KAMILLE

Today was a big day for my best friend since the fourth grade, Kylie.

Kylie's a fit blonde-haired-blue-eyed-every-guy-wants-her type of a girl. She's hilarious, outgoing, always was popular and still is as it's always been easy for her to get a bunch of friends. However, what made me love her the most was that she had never let anybody bully me without sticking up for me and has always been there for me as well. Which she still does to this day. The best part also is she's never treated me as her fat unattractive friend, never felt I was a third wheel, always came first and just has been an amazing person and friend.

She was a huge breath of fresh air and the sister I never had. I was an only child and my parents never wanted me. Well, they wanted a daughter, just not one that had depression issues and ate her feelings. They were always embarrassed and ashamed of me and she made everything better.

Then one day, the worst thing possible happened, months before we were starting our freshman year in high school.....she moved away.

She stayed in touch of course with Skype and everything, but still, it wasn't the same.

I never told her about my bully Larkin Simms who started bullying me everyday all throughout high school until the time I graduated. Because I knew she would kill him and didn't want to bother her.

He mostly did verbal abuse and watched as well as laughed along with all his friends that did the physical hurting.

Anyways, enough about the past. Right now, we are both twenty-four years old and I already own my own business, which is a bakery while Kylie has recently made protein bars and shakes that has recently been patented as well as approved by the FDA. So she was all set and recently had gotten several huge boxes that she has filling up her spare bedroom in her apartment that's located several miles away from me.

She hasn't had much luck in getting people to buy or even try her product and then she went into a gym she started going to for a year and that's not too far from my place as she talked to the owner one day who said she could bring in her product and have him and his co-owner of the gym to try it.

I don't know much about the fitness world and don't really know much about the owner other than he does modeling jobs every so often, is a well known and popular guy in the fitness industry as he too has a popular line protein bars and drinks.

I am really happy and excited for her and right now am finishing getting ready before heading over to her place to pick her up since I know more about the business parts more than she does.

When she asked if I would help her out a few days ago, I asked about the owner and she told me that his meaning behind all of this was to help those that were struggling with their images. Rather it was being too skinny, unhealthy lifestyle, being too big, etc. Which made me have admiration for this guy and she even had told me he once had been bullied when he was younger.

Then as I got in the car and started making my way over to her place, after pulling up in front of her apartment building, I messaged her to let her know I was outside and while waiting, I decided to look up this guy.

I never had found out his name and was curious as to what he looked like so I searched his gym and products and looked at a few pictures and I have to say he is hot as hell.

Though as soon as I saw what his name was, I recognized the name immediately and instantly felt a little nauseous.

"Oh my god." I say underneath my breath. "It can't be him." I try to tell myself as I begin looking through the other pictures on search and look more and more at his pictures and start seeing that it's him. Only he has a lot of tattoos, different hairstyle and seems to pose like a bad ass in most of his pictures. This can't be happening.

Larkin Simms, the one who bullied me in high school for all those years, HE is the one she wants to do business with? But none of that makes sense from what he has said in his interviews and meaning behind all of this.

I mean, first of all, him helping others? Not to mention he was NEVER bullied. HE was the bully.

Now granted, people can change their looks over a few years as he apparently has but I haven't changed as much. What if he tries to start anything?

Just then my thoughts get interrupted from the back passenger seat door behind the front seat, opening up and Kylie placing her bag and a few boxes down then closed it and came over and sat in the front next to me before we started taking off.

"Hey gorgeous!" She greets me with a smile as always.

"Hey doll!" I replied greeting her too with a smile.

"Thanks again for driving. My car is still in the shop." She says.

"Of course. You know you can always get a ride from me whenever." I tell her.

"I know, cause you're the best." She winks at me.

"Aww, you're so sweet." I reply.

During the rest of the car ride over, I decide not to tell her that this guy she's having this meeting with that I know is gonna change her life forever, was the one who made my life a living hell.

She really needs this deal and I will not let my past issues interfere with her well deserved future. So I just gonna act like a mature adult and do everything it takes to make sure she gets this deal.......But how?
