"I don't know what you are on about, Lucy." Jason spoke after the deafening silence became too much for the most calm person in the room. He spoke very confidently too, not a single hair on his body was on its end, struggling against the nerves. Ice would melt before he did.

She didn't respond at first because she was processing his words. They were not what she expected. She expected him to want to drop to his knees and beg some kind of forgiveness, pleading. Perhaps he would just walk into his room without a single word, embarrassed by his lack of morality by sleeping with not only someone who was in a relationship knowingly, but the two people involved being his close friends. "W-What?" She trembled.

"You heard me. I never slept with you." A twist of his lips, acting shocked, acting like this was total news to him. He scoffed and she blinked.

Lucy was suddenly taken back. Her truth was being blocked by a pair of hazel eyes and she couldn't think straight. "Y-yes, you did. That right there is literal photographic proof that we did."

Selena and Olivia examined the photographs that were still in touch. Although Selena had every single minor detail of Jason in her mind like an eidetic memory, she looked for anything she could of missed. Scars, weird skin conditions, that one single strand of hair that never seemed to stay in place no matter the strength or amount of hair gel or hairspray. Her skin crawled as she peered at the photos.

"Give it here." He snatches the photographs without thought as he began to analyse them too. He walks slowly towards Lucy and looks at her, dead in the eye. "Ah, this guy doesn't have tattoos across his arms or chest. I do."

Lucy was even more confused by this point. How could this be? She takes back the photos and looks at the guys body in the photograph and the skin Jason was bearing. The skin smoothed out with no trace of ink anywhere while Jason's scattered ones were in place in front of her. "W-What?"

"Do you hate Selena that much that you want to stand there and lie about someone she cares about?" He began to tower her, her demeanour suddenly changed as she realised that her word was without a point, no one would believe her.

"Are you serious?" She whispered enough for no one to hear. Her voice was shaking, fearing the worst of this. He just stared at her, that smile still peering. "Why are you doing this to me?"

"Well," He bellows as he steps back. "It's no secret that Selena and I are extremely close and it's also no secret that you have it out for her. Perhaps this was the perfect ploy for you if your unfaithfulness got out."

"No, I-"

He took control again and interrupted. "Then why would you lie about us being involved?"

One tear dripped down her cheek, carrying the smallest amount of mascara. "I- I'm not lying."

"Literal photographic evidence." He mocks. "You did just said that, right?"

"Yes, but I-"

"Do you want to backtrack what you said now you have no further points?"

She manages to pull enough effort to force out a chuckle, an improper one. "God, you are a piece of shit."

"Do not take it out on him." Faith's voice completely dominates Lucy as she was still standing firmly from her doorway. She was holding onto the door handle hard as possible, the anger surging needed a healthy outlet. "You fucked up and you trying to drag someone else in to take the blow is fucked."

Lucy's eyes began to pool up again as she stretched towards Faith. She was losing both types of faith this very moment as she didn't know how to make the judging eyes around her realise the truth. "I-I don't understand. I'm not lying about this Faith, why would I need to?"

"No. I don't want to hear anymore. I want all my shit back and after that, I want nothing left to do with you." Faith slams the door as she steps back in. The room became even more tense at the aggressive slam.

Everyone remained quiet for a moment, taking in what is happening or simply going over what will happen. It was evident that nothing would be how the year started. Things were going wrong. It was majorly fucked.

A desperate Lucy steps forward towards Selena slowly, not really sure how she will respond. With all honestly, neither did Selena. All she saw was red. It also didn't help that Lucy was stepping forward with each movement meaning that she was getting more accessible for Selena to grab by the collar or make a punch if she truly wanted to go down the more violent route. "Selena, I-"

Refraining herself from the crimson emotions that would cloud her judgement, she decided to simply interrupt her explanation. "I could deal with your annoying jealousy, the glares that no one knew about or the fake plans just so I wasn't around because you had good enough reasons to but this? What was your plan, eh? Was Olivia next? Did you want to isolate me from everyone here?"

"No, Sel-" She took another daring step, Selena taking one back.

Instantly, she responded. "Is that it? You want me out of the flat so you can have the perfect university experience with me out of the picture."

"Jesus, Selena. I am not that crazy."

"You're not? I don't even know about that because I don't even recognise who you are anymore." Her voice was so soft that it was sinister.

Lucy had lost all hope of any form of communication. No one would listen to her. Even Olivia, although remained silent, from all the given information, she couldn't exactly side with Lucy. She understood, though it pained her to admit. She wasn't a saint, but she wasn't as much of the devil as she was being painted by Jason was secretly amused by the alteration taking place.

"Please." Desperation. Again. She'd beg on her knees if only she wouldn't look like the biggest fool. With one deep breath: "Believe me."

"Go fuck yourself." Selena follows in Faiths footsteps as she slams the door once she's inside, not even looking back at Jason and Olivia who were still in the corridor, figuring out what to do.

Selena didn't stop once she entered her room. She planted her bag on her desk securely before placing her phone on her Bluetooth docking station and playing the first song that popped up just to drown out the silence. Queen's Don't Stop Me Now. Something a little upbeat hopefully would soothe out the bad mood enough before she craved something that mean leaving her personal four walls.

"Hey." Selena opened her door to Jason after needing several hours of quality time to herself, listening to music and having a cigarette, although it wasn't allowed in her room. She managed to cover the single smoke alarm with a sock and a sandwich bag so she could smoke several drags in peace which also meant a ton of room spray, a vanilla mist was evenly covering everything that smoke could possibly cling to. "Look, I'm so sorry that I didn't speak to you and I just stormed out of there. That was pretty selfish of me."

"I understand why you'd be upset and you are not selfish for feeling shit. And because I knew you'd be upset, I got you these." Just like magic, his left hand that was hiding behind his back reveals a beautiful bouquet of red roses which were sealed together with a white ribbon.

"Oh my god, you didn't need to do this." She contently takes them, doing the usual inhale of their beautiful scent before admiring them. Usually, she would feel bad when she was being presented with random gifts or surprises, but a small part of her felt like she deserved something materialistic to make her mood more neutral.

"No, I did. I just felt bad about how this entire situation has been hard on you, maybe more than you would like to admit, so just something to help or just to make your room look more bright."

"Honestly, sometimes I don't know what I'd do without you." She lets go of the door which now balanced beside his foot as she places the roses on her desk to grab a vase from the windowsill that had been collecting dust since the last flowers have died. "How have you been since it all kicked off?"

"Good enough." He speaks. "Good as I can get,It's hard to find some kind of peace knowing you are living next to a compulsive liar."

"I have never known her to be so horrid." Selena doesn't look back at Jason as she happily places the flowers in the vase and put water in from the bathroom tap. She kept herself busy, her body and expressions gone into full rant mode. "Even if you ignore the lies about you, she's a bitch for cheating on Faith. I just cannot justify what she did because there isn't a single justification about cheating."

"It's okay, Lena." He takes a small step forward, still holding the door.

"I'm just so angry about it. I have never seen Faith in so much pain before." She sighs as she blinks away the excess tears that were suddenly building up again. Luckily, Jason hadn't even noticed. "She usually closes herself off when she had shit to deal with or she goes into complete overdrive where outspoken isn't even the word but we all saw how much of a mess she was."

"She'll be okay, eventually." He doesn't know what comforts women in a time like this. "This will be almost like a life lesson, you know."

She continued. "You just don't tell people that you love them if you have even the smallest amount of temptation to break their heart."

"Have you spoke to her?" He asks.

"To Faith? No. I did try texting and calling a few times but break ups suck and we all handle them differently. She's probably going to ignore us all tonight and act like everything is okay, tomorrow." Her shoulders lifted her, not knowing. Faith was either easy to track or completely off the radar when it comes to doing things in a bad state of mind.

"Sounds pretty much like every person I have known." He lifts a small smile.

Selena finishes off the floral arrangement and places them where the once empty glass vase stood. It really did give the room a little edge now, the vibrancy from the red against the neutrals and blacks. "Well, thank you so much for the beautiful flowers, Jason. Do you want to come in or...?" She instantly knew that he was only hanging about to present her with a gift and a small conversation. He had things to do but there was no harm in trying.

He looked conflicted momentarily as he looks down the hall to where his room was. "I better not. I need to finish off an assignment for the end of the week."

"Okay." She sighed with a frown. "Well, when you want a little break, tell me and we can go out, just the two of us."

"That sounds tempting." He hums at the thought. "A date it is."

"A date it is." She confidently confirms before closing the door behind the smiling man, however he goes back in his tracks.

"Oh, you haven't seen a wallet, have you? Maybe I dropped it in your bag earlier. Luckily, I have all my cash, cards and that but this wallet is a sort of family thing." His eyes trace her flooring in case it was in plain sight but it wasn't to his displeasure.

"No I haven't but I'll keep an eye out. It shouldn't be too far." She beams before closing the door behind him, although she didn't have a single spec of energy to even look.

Selena's music continued to blast, as it had done since she came into her dorm but it was interrupted for a moment with a few seconds of the song lowering in volume and a vibration.

She peered over the side to the docking station to see what notification was on the screen. Her heart raced with joy when FAITH <3  was on the text ID. She had wanted that all night.

Come to out spot, please. I need you.
