It was another hot Saturday in Atlanta and Darnell was suffering. The heat was making her body sweat profusely and being seven months pregnant didn't help at all.

Kaydence had just woken up from her nap and was playing in her toy room. Darnell peaked around the open door watching Kay as she played with her dolls. Not wanting Kadence to be confined to the house all day, Darnell decided to put the pool to some use.

"Hey princess you wanna go swimming today?"

Kaydence lifted her head from her dolls with a huge smile on her face. "Yessss!" She exclaimed jumping up and down. "Let's go change our clothes than we can go see if daddy wants to go swimming with us."

Kaydence grabbed Darnell's hand as she led the way into her room to put on her swim suit. When they were done the two made it to Darnell's closet to find a bathing suit to fit her ever changing body.

Darnell huffed as she tried on the last top she had. All the tops and bottoms she had were too small for her. Either her breast were to big and could fall out at any minute or her bottoms were too small as her butt swallowed them up like a thong.

Done with the whole situation Darnell went into her dresser pulling out a sports bra and one of Don's swimming trunks. She wasn't trying to impress anybody. She doubted Kaydence would care what she was wearing, the only thing on her mind was playing in the pool.

"Mommy you coming?" Kaydence asked getting impatient waiting on Darnell.

"Mommies coming baby." Darnell changed her clothes grabbing two beach towels and sunscreen. "Okay let's go princess."

Darnell and Kay made it down the stairs and on to the main level. Before heading outside, Darnell stopped at the stairs that led down to Don's mancave.

"Don!"

Laying back in one of his recliner chairs, Don sat watching a basketball game puffing on a well needed blunt. The club was so hectic but was doing great business. The Miami club wasn't due to open until next month leaving him sometime to go and check up on everything before the grand opening.

He was struggling to find a happy median between being at the club and making sure he still had time with Kay and Darnell, but all he could do was try and get everything done.

As he finished off his blunt he put in out in the ash tray as he heard Darnell calling him from upstairs. He turned off the tv before making his way up the stairs.

"Yeah."

"Me and Kay are going in the pool for a while, I just wanted to know if your gonna join us."

Don looked Darnell up and down analyzing what she had on.

"And your going to wear that?"

Darnell sucked her teeth. "None of my bathing suits fit anymore." She rolled her eyes at the thought of her not being able to wear any of her cute two pieces.

"Are you coming or not?" Don looked at Darnell wondering were this new found attitude came from.

"Please daddy swim with us." Kaydence jumped up and down in between the two hoping her daddy would come swim her and mommy.

Don scooped her up placing kisses all over her face making her laugh. "Anything for you boo boo." Don kissed her again before telling her to wait by the sliding door. Don pulled Darnell back by her arm before she could walk off. He pulled her in his embrace kissing her neck.

"I don't know where this attitude is coming from or who you think you talking to, but you gonna stop talking to me crazy ma." Don made sure to find Darnell's weak spot and assaulted it with no mercy making Darnell whimper and moan into his ear.

When he didn't get a reply he popped her on her plump behind. "Do you understand?" Darnell bit her lip at the pain and pleasure of Don's love tap. "Yes."

"Yes who?"

Darnell sucked her teeth. "See now you doing too much." Darnell tried to pull away from Don's grip, but he held her in going back to her neck sucking on it leaving a purple and blue love mark. "Yes daddy."  Darnell moaned.

Don finally let her go watching as she took a couple of steps back with a look of annoyance on her face.

"See was that so hard?"

"Whatever we'll be in the pool when you come out."

"Aight"

Don made his way upstairs to change his clothes while Darnell headed outside with Kay in toe ready to jump into the pool. Darnell made sure that Kay and herself had sunscreen on not wanting to burn from the hot Georgia sun and that Kay had her life jacket on securely.

Darnell got into the pool allowing the warm water relax her back which was aching these last few weeks. Kay stayed out waiting for Darnell to be completely in before jumping in herself.

"Look mommy!" Kay ran and jumped into the pool not even waiting on Darnell to get into position to catch her.

Thankfully her life jacket kept her on top of the water as Darnell made her way over to her. "Ohh wow princess your a big girl now. Who taught you how to jump into the water like that?"

"Daddy" Kay said as she moved her wet curls from her face.

"Figures."

A couple of minutes later Don was coming out with his towel. He took off his slides before running towards the pool yelling. "Cannon Ball!!" Don jumped in making a huge splash causing the water wave and ripple all around the pool.

Immediately Don came up wiping his eyes from the water. Kay laughed and clapped. "Good job daddy." "Thank you princess." Don swam over to the two.

They all played in the pool splashing each other ,going down the slide, and playing Marco Polo.

An hour and a half layer the sun began to go down and all of them were starting to resemble prunes.

"I think it's time to go in now baby." Darnell made her way out the pull as Don and Kay huffed giving her their best sad faces.

"Nooo" Kay whined. "Yeah not yet mommy." Don imitated. Darnell laughed. "Nope y'all aren't changing my mind it's time to get washed up and have some dinner so we all can relax."

"Okay." The two said as they got out of the pool and drying off before heading into the house.

Darnell and Kay made their way up the stairs to take a bath while Don stayed down stairs ordering some food to eat for dinner since Darnell was too tired to even boil water.

"What you want mama?"

"Anything you get is fine."

"Aight"

Don pulled out his phone calling the local China Palace placing an order for the three. After getting his total and a wait time of 30 minutes, Don made his way to his bathroom in his mancave taking a shower and placing on some house clothes.

Don took his clothes to the laundry room separating them into their rightful baskets before checking on his two ladies.

Darnell and Kay were on there way out of the bathroom with their pajamas sets on with Darnell's stomach hanging out from the bottom of hers.

Don walked in and laughed. "You gonna have to get some new clothes ma cause you busting out." He said while rubbing on Darnell's stomach.

"It's your big headed son fault. I still got a while before he come and he keep getting bigger and bigger."

"That's why you need more clothes so y'all can be comfortable."

"It's no need for me to keep buying maternity clothes, that's all I'm going to have in my closet."

"Think of it as an investment for when you have our next child."

Darnell looked at Don as if he lost his mind. "Next child! I ain't even have this one yet and you planning for the next."

"Yep we can have them all back to back so we can get it over with."

"And how many of your big headed kids you think I'm gonna have Don?"

Don thought for a second. "Well I want 10 so."

"Oh hell naw you think I'm going to push nine babies out of vagina Don? You must be crazy." Darnell doubled over in laughter. If Don actually thought she was going to have nine kids he was crazy and need to be in a psych ward somewhere.

Darnell took Kay's hand leading her down the hall to the movie room. "When you come to your senses and the food gets here we'll be watching a movie in the media room."

Don opened the door paying the delivery man as he grabbed the to go boxes from his hand.

"Keep the change man."

"Thank you"

Don closed the door as the man retreated back to his car and drove off. Don made it up the stairs heading to the room where he heard Nemo being played.

"Foods here."

Darnell did her happy dance as she felt an overwhelming happiness because she was finally about to eat.

Don pulled out the food handing Darnell a plate of fried rice and rib tips and placing Kay's plate of fries and sweet and sour chicken in front of her after laying down a blanket under her. He took out his food which consisted of wings and fried rice and everyone waisted no time saying grace and devouring their food.

An hour later Darnell and Kay were knocked out laying with each other as the credits rolled. Don was able to stay up since he had the opportunity to return some emails regarding the club in Miami. As he was shacking Darnell up his phone began to ring.

He pulled it up checking who it was before answering it.

"Yo bro."

"What up Meer."

"Aye man we at the club right now you should come through bro."

Don thought for a minute. He had been working hard all week making sure he had everything in order and that Darnell and Kay was taken care of. Maybe sometime out with his best friend wasn't a bad idea and since he was going to be at the club, he could get some stuff squared away while he was there.

"Aight bro." He looked down at his watch checking the time. "I'll see you in like a hour."

"Thats what I'm talking bout Don. Aight one."

"One."

Don shook Darnell again this time waking her up. "Aye babe I gotta head to club for awhile, you gonna be good here?"

Darnell sucked her teeth. This wasn't the first time Don was leaving them in the house to go to the club to handle some "business". But she couldn't be mad, she knew that Don worked hard when it came to the club and she didn't want to hold her man back from having an successful business.

"Whatever Don just don't be gone for too long okay?"

"I got you ma."

Darnell got up stretching cleaning up the room before heading to her room. Don picked up a sleeping Kay putting her in their bed.

Darnell never liked sleeping by herself while Don was gone. She knew she would have to deal with Kay wanting to sleep with them in the future, but for right now Kay was all she had.

Don went into his closet pulling on a plain tee and Polo cargos with his Jordan's. He brushed his teeth and washed his face before brushing his hair, putting on his deodorant, and cologne. 

He kissed Darnell's lips then Kay's cheek before heading out the house and locking up. It was already 10:00 and he wasn't planning on staying out too long. All he needed was two drinks at the most and a couple of blunts and he was gonna be back at home with his family.

A whole bottle of Hennessy and 8 blunts later Don was gone. Darnell tried calling him several times trying to get in touch with him, but was sent to voicemail every time.

Once she woke up at 2:00 in the morning with Don nowhere in sight she started to worry. The last time he left and hadn't call was the night he got into the car accident.

Darnell prayed that that wasn't the predicament Don was in. What else could she do but worry, Don was suppose to be back home in their bed not out in the streets God knows where doing God knows what.

Deciding to call one last time Darnell was relieved when Don answered.

"Hello."

"Hello." Don yelled over the loud music into Darnell's ear.

"Don where are you?"

"Man can y'all shut the fuck up. I'm trying to talk to my fucking babies moms and y'all loud as fuck...damn." Do yelled at the group of men and woman who were in his VIP section. 

"My bad babe. What you say?"

Darnell was pissed. First of all Don said he was going to club to handle business not to get drunk and high.

"Don do I need to come and get you?"

"Naw. Why would you come here? I'm good." He said trying to convince himself more than Darnell.

"It don't sound li-" Darnell was cut off when she heard a female on the other side of the phone. "Don get off the phone so we can continue what we started."

Don shushed her. "Girl shut your ass up." He told her while mushing her head away.

Darnell was shocked at what she was hearing. Not only did he lie to her, but he had the nerve to have some hoe all over him while she was home with his daughter and carrying his son.

Darnell had enough of the whole situation as tears cascaded down her face. Not wanting to hear anymore she hung up and laid back down in bed.

She wasn't gonna stress her or her son out over Don's shit. But best believe when he got home, he was gonna hear her loud and clear.

"Hello....Hello." Darnell yelled over the phone, but it was too late Darnell was already gone.

"Fuck!!" Don yelled pushing the random hoe from his lap. He knew he had fucked up.
