I hear my bedroom door open and I watch J.J. come into my room, so I sit up and look at my clock, its 9:00 p.m. I had been in bed only twenty minutes.

"Hey, were you sleeping?" He whistlers.

"No, not yet. What's up?"

"Well there's a fight tonight. So, that means there will be a huge party at the frat house tonight." He says. "You coming or what, cuz?"

"Yeah sure, let me throw some clothes on. I'll be out in a minute." I say.

I get up as J.J. shuts the door and go to my closet for a pair of dark skinny jeans and a red v-neck tee. I leave my hair down and don't wear much make up. I put on my black converse shoes and leave my room.

I hear a few guys talking in the living room so I walk there. I see Logan, Luke and J.J. sitting around the room.

"Ready, wifey?" Logan asks.

"Yep." I answer.

"Let's roll then, I want time to place a bet with James. Plus, it's going to be crazy! The fight is last minute and its Trevor fucking Casey." Logan states, excitedly.

"Maddox always fights last minute." Luke says. "But this should be really good. Trevor is a golden gloves winner. I mean, he killed Marcus Lucca in the ring last time."

Maddox, the guy with purple eyes, fights? What kind of fighting? Following the boys, we go outside and the boys start getting in a black BMW which I think belongs to Logan because he's got the car keys.

"Hadley gets shotgun." Logan states.

J.J. groans and Luke just says, "She still likes me better, pretty boy."

As we leave I ask, "So, Where's this fight at? Do we have tickets?"

I look at Logan and he's chuckling and J.J. and Luke are laughing. Logan must have seen my confusion because he stopped and looked at me trying to gauge my reaction as he said, "It's not a legal fight and it's being fought on campus in one of the older buildings."

I didn't know what to say, I didn't want to get into any trouble and I don't understand why Maddox would be fighting anyone in an illegal fight.

"I don't want to get into any trouble on my first day here." I turn, looking at J.J.

"Hadley, it'll be fine. James, the guy who runs 'the ring', pays off the guards and there's only a select group of people that know about the fights. I promise you won't get in trouble." J.J. reassure's me.

As we pull into a dimly lit parking lot, Logan stops the car and we all get out. It's really quiet and I start to think they got the wrong place. I'm nervous. On one hand, I don't like the idea of seeing Maddox fighting but on the other, I want to see him again. Logan comes around to my side and takes my hand. I look up at him, he really is very good looking with short dark brown hair and blue eyes that always seem happy.

"Whatever you do, stay with me or J.J. at all times, the crowd can get really rowdy. Especially, when Maddox wins." Logan warns me. I didn't even think about the danger being in a crowd of guys wanting to see a fight. I shouldn't be here but I'm starting to get excited. Logan seems to think Maddox will win and I really want to see him smile.
