Melanie's Point of View

You ever feel like the stars aligned just for you? It's so rare, but when it does nothing can go wrong. That's what last night was. I had no idea where I got that confidence from, but I wouldn't take anything back. He was so sweet and gentle with me. Something I had never experienced before. I turned to my right to see Mr. Archer sleeping on his stomach with one arm draped around me and his mouth slightly open. I hated snoring but his small baby snores sounded like heaven. I slowly removed his hand from my waist and made my way to the bathroom ignoring the aching between my legs. I regretfully scrubbed his scent off me and started breakfast.

"You woke up without me." Ethan said while burying his head in my neck.

"Well I didn't want to disrupt you and everything. Damn it Ethan put some clothes on before you poke someones eye out." He was chasing me around my apartment as naked as the day his mama pushed him out.

"You've already seen everything anyway." He grabbed me and held me close. "Thank you for finally trusting me. That's all I ever needed from you." He held me and rocked me back and forth. Normally I'd be annoyed that a wild penis was rubbing on my leg but I could get used to this.

"I don't have to work today. Let's just sit back and watch Netflix."

"I'd like that." He made me better. He made me want to live my life for me and stop hiding my shame. He was a real blessing in disguise. He stayed almost all day and went back to his apartment. Part of me wanted to cry out and beg him to stay but the other half kept telling me that I'd never be good enough. I think it's time I silenced the latter.
