Chapter 45: Finally

~~Minji's P.O.V.~~

Red.

All I can see is red.

Blood..

There's so much blood..

Flesh.

The disgusting smell and feeling of flesh through my hands.

Screams...

Who's screaming?

"NOOOO!!!"

Stop it.

"Stop i- AAAAGHHH!!!"

"MINJI!!"

Bloodcurling roars of plea rang through my ears

Please... Stop it..

Silence suddenly embraced the whole place

Wait. No...

Someone's laughing..

Oh.

That's right.

I'm laughing.

Heh.

Why am I laughing?

"Minji.."

My eyes darted to my hands

W-What....

My breathing got heavier as I stared at my hands

There's blood and chunks of flesh all over it.

I'm still laughing.

"Minji."

What happened..?

"Minji!"

What... Did I do...?

"MINJI!!"

I opened my eyes but quickly shut it due to the sudden wash of pain

Ugh. My head..

I held my aching head in my hand and massaged my temples

Ugh. I wish I could go back to sleep!! My head hurts..

"Ah. The brat finally woke up."

My eyes quickly shot open

This voice...

I look up to the source of voice to see...

"G-G-Ging?!!!"

"That's Ging-sensei for you-"

"YOU DON'T GET TO TALK OLD MAN!! YOU LEFT ME ALL ALONE WITHOUT ANY WARNING!! YOU'RE A ROLE MODEL TO ALL MOTHERFX-"

He covered my mouth with his hand, the other restraining me from kicking him "Noisy. First of all, I'm not an old man. I'm still pretty young you see...." he muttered bashfully

I deadpanned

What kind of dumb joke is that?

"Second, leaving you was part of training. And lastly, language."

"Well sorry not sorry, you're still an old man."

He let go and chuckled "This reminds me of when we met back then..."

I sinked in the bed I'm sitting on, remembering our encounter "Y-Yeah...."

It's been so long since that happened..

I looked away and pouted "I-It's not like I missed you or anything..."

I heard chuckling from him and I grew an irk mark "Oi. What so fu-"

I noticed the hooded figure a few feet away from him "Who's that- Oi, why does he looks like he just got punched?"

Ging scratched his head "Well... You... Kinda punched him accidentally when he tried to wake you up."

Eh?

"EEEHHHHH??? I DID?"

He nodded and I suddenly felt guilty at the thought of hurting someone innocent, just trying to wake me up

I got off the bed and walked closer to the figure despite not knowing who it was "Erm.. Uhh.. I'm sorry for... Punching you I guess.."

He stayed quiet but suddenly took his hood off and held my hands with a smile "It's okay Minji-chan!! Don't be sad!! I'll take anything for you!" With imaginary flowers at the background

I take it back. Not innocent AT ALL.

My eyes widened when I looked at his long white hair similar to mine and his eyes... The same hue as mine

"Y-You're the masked freak! The bipolar one! The one who chased me! The..." I tried my best to come up with words to describe him

~~Flashback~~

I looked at the person as they held the blade to my neck

"I've been ordered to eliminate you..."

"Minji Morrow."

The same hue as mine...

We stared at each other and that's when his golden eyes widened

Min.... Minji... He thought.

He then suddenly broke out of the ribbon with ease and rushed to me with welcoming arms

"MINJIIIIII!!!"

I remained silent and urged him to continue speaking

"I will not say my name yet but, I will tell you my past."

"I'm not even interested."

He sat comfortably on the floor and started "When I was a young boy-"

"Sorry. Not interested." I started walking away, taking Ski with me

"Minji-chan~"

I bowed his head with my hand "Shut up you idiot."

Suddenly a squirrel appeared on the guy's head

The red squirrel looked at me

"J-Ji-Ji..."

"SKIIIIII!!!!"

Ski jumped on my hands and I caressed his cheeks with mine "Where did you go? I haven't seen you for a whileee"

Ging gloomed

Oh. She misses the little guy more than me. Yeah... He thought.

Idiot raised his head "Oh. I forgot to tell ya. I took him with me when we parted ways when we first met because I knew you're going to dangerous missions later on.."

I blinked at him

He could be...a nice guy...

I sighed and placed Ski on my shoulder "I've got a lot of questions for you dude. But first.."

I turned to Ging "Sensei, why is he here?"

Ging scratched his cheek, a little curious at what's gonna happen next "Well.. You see... He's your brother."

Huh?

I blinked "What? I think my ears are tricking me."

He entered my sight with his long white hair and his kind golden eyes and bowed infront of me "It's nice to meet you."

He raised his head "I'm Riku. Your twin brother" and then giving me a welcoming smile

B-Brother??

Most of all... Twin..?

Well yeah it makes sense. We look exactly like each other. And it would make sense that he misses me like what he did on our first meeting... Wait, how can he be so comfortable around me that time? It was our first time seeing each other. And what's with that name? It's completely different from mine, like there's no similarities.. I mean, mine sounds like a name of another language and his sounds cute. Wait cute?

Riku looked at me mumbling to myself, a bit worried. Sensei waved it off as my usual self.

And then suddenly something nudged my cheek. I came back to my senses as I saw Riku poke my cheek

I looked at his worried face "Uhh.. Are you okay Minji?"

He retracted his finger and I scratched my head "Yeah. Just a little shocked I guess..."

"You took it easier than I expected." Sensei spoke

I finally got to meet you..

I looked at the unfamiliar flooring

Wait.

"Oh. And where am I?"

"Took you long enough to realize."

My eyes travelled to Ging, giving him the go to explain

He leaned against a wall and crossed his eyes "We're somewhere far, I'm too lazy to explain but we brought you here after you..."

He seemed to hesitate in telling me, I can also sense the dropping mood. Even Riku too.

"After you fought that girl"

Ah. That's right.

Wait.

What happened?

I can't remember anything after asking her what they did to Gon and Killua..

"What happened next?"

"Well you-"

"Sensei don't."

Sensei?

Oh yeah. Ging mentioned my brother also trained under him.

All eyes travelled to a gloomy Riku

Ging scrunched his eyebrows "She needs to know."

"I'll be the one to tell her."

They stared at each other for a few moments leaving me confused.

I sighed "I get that you don't want to continue this conversation for now?"

They remained silent but glued their eyes on me. I turned to Riku "I need to talk to you alone."

He smiled and I lead the way to the small balcony outside the room. Outside is a forest and some other abandoned establishments

A nice weather today..

I'm not familiar with any of this at all...

Riku entered the balcony and I clenched my fists

I can't believe I'm doing this..

I ran back inside the room, approaching Ging

He raised an eyebrow "What-"

He was met by a hug which catched him off guard

I tightened my arms on his waist as I mumbled "It's not like I missed you okay? I didn't..."

Both males widened their eyes at my gesture

Riku mentally cried

I wish Minji would hug me like that too... He thought.

Ging looked away and patted my head "W-Well I didn't miss you too..."

I parted from him and held his hand open as Ski climbed from my shoulder to his palm "Ski, keep him company okay?"

Ski smiled sweetly and did a salute

Soooo cuteee! Ging thought.

I ran to the balcony, leaving and waving at the two left behind

Riku waited for me with a smile and I just dived off from the 7th floor of the building

Riku panicked and peeked down at me "MINJI!"

The other two inside just watched calmly as I rose moments before collapsing to the ground and flying high, reaching the clouds

I laughed happily "Damn! I feel so freeeee!!"

Riku smiled at me and I noticed he's still at the balcony and he suddenly jumped off the building, mimicking my actions earlier

Now it's my turn to panic "R-RIKU??"

He fell with air hitting his face, letting his long hair flow through the breeze and he did a flip midair before finally flying towards me

He smirked "Heh. See that? Cool right?"

I chuckled "Air huh? That answers some of my questions.."

It was around 5-6 in the afternoon so the sun wasn't a hindrance to flying

I laid on my back on the air and placed my arms at the back of my head as I immediately started off with a question "How's Killua and the others? They don't know where I am and they must be worried..."

He crossed his legs and did an Indian sit "Don't worry, I already told them where we took you. I didn't mention Sensei though, Gon's there."

I nodded, understanding. There was silence between us

"Guess I'll start off with introduction... Yo! I'm Riku and I'm your twin brother!"

He continued rambling on saying he likes soba and there's no other relatives except for our Mother and Father. Oh. He's 19.

"And then-"

"Wait." I halted him. He looks at me confusingly and I continued

"If our only relatives are Mom and Dad, what about Hisoka?"

His face distorts in disgust at the thought "Oh. Him. Haven't heard of that clown for a while... But yeah, he's your cousin."

I looked at him "Our cousin. And yeah. He told me. I met the creep."

"And you believed him."

"Am I not supposed to?"

"He's a creepy clown."

"But he's hotter than you."

We stared at each other before bursting out in laughter

"It's nice talking to you like this.." He turned to me

I scratched my head "Yeah.. I guess.."

"Oh wait, how did you know about what's gonna happen in HxH?"

He scratched the back of his head "I heard from Sensei."

He then grinned "It's now your turn! Well, given that we only just met, I don't know many things about about you."

I copied his position "Oh. Well, I guess I have to. Hi. I'm Minji and I'm your twin sister."

"Pffft. You just copied mine."

"Oh shut up."

I introduced myself and rambled about udon being my favorite food and I also just found out that we both love the color white.

We both did a hair flip and laughing after

We calmed down and I continued "Okay time to ask questions."

He smirked "Come at me."

"What's your Nen category? And your abilities?"

"I'm a specialist. I have mastered my earth and air ability. I can make bow and arrow from air and can create this air slices when it hits the target. I can somehow manipulate someone's emotion when I engulf them in my air. I can manipulate earth by just touching the ground but I can only control the area of 20m around-" He suddenly halted seeing my amazed expression

My eyes practically shone in amazement "Woah.. Whereas I can only fly in air and grow plants with eart.." my expression suddenly replaced with a grouchy one

He smiled "Hey, don't worry, I heard you're a conjurer and specialist."

"From that old man? Well yeah, I can conjure weapons at most. But one odd thing is this manipulative ribbon that I can conjure. I mean, it's not a normal weapon"

I conjured the ribbon and it appeared on my right arm. I pointed my arm towards Riku and the ribbon abruptly shot out towards him, passing beside his head as it sliced a bit of his hair

He shakily looked at the ribbon "W-W-What.. Why..." And fell.

Yes. He's now falling to the ground, losing control of his air ability

"RIKU!"

I disabled the ribbon and hurriedly followed him and dived down

No. No. No. I won't make it...

He suddenly dissapeared into thin air.

What?

I paused my dive and looked around "Riku?"

Silence.

A thought suddenly appeared in my mind and I whipped my head down to see if he really collapsed on the ground

Oh thank god he didn't.

I looked around once again and narrowed my eyes "Riku?"

"Have I mentioned that I can blend with air?"

I felt goosebumps as a voice suddenly whispered beside my ear. I turned my head in that direction but there was no one.

"Over here." A tap on my back

I looked behind me but once again, there's no one.

An annoyed look was evident in my face as I waited once again

"Min-" I quickly conjured the ribbon and wrapped in behind me as soon as he tapped me on my back

It looks like the ribbon wrapped around an empty space but I know he's there "You mentioned that you can blend with air, not be air itself."

He finally revealed himself and grinned goofily "That's right! As expected of Minji-chan!!"

It's like camouflaging. Who are you? Ski?

A dumb idea suddenly appeared on Riku's mind "Oh! How about you call me Onii-chan?"

"The fxck?!" I reluctantly covered my mouth "Uh... sorry.. bad word"

He smirked "Not a fxcking problem"

I chuckled at his response and disabled the ribbon "You look only older now just because I was 11 when I went here and suddenly turned into a 4 year-old brat when I entered. I was also supposed to be 19 now.."

"Pfttt. So you're saying you turned into a chibi when you entered here??"

I pouted "I'm surprised Sensei didn't tell you but yeah, I did. Happy now?"

He laughed harder "Then the more reason to call me Onii-chan!"

Tch.💢

"Not gonna happen!!"

He laughed again and I noticed his hair changing color "Woah. Dude. Your hair is changing color! It's yellow but suddenly turned into red. Oh! It's white again!"

He blinked at me "You didn't know?"

I tilted my head "Know what?"

He pointed to himself and to me "Our hair changes colors when we feel strong mixed emotions. Yellow is for happiness, Red for fear, Black for madness, blue for sadness, purple for confusion and etc. Look, yours is changing yellow, purple, and brown. Guess you're annoyed huh?"

What?

I grabbed the ends of my hair and took a look at it. And certainly, it was changing colors

"Whaaaaatt??? How come no one told me about this..?!" Widening my eyes at the colors

"Mom also didn't tell me at first. I just found out myself."

I looked down

Mom huh..?

"Oh. Speaking of adults, we should probably head back now. Sensei is probably waiting."

"Yeah. Let's go."

We both flew back down to the balcony side by side. I smiled as I flew closer to him

We just met but, we actually get along... And I feel close to him somehow..

I chuckled mentally

He's my brother after all..

We stepped foot into the previous room we were in and saw no one

Well, except for Ski.

Another odd thing is that he's holding a note on his mouth as he climbed up to my shoulder

I took the note from him and Riku peeked on my shoulder, also to read

'Riku and Minji,
I'm glad you two got to meet each other.
I'm glad to have met the little guy again too.
I'm going away cause I'm busy.
Oh and Riku, train her more.
I don't know what to say so, that's all.

Both of us took a deep intake of breath and yelled in unison

"GIIIIIIIIIIIINNNGGG!!!!!!"
