"Are you sure about this?" I ask Sarah.

"That's the theme, we have to stick by it," she shrugs.

Her family is quite unique with themes for their family reunion each year.

"I look like some wannabe Greek Goddess," I tell her.

My hair was curled and I'm wearing a thin white dress with two slits.

"You look beautiful," she smiles.

The theme is between Greek Goddesses and Formal ball.

Suits and ties for the guys and white dresses for the women.

"Why does your family reunion always have to be this fancy," I sigh.

"Because my grandparents are rich snobs," she laughs.

She has a short white dress on and her hair is pin straight.

"Well, at least there's Champagne," I laugh.

"That we're not allowed to touch, but still will in anyway," she grins.

"Flower crowns," she says, holding up two flower crowns.

"I'll take the one with the longs strips on the back," I inform her, since I'm aware she doesn't really like flower crowns and will most likely take them off within the first ten minutes.

"Okay, let's head to the venue," she groans.

"Zac told me that he'll be meeting us there," I tell her and she nods.

Half an hour drive goes by and next thing I know I'm in a fancy looking courthouse.

The floor exists of the greenest grass I've ever seen and there are a few pillars that have overgrown plants growing on them.

"This place is beautiful," I tell Sarah.

"Only the best for Grandma Rose," she mocks her mother's voice.

Shaking my head I walk over to the big table with the Champagne tower.

"I keep forgetting how rich your Grandma is," I shake my head, taking a glass of Champagne.

"Care for a dance?" A voice speaks behind us.

I turn around, met with a blonde haired boy.

"Sure," Sarah says sheepishly.

"I'll introduce him later," She tells me and I nod.

She takes his hand and they move to the ballroom.

The music is classical and the people here look very professional.

I sip on my Champagne as I look around for Zac, but he is nowhere yo be found.

I check my phone to see if he had texted me, but I found nothing.

A few minutes later, Sarah returns.

"So, this is Emma," she smiles.

"Emma, this is Dean," she smiles.

"Nice to meet you, Dean," I smile, shaking his hand.

"Likewise," he returns the smile.

"Has Zac arrived yet?" She asks me.

"Nope, I think something must have come up," I say.

"My grandma wants everyone to be in the ballroom in five minutes," She says and we all head to the ballroom.

The room is big and the music here is louder.

The violin and piano makes a very soothing sound as everyone dances with the melody of the song.

A few minutes later the music dims and Sarah's grandmother appears on the stairs.

"Thank you all for coming tonight, this is the biggest family reunion yet," she smiles widely.

Her dress looks far more expensive than anyone else's.

As she continues her speech, I see Dean and Sarha having their own private conversation.

I smile at them, knowing how smothered she is.

When everyone starts to clap, I avert my attention back to Grandma Rose and she's on her way down the stairs.

I excuse myself and make my way back for a second glass of Champagne.
