"There you go, Pumpkin," my dad smiles, taking my last bag out of his car.

"I'm going to miss your annoying ass," I ruffle Sam's hair.

"And take nice care of my car," I glare at him.

"Yes ma'am," he grins.

I hug him tightly and ruffle his hair again once he pulls away.

I turn around and hug my dad.

"Take care, Kiddo," he laughs.

I grab my bags and watch as they both get into his car.

I smile and wave as the car pulls away and drives off, leaving me in front of the airport.

When I walk in, I check the time, seeing that I have ten minutes left.

My eye catches the back of someone's head.

Zac?

I blink a few time, but when the person turns around, it doesn't look like him at all.

I realize that I've stopped in my tracks and I feel embarrassed.

When I look around, I'm in luck, since no one saw me stopping in the middle of the airport, staring at some random person.

I carry on walking and soon enough, I board the plane.

The guy from the airport that looked like Zac, is sitting a few seats in front on the other side of the isle.

I try to tell myself that it isn't him, that I saw it wasn't him, but I  wish it was.

Sighing in defeat, I look out the window.

But every now and then my eyes dart back to his head.

I still haven't figured out what I'm supposed to do with the fact that Zac was doing underground boxing.

Ignore it?

Forget about him?

Looking around I see an old lady take a seat next to me.

I give her a small smile when she looks at me.

"You remind me of my grandaughter," she says.

I let out  small laugh.

"What makes me remind you of her?" I ask.

"Your smile, she also has big cheeks and two dimples like you," she laughs.

Her smile makes me smile.

The rest of the flight to Los Angles, I listen to her speak about stories from all her years when she was my age.

"I also met my husband when I was you're age," she smiles.

"How did you meet?" I ask.

"He and I went to the same school and we went to same art class, but he was much better with the paint brushes than I was," she replies.

"As soon as I met him, I knew he was the one and even though we had a huge fight and didn't see one another for a year, we met again and just two years later, we got married," she smiles at the memory.

"Oh, looks like we've landed," she chuckles and stand a up.

"Thank you, Betty," I have learned her name to be.

"You're welcome, Emily," she smiles.

"Emma," I inform her.

"Oh, my grandaughter's name was Emily, I'm sorry," she laughs.

When we part ways I soon find myself in a cab.

I smile realizing that once Betty had sat next to me, I forgot about the guy in the plane.

"We're here," the cab driver says.

I hand him the amount I owe him for the drive, then walk over to the trunk of the car, taking out all my bags.

I watch the cab driver leave and soon I'm left at the curb, infornt I the entrance to UCLA.

Smiling at the fresh start, I walk in.
