Chapter 11: A Morrow?

~~Minji's P.O.V.~~

We arrived at the venue to see a lot of people now turning their attention on us

I sweatdropped

This is a lot worse than I expected

Some were checking us out, some galring at us, some just glanced and went back to their business

Geez. What did we even do?

The green bean man which name is 'Beans' I think gave us our tags

I look at my tag to see 406 on it

Fair enough.

I put it on and turned to see a certain clown staring at me up and down

I met his eyes and he just licked his lips and walked off somewhere

Why am I not surprised?

I walk somewhere away from the group knowing what'll happen next

I'll play Karma for now

I leaned on the wall while putting my hood on and as if on cue, a certain someone walked over Gon and the group introducing himself then offering the juice.

I leaned my head on the wall with Ski resting on my head like it's the comfiest bed ever

After a few moments the man came to me and did the same with Gon earlier

"Hi I'm Tonpa! I'm taking the exam for the 53th time today so if you have any questions concerning this, don't hesitate to ask me!"

I 'innocently' smiled "Thanks Tonpa! I'm Minji by the way!"

He then handed out the juice to me

He also smiled 'innocently' "Why don't we have a toast to celebrate our friendship?"

I claimed the can and that's when my facade dropped

I smirked at him evily

"Don't fxck with me Rookie Crusher."

I then opened the can and put it inside his mouth making him gulp it all and fall to the floor after

I crossed my arms "Tch. That laxative was so obvious ya know?" I walked over Gon to see him talking with the two

I put an arm on his shoulder "Yo. What ya talking about?"

"We were talking about the people we should avoid that Tonpa mentioned" Leorio answered

Kurapika followed "What caught my attention is that man"

I tilt my head "Who?"

"Hisoka Morrow"

A Morrow?

I wave my hand frantically "You mean Hisoka Morrow?" I say emphasizing the 'Morrow' part

They all nodded and I started to stare into space

There's another Morrow? I thought it was only me and my family? That clown is my relative? What is he my cousin? My uncle? Or even grandpa? No. No. That's not possible he's too young for that. We have the same golden eyes and pale skin not to mention the surname. Ging didn't mention Hisoka being a Morrow. Maybe he didn't want to-

"MINJI!!"

I jumped startled and Ski almost fell off me

I stared in wide eyes "Ah? Why... Wha...?"

"You looked like you had just seen a ghost. Are you okay?"

I nodded my head "Yup I'm fine. I just..." Then I realized something

"Guys do you know my last name?"

They replied shaking their heads

I sigh "I'm Minji Morrow."

They stare at me for a while before shouting

"MORROW?!"

Fxck.

I facepalmed "You're so loud. I'm sure Hisoka's attention is on us now.."

They all look at the said man which confirmed our assumptions

Leorio visibly gulped, creeped out by the clown "M-Maybe we shouldn't have done that.."

I put a hand at the back of my head and laughed nervously "It was my fault sorry.. Honestly I was shocked too. I didn't expect him to be a Morrow.."

Gon suggested "Maybe you should talk to him."

Kurapika and Leorio turned to him shocked "Oi! Are you crazy! He's so creepy!" Leorio cried

I nodded at Gon's suggestion "Maybe I will"

Leorio turned to me "Not you too.."

I smiled "Be right back!" and jogged towards the man

"You're seriously going to talk to him.."

"Yup! And if you don't want to be creeped out, get inside the bag"

Ski nodded and I wait for him to be inside before approaching Hisoka but he cut a man's arm off

I just shrugged and approached him with his back was turned to me so i poked his back two times

He turned to me and grinned in a creepy way "My, my, what a pleasant suprise~"

Some people looked at me like I'm the craziest person in the world but I ignored them

"Can I talk to you for a second?" I tugged on his shirt gently

This girl. She's cute~ He thought.

He raised an eyebrow but obliged nevertheless. We went somewhere away from the crowd and sat on the floor side by side.

I started "You're Hisoka Morrow correct?"

He nodded and took his deck of cards out

I turn my body to him which caught his attention and he stopped shuffling it

"Do you know who I am?"

He turned to me and smiled "The only thing I know is that you're a Morrow like me~"

I nodded "Hi. My name is Minji Morrow."

He had an unreadable expression on his face

Minji? Oh~ So this is her~ He thought.

~~Hisoka's P.O.V.~~

I turned my body towards the person I'm talking to which alerted her.

I smirk "Oh~ So you're Minji~ I actually know you. My Mother is your Father's sister."

I waited for her to figure out what I had just said

She widened her eyes "You're my cousin?!"

I nodded

She then sighed in relief and put a hand on her chest

I raised an eyebrow "What?" I ask referring to her gesture

She chuckled "I'm just relieved you're not my grandpa."

I don't know how to react to that..

So I just stayed silent and our conversation continued

~~Kurapika's P.O.V~~

That girl Minji. She's fascinating.

I looked at my Morrow friend talking to Hisoka calmly

People normally avoid him or they'd be shaking in their knees of they ever talk to him.

She's a Morrow after all Kurapika..

But what bothers me is that their personality is not alike one bit.

I chuckled under my breath

Minji has a lot of talents and potential

Minji... She's special...
