A Few Weeks Later...

Jungkook is pacing outside the operation theatre, biting his nails due to nervousness. His pup is going to be born anytime soon now. He is excited to see them but he is also very worried about Taehyung. His poor mate has to go through so much pain during the pregnancies and deliveries.

"Jungkook, what's wrong with you? Just sit down." Yoongi instructs him but the true blood just shakes his head and continues pacing like before. The other head alpha sighs but decides to stay quiet. It's no use telling the ravenette because he won't listen to him anyway.

"Kook, calm your tits and sit down." Jimin has an annoyed expression on his face when he forces the younger to sit. Jungkook gives him an 'are you for real look?'. "Dude, everything is okay. Seokjin hyung is with him and you will have your pup in your arms in a few minutes. What are you even so worried about?"

"Hyung, Tae must be in so much pain. I caused him that. During the entire pregnancy, he was in pain and right now, they are opening him up to take the pup out. Hyung, they are cutting him! How can I stay in peace after knowing that?" The ravenette's voice is panicked much to Jimin's annoyance.

"Are you telling me you regret impregnating him?" Jimin shoots.

"No! Why would I?"

"Because you sound like that, asshole." Jimin rolls his eyes. The ravenette thinks about what he said in his mind again and he realises that he might be sounding like how Jimin said.

"I'm sorry, hyung. That's not how I meant it. It's just... I'm so worried about him." Jungkook says, concern dripping from his voice.

"I know you are but don't let those stupid thoughts get you. Taehyung will be fine soon. He's so strong." The shorter male squeezes his shoulder to comfort him, making the ravenette smile.

They sit there for a while before they see Namjoon walking with a sleepy Soobin in his arms. The little alpha is rubbing his eyes. Jungkook stands up and walks up to his son. "Hey, don't do that. You'll hurt your eyes." The ravenette says, putting away Soobin's hand from his eyes.

The little alpha makes grabby hands towards his father, wanting to be in his arms. Jungkook takes him from Namjoon while the older alpha tells him, "He woke up and threw a tantrum for coming here. I fed him some fruits before bringing him here though."

"Thank you, hyung." Jungkook smiles at Namjoon before looking at his son who is busy playing with his eyebrow piercing again. It's been a while since Soobin met Jungkook but his fascination with his father's eyebrow piercing doesn't seem to die down.

"Dad! Wh-When will baby come?" He asks cutely in his baby voice.

"Soon, baby. Are you excited to meet them?" Jungkook asks, fixing his hair. Soobin bobs his head which shows how excited he is.

They wait for a few more minutes before the door of the operation theatre opens and Seokjin walks out. Soobin notices him first and squeals, "Jinie uncle!"

Jungkook's head snaps in Seokjin's direction and he rushes towards the older omega. "How's Tae, hyung?"

"He's fine and he delivered a healthy baby girl. Taehyung is unconscious because of the Anesthesia we gave him. The nurses will bring the pup after cleaning her." Seokjin informs the worried true blood. Jungkook sighs. Finally everything went well.

Taehyung slowly opens his eyes and lets them adjust to the sunlight that is seeping in through the windows. "Mama!" Soobin's voice is the first thing that he hears after waking up. He turns his face in the other direction and sees that he son is sit on the bed beside him.

Soobin scoots closer to his mother and starts kissing his whole face lovingly. He was so worried seeing his mother sleeping for so long.

"Dad! Mama wakey wakey!" Soobin squeals happily and Jungkook, who was standing outside the room, attending an important phone call, quickly opens the door and walks in.

A smile instantly makes its way on the ravenette's face when he sees his mate. He walks closer to Taehyung and kisses his forehead. "I'm so glad you're all good, sweetheart."

"Me too but where's our pup?" Taehyung asks, looking around, wanting to meet his new born pup. "I'll get her." Jungkook says, walking towards the crib that is placed a few feet away from Taehyung's bed.

"Did your dad say 'her'? Does my Soobinie have a sister now?" Taehyung asks his older baby, booping their nose together. The little alpha excitedly nods his head while shouting a 'yes'.

Jungkook picks up his daughter from the crib and brings her to her mother. He lowers the baby to Taehyung's level so that he can hold her.

As soon as Taehyung takes his baby in his arms, he feels getting overwhelmed by emotions. Finally they have a female member in their male dominated family.

"Oh my God, isn't she the prettiest thing ever?" Taehyung coos, staring at the baby lovingly. "She is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life." Jungkook agrees with his husband, also staring at their daughter.

"Baby bootiful!" Soobin squeaks, wanting to tell that he finds his sister beautiful as well.

"She is, isn't she, baby. Just like my Soobin is the most handsome pup ever." Taehyung praises his son too who claps his hands happily.

"What should we name her?" Jungkook asks.

"Since I named Soobin, its only fair that you name her." Taehyung says, smiling at the true blood who looks really excited. "How does the name Arin sound to you?" He asks his husband.

Taehyung smiles at the name. "It's a beautiful name, Kookie. We're naming her Arin." Taehyung says with finality in his voice.

"Arin noona!" Soobin says happily, making his parents chuckles. Jungkook picks him up in his arms and kisses his face. "Baby, Arin is younger than you. You don't have to call her noona. She will call you oppa, okay?"

"Okay!" Soobin squeaks happily, licking his father's face while his mother looks at the interaction between the two with loving eyes.

This is all he ever wanted in life. A cute family with no external drama. Finally, Taehyung's life is coming back to track. He is much stronger and healthier now with the support of his mate, son, friends and now his daughter too.

"Soobin, you're a big pup now. You should try quitting mama's milk and leave some for your sister." Taehyung sighs as he puts the little alpha in his bed after breastfeeding him. These days, the Jeon family sleeps in the same room because even though Soobin is older than Arin, it does not mean he is old enough to sleep alone.

"NO! MY MILKH!" Soobin shouts. It's been two months since they brought Arin home. The little alpha loves his sister a lot but he gets possessive over his parents and his milk sometimes. Well, he's a child himself and earlier he got all the attention just for himself. Now he has to share it with his little sister and he still needs time to digest this fact.

"Soobin, sleep! Mama is tired." Taehyung says, patting his son's head to make him fall asleep. "NO, MAMA! ARIN NO MILKH!" The little alpha shouts again much to Taehyung's annoyance. You see the omega has to take care of two little pups and it's not an easy job. Even though Jungkook and their friends help him, the pups still stick with their mama most of the time, as if they are having a competition who would spend more time with Taehyung and that tires the purple haired male a lot.

"Soobinie, stay quiet! Your sister will wake up, baby. Mama loves you but you need to sleep now." Taehyung starts patting his son's forehead again but Soobin is just being a stubborn little pup tonight. "Okay, Soobin. You seriously need to sleep now or else I won't let you play with your Jongho hyung. He's coming back tomorrow." And thankfully this time Soobin closes his eyes. Jongho finally found his mate and they went on a week long trip during their break. Soobin missed him but now the news of him coming back excites him.

After a few minutes when Taehyung has made sure that both his children are in deep sleep, he very quietly steps out of his room. He is so tired. Maybe drinking some hot chocolate before going to bed isn't a very bad idea.

Once Taehyung enters his kitchen, he sees his true blood mate, placing two cups of hot chocolate in a tray. When the ravenette senses his husband's presence, he looks at him and smiles, "Hey Tae! Good thing you're here. I was going to bring some hot chocolate for you."

The omega walks to the counter and grabs a cup, "Thank you so much. I really need this." Taehyung takes a sip from his cup and almost moans at how heavenly the warm drink tastes.

"Do you want to sit in the garden while having this with me for sometime? You know, we could get some 'us' time." The older suggests and who is Taehyung to say no to such an offer? After being tired due to the day's work, sitting with his husband and talking to him over a cup of hot chocolate sounds just right.

So after five minutes, the two mates find themselves sitting on a swing in the garden. The cool breeze touching their skin softly as they drink their warm drink makes them feel relaxed.

"The pups tired you, didn't they?" Jungkook places his hand on his husband's knee and massages it a little. "They do but the smiles on their faces are worth the effort." The omega replies with a boxy smile on his face himself.

"That's true." Jungkook says, gulping his drink down his throat at once. His husband gives him a confused look but when the ravenette places the cup on the grass and stands up from the swing only to walk behind Taehyung to massage his shoulders, all his confusion flies away.

Jungkook presses Taehyung's shoulders and the omega moans at how relaxed he feels. "R-Right there, Kookie." Taehyung hums and closes his eyes. He loves it when his husband pampers him which is almost all the time.

They stay silent for a while as Jungkook presses his husband's shoulders, easing his sore muscles. "You're unusually quiet today, Kookie." The omega says with his eyes still closed. "Is something bothering you? Because I can feel it." Taehyung says and opens his eyes to look straight into his husband's eyes. Jungkook sighs. He knows he cannot hide anything from his husband. Mates can feel each other and he and Taehyung have a connection deeper than normal mates because they fell in love with each other before claiming each other as mates.

"I... I wanted to talk to you about something." The ravenette starts. He knows he has to talk to the younger otherwise he won't be able to stay at peace.

"What is it?" Taehyung raises an eyebrow. If something can get his mate this worked up, it's a serious matter.

Jungkook walks around the swing and comes in front of Taehyung. He kneels down on the floor, taking the omega by surprise. The purple haired male is about to stand up on instinct but Jungkook places his hands on his knees, not letting him stand up.

Taehyung is very confused with his husband's behaviour but he decides to let him speak. "Taehyung, I know I'm almost a year too late but hear me out okay?"

That gets Taehyung a bit worried. Jungkook only ever calls him by his name when either they have an argument or if they are talking about something serious. "What is it?" The omega whispers.

"It's about the time when... when Soobin got kidnapped." Jungkook starts. Taehyung takes a sharp breath. That time was horrible and Taehyung has been trying hard to forget it. It's funny how he cannot forget what he wants to forget and cannot remember what he wants to remember. But he believes Jungkook who has told him everything about their past. His friends have been a great help too and now Taehyung can remember crumbs of a few memories.

"What about it?" Taehyung asks. Jungkook holds both of Taehyung's hands in his and plays with his wedding ring.

"I just... wanted to apologise to you about how I behaved with you back then. My wolf took over and... I feel so, so guilty. I can't believe I did that to you." Jungkook just stares at Taehyung's hand. He is too ashamed to look at his husband in the eyes.

"I-It's okay, Kookie. We've talked about it and I forgave you."

"But you shouldn't have forgiven me so easily, Tae. The way I ordered you to have sex with me and shouted at you wasn't acceptable at all." Jungkook shakes his head, trying to prove his point.

"But you apologised and I... I forgave you. I really did."

"You forgave me because you couldn't stay away from me, sweetheart. We are mates and we crave for each other. But at that time, you were pregnant with Arin and you were more vulnerable than ever. You wanted to stay near me and didn't want us to fight just because you were pregnant. If you weren't, I'm sure you wouldn't have forgiven me that easily. Don't worry, I wouldn't have either because I was a real jerk to you back then." Jungkook finishes saying and maybe he is right. Maybe Taehyung did forgive him quickly for the reasons that Jungkook already mentioned. But that's not the point. Is Taehyung ready to discuss about it when everything is fine and it's a long forgotten business?

"Then what do you want me to do?" Asks the omega.

"Punish me, Tae. I d-deserve it." Jungkook looks so sad, so vulnerable. Well, he has been feeling guilty about this for so long but he did not want to discuss it with Taehyung and stress him out when he was already pregnant. This seems like the right time. If they want to live a happy life ahead, they need to take the responsibility of the mistakes they made in the past.

"How long have you been feeling like this?" Taehyung asks, cupping his husband's cheeks and caressing them lovingly.

"Ever since the day I threw that crap on you." Jungkook says, a drop of tear making it's way down his cheeks which quickly gets wiped away by his husband's thumb.

"But Kookie, since that time, you have taken so much care of me. I was so disappointed in you at that time but you were there in each and every step of my pregnancy. You helped me through my morning sickness. You fulfilled all my cravings. You eased my body pain and oh the foot massages you gave me were just heavenly." Taehyung smiles at his husband and bends down to peck his forehead.

"You told me that omega's are not just for giving birth to pups and taking care of them. You made me feel so respected all the other times. You help me with our pups as if it's equally your responsibility too.

"Everyone makes mistakes, Kookie. That rough sex that we had, you think you ordered me to do it with you but I wanted to do it too because I knew it would help you release your frustration somehow. You're a true blood and I understand your emotions must be all over the place and hard to control. And even after I forgave you easily for whatever reason, you have proved to me that you could be better than that.

Actions speak louder than words, Kookie hyung. Your actions have proved how much of a better person you became and... you've been feeling guilty for so long. Do you know that guilt is the biggest punishment someone can get? You got your punishment, hyung. Now is the time for us to learn from our mistakes and move forward, hmm?" Taehyung says softly and even though Jungkook still feels guilty, he decides to let go of that horrible incident and prove it to Taehyung that he would never be the asshole he seemed to be at that time.

"Thank you for saying all this, sweetheart. I... I feel a lot better now." Jungkook says, making the younger smile at him.

The omega slides down from the swing and sits on the ground too, just in front of the older. He wraps his hands around his husband and pecks his lips. "I love you, Kookie."

"I love you too, Tae. More than words could ever express."

"I'm so happy to know that. I'm the only one for you. Always remember that." The omega says, nuzzling their nose together. The ravenette smiles, "I'll always remember that." And with that, the two mates join their lips for a kiss full of love, pouring all the feeling they have for each other in that one kiss.

They have everything they need right now. They have their pups, their friends, a nice pack and most importantly, they have each other. Taehyung finally got back the life he deserves. The respect that he and every other omega in this world needs, is very much given at this pack. Dark Wood pack is the best place to live in, in Taehyung's opinion.

But the best thing that Taehyung now has is the faith in love. Before meeting Jungkook again, his life was a mess and the word 'love' had no existence in his dictionary, well apart from the love he had for Soobin but the true blood came and changed his entire life. More like took it back to how it's supposed to be. They cannot make up for the time they have lost together but they believe they can live happily with a lot of love in the present and the future. Love is the only thing that they want, everything else can come along later.
