"How many of you are there!"

I flinched as Bellamy's fist collided with the grounder's ribs, forcing a deep groan to spill from the grounder's mouth.

Bellamy had been at it nonstop for the past fifteen minutes, spitting out demands and sending blow after blow to the grounder. This is a side to Bellamy I hadn't seen before and although his angry face was oddly quite hot, Bellamy's rage sparked a small amount of fear that reminded me of the guards that used to come into my cell in the Skybox.

"You shouldn't have to see this," Callum whispered in my ear.

"Nobody should," I replied rolling my shoulders back and heading towards Bellamy.

"What is-"

"Stop." I stepped infront of Bellamy and pushed him back a little bit.

"What are you doing?"

"Stopping you from doing anymore damage. You need to stop."

"I'm gonna get him to talk."

I forced Bellamy to look away from the grounder and look me in the eyes. "Clearly, it's not working. You can get him to talk another way, just stop hurting him."

"Why are you defending him?"

"Because you're better than this. And you care about your sister."

"I have to care about the camp, too."

This was going nowhere. I ran a hand through my hair shaking it out and sighing.

In an instant, the Dropship jerked sending us all crashing to the floor.

"Everybody alright?" Bellamy called out.

I hummed flipping over and sitting up so I could see the others.

"What the fuck," Callum cradled his head as he stood up.

"What the hell was that?" Miller questioned.

"Drew, go and check what's happening." Bellamy offered me a hand up yanking me into his chest. "You okay?"

"Yeah."

"Good," he breathed taking a second before pulling away. Now he ran a hand over his forehead, slowly starting to pace up and down.

Everywhere you went in camp today was an area full of tension, frustration and desperation; no matter how positively you thought, it was there.

Drew climbed back up and Bellamy questioned him immediately. "What the hell was that? We under attack or not?"

"Storm damage, we're ok."

"We're gonna try this one last time. What's your name? Where's your camp? How many of you are there?"

"Hey, check it out." Miller unravelled some material with vials pocketed in it.  "What is all this stuff?"

"Who the hell knows with these people?" Bellamy commented. He began to untie a worn journal which made the grounder struggle in his restraints. "I think we found something he doesn't want us to see, Miller."

I crouched beside Bellamy and studied each page as he flipped through the book. "Wow," I muttered seeing amazing drawings, one after the after.

"These aren't bad."

A lot of the drawings were of scenery and and nature. I was in awe until I saw a detailed sketch of a well-known face. The grounder had managed to get a lot of the finer details of Octavia's face, it was scary. I didn't bother checking Bellamy's expression, I knew straight away this would fuel his rage towards the grounder.

I turned the page and was surprised to see a page of names and shot my hand out for Bellamy to stop. "Wait. Wait. That's the list. The list I told you about."

Bellamy flipped the page to find a page of tallies. "It's our camp. Guessing that all those marks add up to 101. 10 are crossed out. That's how many people we've lost." Bellamy stalked towards the grounder and stood right in front of him. "Not only have they been watching us, but they've been watching us ever since we got here!"

I sat off to the side feeling tired. I didn't know how much longer Bellamy intended on 'questioning' this guy. He stood still flipping through the journal.

"You look awful," Callum slid beside me.

"So do you," I retorted with a smile. "I just haven't slept great in a while."

"More like you just haven't slept at all."

"Why are you attacking my appearance right now?" I chuckled.

"You just look like you could use a humour break." I knew I wasn't the only person having it rough right now, but I appreciated having Callum trying to make me feel better.

"Get the hell out of my way." My head shot up at Clarke's voice.

"It's okay. Let her through," Bellamy ordered Drew.

"How's Finn doing?" I called over.

"He's alive."

I nodded and let my shoulders sag. Clarke and Bellamy got caught up in a tense conversation I didn't want to be a part of, so I stayed put. Callum's shoulder became my headrest as I closed my eyes for a few seconds.

"Are you really going to sleep right here?"

"I'm just resting my eyes," I whispered back.

"You sound like my dad." I took the moment to picture Callum with his family. A mum, a dad. I wondered if they were a happy family and if deep down Cal missed them.

"Do you wish you had siblings?"

I felt him nod. "A little sister would have been cool."

I laughed softly. "Cute."

I jumped out of my skin, my eyes opening, as somebody pounded on the hatch. "Hey open the door!" Miller yanked open the metal for Clarke who must have left at some point. "Get out of my way, Miller! Now!"

"What's wrong?"

Clarke ignored me and went straight for the grounder branding the knife that was lodged in Finn. "What's on this?"

"What are you talking about?" Bellamy questioned.

"He poisoned the blade! All this time he knew Finn was going to die no matter what we did! What is it?! Is there an antidote?"

I noticed Octavia step forward. "Clarke he doesn't understand you."

"The vials. Maybe one is an antidote," I suggested.

Bellamy handed over the assortment to Clarke who stood before the grounder.

"You'd have to be stupid to have a poison around this long without an antidote. Which one?"

"Answer the question!" Bellamy barked.

"Show us, please." Octavia begged. I was beginning to sense a bond between Octavia and the grounder and I wasn't sure if it was a good thing or not.

"Which one?" Clarke tried to get the grounder to look at the vials. "Our friend is dying down there and you can stop that!"

"I'll get him to talk!"

"Bellamy, no!" Octavia objected.

"He wants Finn to die, why can't you see that?" Bellamy addressed Clarke. "Do you want him to live of not?"

I already knew Clarke's answer, but Octavia still had hope. "Clarke you even said it yourself, this is not who we are! He was protecting me, he saved my life!"

"We're talking about Finn's life!" Bellamy yelled.

"Do it."

"No. Just tell us!" Miller and Callum held back Octavia pushing her back.

I sped after Bellamy and blocked him from grabbing a seat belt. I shot him a steely look not liking where this was going. "Are you sure about this? Are you sure you want to do this?"

"We don't have a choice. It's Finn or him."

I looked at Octavia's distraught face and bit my cheek. "Fine," I sighed. I needed to remind myself this was for Finn, but I didn't want us to torture somebody.

Bellamy grabbed the belt and tore the grounder's top with a knife. He ripped away the fabric leaving the grounder bare. "You're gonna show us the antidote or you'll wish you had."

I anticipated the first hit and cringed slightly hearing the sound of the buckle hitting solid flesh. Clarke was quick after the second hit to kneel before him and spread the vials. "Please. Which ones the antidote."

"Clarke." She lingered ignoring Bellamy before she stood and allowed Bellamy to continue whipping the slouched grounder.

"Enough!" Octavia screamed.

"Clarke! He's getting worse!"

"We're running out of time. Which one? Which one is it? If you tell us they'll stop! Please, tell us which is the antidote and they'll stop this!

"If that doesn't work, maybe this will." Bellamy brandished a knife stepping closer to our captive. "Last chance."

The grounder's lips stayed sealed and nobody said anything. I felt my stomach flip at the unknown. We were taking this too far.

In a flash, Bellamy stabbed the grounder through the hand. He groaned as I gasped turning away to face Miller. I didn't want to see Bellamy do that. My hands harshly rubbed over my eyes and ran into my hair. "This is so fucked up," I breathed.

"This is wrong!" Vi yelled.

"What's taking so long." Raven joined the party. "He stopped breathing."

"What?" Clarke almost went for the ladder but Raven stopped her.

"He started again but next time he might not."

"He won't tell us anything?"

Raven looked over the grounder scanning his wounds before her eyes landed on a heap of wires. "Wanna bet."

"What are you doing?" Bellamy stepped in. Shocker.

"Showing him something new." Raven boasted two torn cable and struck them together emitting sparks of electricity that really sparked fear within the grounder. He struggled in his restraints but couldn't move far.

Raven lunged forward and shoved the cables into the grounder's torso. I winced seeing sparks fly and his body struggle to cope with the voltage. The room went dark as the lights blacked out for a few seconds. She tore the wires away and started screaming at him.

"Which one is it? Come on!"

The Grounder only heaved in gulps of air slouching in his restraints.

"We have to help him. Please Eden. You know this is wrong. Please." Octavia murmured. I glimpsed her distraught demeanour and felt an annoying pit in my stomach riddle itself with guilt.

"Okay. Okay." I looked pointedly at Vi. "I'm doing this for you. I'm doing it because you're my best friend."

With a quick breath for courage, I stepped in Raven's way.

"Woah. Eden, what are you doing." I caught the panic in Bellamy's voice.

"Raven, you need to stop."

"He's all I have left." Raven struck the wires together threateningly but I held my ground.

"Raven, stop!" Bellamy barked.

"Just calm the fuck down! You're done. Put the wires down." I shouted.

The others started yelling and that ignited the rising chaos in the small area. I went to take the wires off Raven, but she jerked away.

"Stop!"

"Put the wires down, you psycho!"

"Raven!"

"Eden, move!"

"Stop the yelling! Dang."

Raven yelled and lunged and that's when I felt it.

Strong, searing, agonizing sparks bolted straight up my spine, a white hot pain bleeding through my insides. I dropped to the floor the moment Raven jerked the wires away, she'd only shocked me for a few seconds but the pain was immense.

"Eden!"

"Fuck," I sputtered feeling numb sensations all over. My eyesight was still a brilliant white and a jarring ringing started in my ears. "Could you not have pulled the wires away quicker?"

"That's not funny, Eden." Bellamy hovered over me clearly scared for me and scared to touch me.

"I'm fine." I lied heaving myself up into a seated position.

"What is wrong with you? Did you not see her stood right infront of you?" Bellamy barked.

Raven gripped the wires firmly eyes still set on the grounder. This bitch never gives up.

"I'm sorry, but he's letting Finn die."

Through my wavering vision, I saw Octavia cut herself with the poisoned knife.

"Octavia, no!" Bellamy yelled moving slightly away from me and to his sister.

"He won't let me die."

"Is what you're praying," Callum shook his head.

"This one?" She asked him. The grounder shook his head.

Okay. So he was going to tell her which one it was. The fact I had pins and needles running up my legs and my chest felt tight, took away from me admiring the sweet, strange bond Vi had developed with the same guy we'd been torturing.

"Miller." His eyes shot to me, I motioned for him and Callum to help me stand. "I need to go outside."

"It's still raining," Miller pointed out.

"Then just take me somewhere I can throw up, then dramatically cry about how I just got myself electrocuted," I groaned.

We slipped down the hatch, before Clarke and Raven with the antidote, both boys acted as crutches as we shuffled outside briefly. I hurled up my guts, whilst I began to get some form of sensation back in my legs. "Okay. Im done!" I stumbled back to the boys and let them guide me to a more secluded area inside.

"I'll be back with water," Callum said.

"Are you okay?"

"I know I just puked up my intestines, but other than my chest I'm good. In fact, I'd happily get shocked again."

Miller's face said it all, he thought I was crazy.

"I'm joking. Don't look at me like I'm insane."

"You are. You're mental for stepping in front of Raven like that. She's not your biggest fan."

"In hindsight. . . You're probably right. It wasn't my finest hour."

Callum returned and handed over the water. "Your man is looking for you."

"My man?"

"Don't play dumb. Bellamy, who else?"

"You didn't say where I was, did you?" Callum shook his head. "Good don't tell him."

"Why?" Both boys fired at me.

"First of all, I just threw up. Second of all, I don't know. I just don't want to see him right now."

"Trouble in paradise already." Callum walked off to go distract Bellamy maybe. Who bloody knew?

"Who would have thought it? The camp leader: King Blake. And the camp rebel, slash badass would get together."

I laughed at the inaccuracy of the titles I was labelled with. "More like trouble maker, failed camp leader, and big kid at heart. Anyway, we're not together "

"Could have fooled me," Miller smirked.

"Enough about me. What about you? Have you found Mrs or Mr Miller yet?"

"No. I haven't really been looking."

"Great. I'm a perfect match maker. You just have to tell me what you're into," I winked.

"How about after the Grounders are dealt with I let you play Cupid?"

I clapped excitedly. "That sounds like a long wait and we all know I'm impatient, but I suppose it gives me time to scout out the potential."

Miller shook his head in amusement. "How's your chest feeling? Still tight?"

"It's all wearing off. I'll be back to normal really soon. "

"Look who I brought along." Callum nodded for Miller to get up as Octavia took his place. "I got little Blake instead of lover-boy Blake."

I pulled a face at Callum, he returned it and left with Miller.

"Clarke said if you feel ill or weird go find her. Also, you may feel a few after effects which are normal if it doesn't affect you too bad."

I nodded although hopefully I wouldn't have to follow those instructions.

"Thank you, Eden. You got electrocuted because I asked you to step in.:

I shrugged. "It was the right thing to do."

A moment of silence took over, before I broke it.

"Can I tell you a secret?"

"Of course."

"My guards in the Skybox used to abuse me."

"What?"

"Yeah. It was more emotionally and mentally more than anything else. So I did feel awful seeing that grounder being tortured."

Octavia looked at me shocked. "What? Surely, they can't do that!"

"I wasn't the only one, it's fine. The guards were above the law a lot of the time. It just feels nice telling somebody." Now I hoped I wouldn't have a nightmare about it.

"So you and that grounder, huh? I saw your stolen glances." I said it nonchalantly to test the waters before I broke out into a grin.

"He understands and speaks English. He spoke to me."

"What did he say?"

"Thank you."

"Next, he'll be saying I love you."

"I doubt it."

"Come on. Be positive."

Vi and I spoke for a little while longer, before we seperated it. It felt good to have a girly chat with a girl, since I always forced those sorts of conversations onto Jasper and Monty, mainly Monty because he never seemed to mind. By the time we finished, I could feel all my limbs perfectly fine and the tightness in my chest dissipated.

I walked through the ship, until I bumped into Bellamy who appeared surprised to see me.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"Can we talk?"

"Yeah." Bellamy led me outside where people were fixing up camp a bit. We followed the perimeter of the Dropship before stopping off to the side.

"Firstly, are you okay? You disappeared after you got hurt, then Callum said to go find you later since Miller was helping you."

"Yeah. Im fine now. The pain and numbness has worn off."

Bellamy nodded for too long as if he wanted to say something, but didn't know how to broach the topic. So I started instead.

"Bell, what are you gonna do with that grounder? Are you gonna keep him locked up?"

"If he leaves, he can easily tell his people everything. Clarke told me to talk to you about it, although he's more than likely going to have to remain here."

"I don't know why you'd consult with me. I haven't exactly been taking this camp leader thing seriously."

"You have, in your own unorthodox way. The camp probably prefers you over Clarke and I, you're more fun."

I shrugged accepting the compliment. "No more hurting him if he stays."

"Deal. What I did back there... I had to. I didn't mean to scare you or get you worked up."

"Nobody forced you to do it, Bell. You shoved a knife through his hand like it was nothing."

Bellamy took hold of both my hands and held them tightly. "I know. I don't expect you to get my point of view, and I'll have to remember everything I did, but I didn't do it for me or some sick satisfaction. And I can't apologise because him and his people have done worse. I didn't kill him."

I looked into his pleading, dark eyes and felt my exterior melt a tiny bit. We'd never see eye-to-eye on this subject, so I'd have to simply let it go and we both could agree to disagree.

"Is it bad that I want to kiss you right now?"

I slapped Bellamy with a short laugh. "Yes! Right when I was about to let you off."

"Really?"

"Yes. Now I'm going to go check on Finn." I pulled away from Bellamy's appalled face. "I'm not going to kiss you." I laughed and walked away before Bellamy could get a hold of me.

When I went to see Finn, he was asleep. Raven sat beside him, their hands locked together. I crept in, still noticed by her.

"Eden?" My appearance must have surprised her. If it were a few weeks ago, I would have jumped on the chance to start an argument with Raven, however being on Earth has changed me, let's say. "I'm- I'm sorry about earlier. I was just on edge and I was hysterical."

"It's forgotten," I waved my hand dismissing it. "I'll leave you to it."

"Wait. No. You stay with him. I need to get some air."

I hesitated but nodded taking her place on the chair beside Finn.

A gentle caress of a hand coaxed me away from my cloud of dreams and into a mist of grogginess. I hummed in acknowledgement hoping the hand would disappear and allow me to plummet back into a somewhat calm sleep.

"Eden." A quiet voice uttered slowly. "You need to get up for a few moments."

I whined in protest turning away from Bellamy, my mind already shutting down again.

"Eden. You can't stay here all night. It's uncomfortable."

My eyes took in Bellamy's blurry, crouched figure and groaned. "I don't care."

"Come on." He stood up and easily pulled me up from my hunched position. Most of my weight rested on Bellamy leaving him to wrap his arms around me. "You can either walk the short distance or I'll have to carry you to my
