"I can't believe we've been hiking for four hours," Sarah whines.

If there's one thing she hates more than waking up early, it's hiking.

"We're on our way back," I shrug.

We're currently walking down a very narrow path, we are far behind the others in our grade, because Sarah's very slow.

"I'm going to go ahead," I say and Zac joins me.

"I'm sorry," he says once we're far in front of the others.

"For?" I ask.

"I've been an asshole towards you without even realizing it," he says.

"Yeah, I know," I nod.

"Hey, I'm apologizing here," he nudges me softly.

Rolling my eyes, I can't fight the smile that's appearing on my face.

"Do go on," I shift my gaze to the floor, a smile playing op my lips.

"I-I don't know okay? I don't know how to apologize properly," he sighs.

Chuckling at him, I turn to him and hug him.

"I forgive you," I tell him as I pull away.

"You do?" He asks.

"Yes, but as soon as you're becoming an asshole again, I'm not going to let it go so easily," I warn as we continue down the narrow path.

A few minutes later we're back at the camp site and its almost four pm and we have to collect our things and get going.

We all stride towards the spot where we camped and I grab my suitcase and the boys take the tents to the cabin where they previously were.

"Can you believe that this wasn't as bad as we thought," Sarah says and I nod.

"But you did complain about Zac at the camp," her eyes light up.

"Oh shit," I sigh.

"I'll give you that fifty backs on Monday," I shake my head.

When the guys return, we take our bags and suitcases to the bus.

"What a trip!" Edward exclaims as we take our seats on the bus.

We sat on the same place we sat when we were driving here, which means I'm stuck with Zac again.

He better not be a asshole the way back

I open my bag and look for some snacks I brought for the way here, but didn't eat.

I take out a bag of chips and munch on them.

"Oh, my favourite," Zac smirks and grabs a few chips out of te bag.

Glaring at him, I decide to stay silent and share the chips with him.

"Thanks, Cupcake," he grins after finishing the bag of chips.

Laughing at him I put in my earphones and try to fall asleep.

There's no way in hell that I'm listening to Zac for more than an hour

***

"Wake up, Cupcake."

"There's cupcakes?" I ask, fluttering my eyes open.

"Oh, I forgot I was in this shithole with you," I grumble and I remove the earphone.

"What happened to my other earphone?" I mumble.

"Oh," I sigh as I see Zac grining at me with the other earphone in his ear.

"We're almost here," he tells me and I look out the window.

"Oh how I've missed the rest of humanity," I groan as I see the school in sight.

When the bus comes to a halt, we all step out and look for our parents.

I look around, suitcase in hand and try to find my father's car.

"See you guys on Monday," Sarah yawns, giving us each a hug and goes to her mother's car.

Zac has disappeared, Jake also said his goodbyes and Edward is still looking for his car.

"Oh, there it is," Edward points to his mother's car.

I give him a hug goodbye and continue to look for the car.

That's when I spot my car with my stupid brother in it.

"Look how dirty you made her!" I shout, motioning to my car.

He gives me a sheepish laugh and looks the other way.

I place my bags in the trunk and knock on the window,  where he's currently sitting at.

"Get out of my car now," I say through gritted teeth and he climbs out.

"Here," he says handing me my keys.

When I'm seated in the driver's seat, I see Starbuck cups everywhere along with dirty clothes.

"I don't even what to ask about the dirty clothes," I huff and immediately head to the car wash.

"I hope you know you're paying," I glare at Sam.

"Figured."
