7 YEARS AGO...

Jungkook sighs and sits under a tree in the playground. He unwraps the chicken sandwich that he bought from the cafeteria.

It's lunch break right now. He sees some guys playing football in the field. He sometimes feels jealous of all this. Playing sports with his friends is something Jungkook has always wanted to do but he never had friends except for Hoseok and Jimin who have already graduated from high school.

Jungkook is a true blood and people are actually scared of him. Since a true blood is the strongest among the werewolves, learning to control themselves is even harder for them. At such a young age, a true blood can easily lose control, harming people around themselves so every mother tells their pups to not angry the true blood, or much better, don't go near him, don't talk to him, don't play with him and don't befriend him.

Jungkook has had a very lonely childhood and teenage years because of this. He couldn't enjoy school life at all. Even though he is really thankful to the Moon Goddess for giving him such powers and making him the most powerful werewolf on the planet, he cannot help but feel lonely.

But he always endured the loneliness thinking that once he reaches the mating age, he would find his mate and he would not be alone anymore. But Jungkook turned eighteen a few months ago and still there are no traces of his mate.

Jungkook sighs and decides to eat his sandwich instead of indulging his mind into such depressing thoughts. But before he can even take a bite, he hears a loud, high pitched scream coming from somewhere nearby.

Jungkook shoots on his feet, quickly wrapping the sandwich again and putting it in the pocket of his jacket.

He follows the direction from where the voice came and now he can smell a sweet scent that he has never smelled before. It's sweet and addicting. Jungkook loves it.

When he reaches the spot, he sees a purple haired male being pinned by the wall. A guy, specifically an alpha, has his hand wrapped around the smaller boy's neck.

Jungkook knows that he is definitely an omega. He is also the prettiest boy Jungkook has ever laid his eyes on. The boy is extremely good looking that Jungkook forgets to breath.

"Pl-Please d-don't hurt me. Pl-Please I beg y-you." The purple haired male speaks between his sobs. He is wriggling in the grasp of the unknown alpha but its of no use because he isn't very strong physically to go against an alpha. He is just a fifteen year old omega.

On the other hand, Jungkook's heart is beating really fast. The scent is getting too much for him. He feels a sudden urge to talk to the beautiful omega and to hold him close to himself. He wants to save the purple haired male and protect him.

Jungkook knows what this feeling is. This boy is his mate.

"If you stop resisting and just give me a head, I wouldn't have to hurt you, omega." The other alpha's annoying voice snaps Jungkook back to the reality.

"Get your filthy hands away from him." Jungkook says in a quiet tone but it is enough for the two males to look at him. The both of them are surprised to see that the true blood is here.

"And if I don't?" The other alpha challenges. He does not want to appear weak in front of the true blood. Its probably dumb but he doesn't want that.

"I can simply use my alpha voice on you. Bet you don't want that." Jungkook says as calmly as he can but on the inside, he wants to beat this alpha to pulp because of the way he is treating his mate.

Jungkook doesn't like using his alpha voice for insignificant and unnecessary things. This situation is not insignificant or unnecessary but if he can solve a problem without using his alpha voice, he would do that.

The other alpha looks at Jungkook with a lot of anger in his eyes but he decides to not do anything because of the stories he has heard about the true blood.

They say Jungkook is a freak and a monster who can destroy their lives. Of course, the alpha does not want that so he huffs in annoyance and decides to leave.

"Make sure I don't see you around this guy again otherwise it won't be good for you." Jungkook warns the other alpha who just rolls his eyes and mumbles a 'whatever'.

Once the alpha is out of sight, Jungkook looks at the purple haired omega who is looking at him with big, scared eyes.

"Are you okay? Did that asshole hurt you?" The ravenette walks closer to the omega but the other moves away. "Y-Yeah, I'm okay." Truth be told. The omega is too scared of the true blood alpha. He cannot stay in the vicinity of a true blood. What if the Jungkook sent the other alpha away to have him just for himself?

"Are you sure? You don't look fine. Your neck is bruising." Jungkook points out. He is standing very close to the younger now. He can hear the fast heartbeat of his mate and he knows that the omega is scared of him. But he cannot really blame his mate for that. Rumours about the true blood are not very reassuring.

"Uh... Y-Yeah." When the omega moves back again, Jungkook stops moving ahead. He does not want to make him uncomfortable.

"Alright. Take care. Try to stay away from asshole alphas." Jungkook says and turns around to leave. He can sense the other's fear and it breaks his heart to know that even his own mate is scared of him. This is the first time he met his mate but the omega might never see the real Jungkook because of the rumours. He does not even know that the true blood is his mate because he is younger than Jungkook.

Maybe Jungkook will have to wait for a long time before he could finally claim the out of the worldly beautiful omega, if the younger does not reject him, that is.

Also I think this is the last detailed BTS update I'm giving y'all for a while because BTS is taking a break for the vacation. This is their second official break since 2019 and its the first time they'll be celebrating this holiday seson with their families. According to me, they totally deserve it. When there was a lockdown and we were at our homes, relaxing while watching BTS because they were the only good thing happening to us, they worked so tirelessly for ARMY. I'm so happy they are taking some time off for themselves, to relax and come back with a lot of cool stuff! Well, Bighit already informed an album will be coming and it will be a 'New Chapter' along with a concert in Seoul so I'm excited and happy!
