I dropped down to the floor, hearing bullets zip through the air above me.

"Are you okay!" I heard Clayton yell.

"Yeah!" I replied along with every one else.

"Crawl to the hallway!" I screamed and started army crawling over to my room.

I saw the others coming in behind me and I kicked open my door. I motioned for them to follow me.

Once they were all inside I kicked the door shut with my foot.

I hopped up off the ground and dusted off my hands.

"What the hell?" Clayton said as he inspected the wall I shared with the living room.

"Two inches of re-enforced bullet proof steel. " I told him as I plucked a frame off the wall that cover a hole that showed its metal intereior.

"It's in the walls and doors of Elliot's and my rooms. And when there's gun fire Elliot's room locks automatically." I added as I started walking to the other side of the room.

I stopped at my 'closet' door and pulled up a hatch, I bent down and pressed a button, after the little rays of light finished scanning my eye I heard a click, telling me the door was unlocked.

I pushed open the door and flicked on the light.

I heard the people who had gathered behind me gasp at the interior.

My walls were lined with weapons, guns, knives, swords (don't ask) and the shelves were filled with ammo, silencers, sheathes, holsters, ladders and ropes.

I'm prepared for anything.

I stepped in my 'weapon locker', which my good friend Zeke named it.

I ran my finger along the row of guns, leaving a clean trail where the dust had been swiped up by my finger.

I picked my weapon of choice, checked to make sure that it was loaded and turned around.

"Wait is that-" Austin began with wide eyes.

"The Peacekeeper from Black ops 2, yes it is." I said proudly as I looked at my special made gun.

"How?" he asked again.

I shrugged. "I know a guy."

"Okay, why the hell do you have all this shit." Easton demanded, finally speaking up.

"Protection." I replied simply as I picked up a set of throwing knifes.

"No, you have a pistol in a safe for protection, not an arms department." he said and I turned to him.

"Okay, so maybe, just maybe this has happened before." I muttered as I swiped up my machete and heat vision goggles.

"Okay! Grab your weapons!" I yelled before he could reply I was out the door.

I heard them yelling for me to come back but I slid down behind my fire place and held my gun to me.

The bullets began to cease as they reloaded and I took there temporary moment of weakness to my advantage.

I flicked on my goggles and I saw there were ten men fiddling with their guns and smirked.

I aimed my gun and took down three guys, the others we're now finished loading their guns and were starting to shoot back.

About five of them busted through the door and I dropped to the ground, I crawled to the wall behind them and managed to shoot two of them. The others turned and aimed their guns at me.

I shook my gun and realized I was out of bullets, I kicked the gun out of the first mans hand and grabbed it off the floor. I round kicked him in the face between his cheek and chin, effectively knocking him out.

I heard a bang and felt a searing pain in my side, I reached for it and saw the blood covering my fingers, I was shot.

I turned and glared at the man whose eyes widened as he saw I was still standing. I kicked in his knees and and grabbed his head in my hands and snapped it to the side.

He fell still on the floor and I heard the engines of a car out side and two more shots fired before silence.

I heard somebody shouting my name but they sounded far away as I fell to the floor and let darkness consume me.

~~~~~~~~~~
"Jessica." A distant voice called.
"Jessica." It said again.
"JESSICA LEE WESTLAKE!" It yelled and my eyes snapped open and I shot up.
I automatically got in a fight in stance and surveyed my surroundings.
I relaxed when I saw it was just Zeke.
"What the hell?" I questioned as he smirked.
"You got shot, again." He said and I looked down at my side, seeing a bandage taped to my lower stomach.
The events from last night came flooding back to me and I grimaced.
"Is Elliot ok?" I asked and Zeke nodded.
"Still as bubbly as ever." he told me and I smiled but then sighed.
"The apartment-" I started but Zeke cut me off.
"Is repaired." He finished.
I furrowed my eyebrows and spoke. "How?"
"Your little friend Clayton has a lot of connections." He smirked and u gawked at him.
"He fixed my apartment?" I pressed, still not entirely believing that he would pay to fix my apartment.
Maybe because he thinks your parents would be mad. My conscience said and I internally smacked myself.
"Yeah, you know he also said that they were staying there until your parents came back." He continued with a raised eyebrow and his arms crossed across his chest.
"Why didn't you tell them?" he asked, looking directly at me to try and find out why.
"I can't trust them." I replied simply and went to the door.
"You'll have to let somebody in, they're not all like Sa-"
"Don't say his name." I hissed and walked out the door of the bed room, slamming the so hard I could feel the floor vibrating.
I grabbed my car keys off the hook and got in my car, driving away from those big houses in the suburbs and back to my apartment.
I continued down the highway, gripping the steering so tightly my knuckled turned white.
I saw a familiar brick building and hesitated.
Should I?
I switched lanes and drove off the freeway, turned and stopped my car.
I changed into my normal attire, my black wig and green contacts on, I grabbed my duffle bag and started inside.
"I need a fight." I told the man at the front.
He whipped around at looked my up and down.
"Well well, if it isn't Black lightning."
