Loneliness

I'm not alone.

Loneliness is always with me..

Ugh.. Hell.

I don't like it here.

I wanna run.

That's how I feel everyday.

I don't even feel like a daughter to them anymore.

I was adopted at the age of 6. All I remember is that I was raised inside an orphanage and everyone avoided me.

Why?

I didn't have human friends. The only friend I have are the animals. Around there.

Oh! Did I forget to introduce myself? I'm just a girl with a medium hazelnut hair and pale skin. I have brown eyes to pair with them. As for my name...

It's a secret~

I have this kind of ability to be able to understand and communicate with animals and that fact creeped everyone out.

You're an animal yourself!

Watch out! It's the freak!

Maybe she's a witch!!

Those kind of statements.

But then I was adopted by a couple and they ignored that fact. I didn't know it wasn't the only one they ignored.

They also ignored my well being.

They ignored my feelings.

They ignored me.

They only treated me as a maid, as a trash, and the only thing that's positive coming from them is that everytime I worked, I earned money from them, gave me food and a roof above my head.

My 'Dad' always came home drunk and my 'Mom' would always start a fight with him and always ended physically when I tried to calm them both down and ended up bruised.

Whenever I stayed quiet not wanting to be hurt, Mom always barged into my room in the middle of the night pulling my hair yelling "WHY DIDN'T YOU STOP HIM LIKE THE LAST TIME HUH?! I THOUGHT YOU'RE A LITTLE BRAVE BRAT?! NOW I'M THE ONE IN CUTS YOU INSOLENT CREATURE!!!"

I was crying saying 'Sorry' over and over again but that wasn't enough to satisfy her and threw me across the room. One day they even stopped giving me food and I had to buy my food and needs myself from the money they gave me from working. I even had a first aid kit in my bag because I'm always beaten up.

'I love you.'

'We accept you.'

'It's okay.'

'Don't be scared.'

'Smile!'

Never heard those words before.

Until this unfateful day came.
