Today was the day.Where we would catch Marco and bring him in.I couldn't wait!

"Yazzzzzzzzzzz".

I looked around.Carter.

I rolled my eyes.

"Whats up,Carter?"I asked,filing my papers.Stupid time scheme.

It was 3pm.Carter must of came from school.

He is so annoying.

Hes like a brother I never had.

Wait.

Ewww.

A brother doesn't stare at you like he wants to eat you.Not like food.

And he's  always trying to flirt with me.I swear I could say he likes me.

But nahh .

He doesn't.

"Can I help?With the case?"

"You already helped "I looked at him,curiously.

He shrugged.

"I meant like me being there with you guys to get Marco"Carter replied.

I shook my head,furiously.

"What!?! No.Are you crazy?I'm not trying to get anybody killed!"

Carter smirked."You care about me"

I sighed."Of course I do.Your a kid who gets in trouble all the time.Its my job to care"I said,lying sort of.

I mean just cause he gets in trouble doesn't mean I have to care.But y'know whatever.I don't care.

"Okay."Carter smiled.

I rolled my eyes,holding back a grin.

"So,what's the plan?"

"Okay M has entered the building"I whispered.

It was exactly 8:47.I was standing close to the back entrance where Marco has entered.

"M?"Carter snickered.I can't believe I made him come.He's so annoying.

"Its a code name.Now shut up."

Carter raised his eyebrows.
"Thats a bad code name"

I sighed."Look Mister-"

Carter covered my mouth with his hands.

"He came out."Carter tip-toed towards the back door.

"Carter!Get back here!Carter!Ugh!"I ran after him but then I tripped.

Ow.

"Yasmin!"Carter sighed and ran back for me.

"Carter.What were you thinking?He could have got you! "I let Carter pull me up.He had big hands.

"What makes you think that I haven't already?"

I looked up.Marco.
