehyung when he needed him the most even after promising him that he would always love him and protect him.

"YOU DICKHEAD! HOW DARE YOU?" Jungkook shouts and lunges forward to hit him.

"But I must say, Jungkook, Taehyung is a good fuck. His body is sexy as fuck. He warmed my cock so well. Oh damn, I wish I could have him again. I miss the feeling of being inside him. But he ran away after a few months so we couldn't do anything against you until we had him. When we found out he was at the Night Walker pack, we tried to get him back but they protected him without even knowing we were coming for him all the fucking time." Taecyeon says and that's it. The last string of Jungkook's patience break. He starts hitting Taecyeon non stop before shifting to his wolf form and they start fighting until one of them is no more alive.

"I'm sorry, Jungkook. I kept on knocking the door but you didn't reply so I thought I should check on you." Jungkook comes back to reality when he hears Taehyung's sweet voice. He was too busy recalling what happened when he fought Taecyeon that he did not even hear the knock at the door.

"I'm sorry. I was thinking about something." Jungkook says and tries to smile at Taehyung. But it's really difficult when all he can think about is how his mate had to go through so much in life. He failed as a mate. Now Taehyung doesn't remember him and the beautiful moments they shared together before he got kidnapped a little less than two years ago.

When he saw Taehyung at the hospital of the Night Walker pack, he wanted to approach him and ask him what happened because he tried to look for him for so long. But when he didn't see any recognition in the younger's eyes for him whatsoever, he knew somenthing was definitely wrong and decided to look into the matter.

He wants Taehyung to remember everything about them but he cannot even force him. So he decides to take care of him and love him like he is supposed to. He won't let him go this time and maybe even consult a doctor about his condition but of course he needs to make Taehyung agree on it first.

"You are zoning out a lot today." Taehyung says, walking closer to the bed.

"I'm sorry. I'm just tired." Jungkook says, smiling a little.

"Oh I understand. I'm sure you'll get better soon." The omega smiles at him beautifully.

"Oh by the way, someone is here to meet you." Taehyung says and looks behind himself. Jungkook follows his gaze and sees the little alpha crawling behind his mother, approaching Jungkook's bed.

"Soobin." Jungkook smiles brightly when he sees his son. Taehyung picks him up and makes him sit on the bed next to Jungkook.

Soobin gets closer to Jungkook and starts examining his face carefully. Jungkook smiles at him, "My beautiful baby, come here." He says and cuddles him, finding absolute happiness in this moment.
