KAMILLE

"What are you talking about? I thought you never worked for him?" I asked confused.

"Remember when I talked to you about how I used to fight to earn money before I started to model and do all of that?" He asks.

"Yes?" I reply.

"Well, I was fighting to help pay off my dad's debt. It was one of the things that I started doing cause I was really good at it. Then one day I just, I wanted out. I wanted nothing to do with that kind of bullshit." He begins to explain before sitting up in bed and swings his legs off the side of the edge of the bed.

I then sit up and start to slowly climb over beside him and start asking for more information.

"So, when Ronnie told me you did deliveries and certain jobs for him, he was serious?" I ask.

"Yeah." He says.

I sit there for a moment to start thinking about everything while trying to process it all at the same time.

"So this debt of your fathers, it's not just his debt you're paying back, is it?!" I ask him hesitantly.

"No." He says. "See, the last time I fought for him, I purposely lost. Which made him lose a lot of money. I had gotten beaten pretty bad and was in the hospital for weeks before I left and because of that, I owe him the amount he lost that night. Which was more than what my father owed him all together. Which is why he has agreed to consider it even if I do this fight. I wouldn't have to pay him anymore or worry about him coming back into our lives ever again." He confesses.

"Well, as much as I wish you would have mentioned that part to me, I would have understood more of this. I love you and we're gonna get through this. Maybe even Chelsea can help us figure something out?" I suggested.

"Maybe." He shrugs.

"We'll talk to her tomorrow." I tell him.

"Okay." He says as he looks at me and smiles.

He leans in and gives me a long and passionate kiss as we hold one another before laying back down on the bed and fall asleep together.

****************
The Next Morning

Yesterday was more emotional than expected and especially after Chelsea had mentioned in who her boyfriend was. Then to top it all off, Larkin told me this morning that she was pregnant. Which if her boyfriend is part of that lifestyle than she's gonna be in danger always.

Throughout today at work, whenever I had a moment to think to myself, I tried thinking of ideas in how we could make this all work out to where I didn't have to worry about Larkin getting beaten to death literally and yet him being able to no longer having to deal with Ciro. Then I hear the bell go off at the door and noticed that Chelsea came walking inside and she had somebody with her.

It didn't take me long to notice that her boyfriend was holding her hand and I have to say that in person, he looks much bigger. A little bigger than The Rock.

While walking up towards me at the counter, she smiles and approaches me.

"Hey." She smiles big at me.

"Hi Chelsea." I reply as I continue looking at him feeling afraid cause of his size and yet also upset that he was gonna hurt my man.

"Smells good up in here girl. Damn." Chelsea says. "I'm gonna order some stuff." She says.

"Sure." I reply and then look over at her.

"What would you like?" I ask.

"We'll order in a minute. But in the meantime, we're gonna wait for Larkin to get here. I texted him saying to meet us here at closing time to talk." She mentions.

"Okay. About what though?" I ask her as I look over at Stone again.

"Chelsea and I came up with a plan for the night of the fight. Something that could be beneficial for all of us in the end." He says.

I just nod my head in agreement.

"Alright." I tell them.

When the last customer finally left, that's the same time that Larkin had pulled up and walked into the bakery and sat down next to me at one of the tables across from Chelsea and Stone.

Stone was cool but Larkin immediately started to glare at him. Well this was gonna be interesting.

Next chapter will be posted soon! :)
