I awoke to Blu's hair all in my face and smiled. I'm going to do right by her and I'm going to start by talking to Cameron and just trying to be as civil as possible with him despite how I feel about their friendship. I gently lifted her head off my chest trying not to wake her. So much for that.

"Mhm..." She moaned sweetly without moving her lips. I smiled at her before leaning to kiss her forehead. "Good morning." I said to her as she yawned. "Where are you off to?" She asked me and I shook my head.

"Nowhere important." I said back smiling as she got out of bed and ready to take a shower.

"Good, because we're going surfing today!" She exclaimed back excitedly kissing my cheek and running off to get ready.

An hour later we were well on our way. I had my board and I was waxing it and getting it ready when Cameron and Vance showed up. Blu hugged them both in a greeting and showed them their boards. Our instructor started to go over fundamentals. Blu doesn't know, but I'm a really good surfer. The instructor knows nothing, she's teaching us the doggy paddle which I learned when I was 2.

"Matthew, at least look interested." Blu said jokingly nudging my shoulder. "I'm sorry, it's just I know how to surf like real waves, baby." I said laughing as Blu came closer to me. "I'm a little out of it too, you know." She spoke as her eyes wondered letting me know something's up.

"What's bothering you?" She shrugged and pulled me away from Cameron and his friend.

"Them." She said. "I was planning on talking to Cameron about what I saw. And not to hurt his feelings, but to be honest and maybe be nicer to him for you." I said as she smiled at me,

"That's my boy. He deserves to know. I don't want him to get attached, so maybe it is better he knows now."

"Do you feel any better now knowing you don't have to keep a secret?" I asked her and she grinned wildly. "Most definitely."

"Good, let's get you back to doggy paddle training." I said making her laugh. "Hush or show me your great surfer ways. Then you can talk crap." She said back as I headed toward the ocean.

"Prepare to be amazed." I yelled to her as I dove under a little wave and paddled out. I saw a killer wave coming and I knew it was heaven sent. I prepared to lift up and immediately I was coasting as the water rippled up and down. I crashed near the end and had to catch my breath. I came up for air and all I could hear was Blu's applause and whistling.

We were getting dressed for the luau that Blu had scheduled us for. She seemed so excited about it all, so I decided to have her happy attitude about it too. Pepper and Rickey are supposed to be flying in tonight, so nothing should go to wrong except for my talk I was going to have with Cameron which would hopefully end with a good explanation from Vance and everything would just go along.

"Ready baby?" I yelled at her through the bathroom door. She swung it open and of course she took my breath away with her stunning face. "Do I look okay?" She asked self consciously making me want to shake her and tell her how beautiful she was.

"You look better than...okay. You...you're perfect. Let's go before we never make it." I said grabbing her arm and leading her out while she laughed.

"You're so silly. I don't even look that good." She said back and I laughed. "Say one more dumb thing and I swear we're going to fight." I said joking with her as we walked down to the dinner. Cameron and Vance had already made it down and dinner had already been served, so ours sat in front of us waiting when we got there.

"Cameron, can we talk?" I asked after we'd all eaten and Vance and Blu looked preoccupied by the dancers. "Yeah...sure." He said to me skeptically. We walked to the bar which wasn't far, but far enough for us to have a conversation and not be seen or heard.

"I know I haven't been the nicest guy even though you've been nothing but a great friend to Blu. I'm doing this for her and I just want a clean slate. I'm not going to be an arrogant dick anymore when you're around. I'll be civil and I never properly thanked you for the first day of school. Blu wouldn't have been able to do it alone and I'm glad you were there for her." I spoke to him as he watched me say very word.

"I never thought this day would come." He said as I stared out at Vance and debated on my next words. "Also, I thought I should warn you...I saw Vance with a girl the other night at the bar." I added and I turned to see a tiny tear escape his eyes. I'm not good with emotions and if he cries this will just be weird.

"I'm sure it was nothing though." I said back trying to calm down the atmosphere and he shook his head violently. "No, we've already had fights about this. No, if he was on a girl. It was something. I really liked him. I just cant believe he'd..." He replied unable to form words and he reached out and hugged me. My whole body tensed up.

"I'm grateful that you at least told me. I'm upset, but it's barely a loss. I knew you weren't that bad. I know you have Blu, but I swear I see you look at me how I've looked at you." He said as he reached up to come near my face. I leaned back and punched him dead in his cheek. His head hit the bar and everyone around stared in shock and disbelief.

"I'm not that way, Cameron. I don't judge you. I know you have a lot to deal with, but never ever try to come near my face with your own again! You're sick for doing this & claiming to be Blu's friend." He cupped his cheek in his hand. "I don't know what came over me. I just...you remind me of one of my exes who couldn't come out and you looked so good on the beach today. I'm-I, sorry." He exclaimed.

"I'm dating Blu...your best fucking friend. You're dumb as hell if you even thought for a split second I was...I'm not going to say it, but you know and I'm not telling Blu about this shit either. She likes you as a friend and I'll be damned if I'm the one to screw it up. You're going to tell her about how you fucked up. She has a tough time finding friends altogether." I said to him as I walked away livid.

I sat down in my chair as Blu turned to smile at me. She leaned her head back on my chest and I slowly stroked her hair and I grew angrier when Cameron came back to sit and acted as if nothing happened. I changed my mind. I'm going to tell her myself and she can talk to him about it.

"Blu, we need to go. I need to talk to you about Cameron now." I whispered in her ear as she stood up and smoothed out her tight little sundress. I grabbed her drink for her and we left without saying goodbye.

I closed our bedroom door and sighed.

"I think Cameron might have a crush on me." I said to her and she laughed. "I know your ego is out there, but I never thought you'd say something so ridiculous." She spoke thinking I was joking.

"He tried to kiss me." I said staring her dead in her eye. She didn't speak for a few minutes. "He wouldn't." She said back to me in shock and it broke my heart. "I'm sorry. I wasn't going to tell you. I wanted him too, but I couldn't keep this from you. I just felt wrong." I said to her as she cried.

"This trip was for relaxation and now I have to deal with this shit." She cried to me. I heard a soft knock on the door and Cameron stood in the door frame with tears in his eyes again.

"Can I talk to Sky?" He asked and I turned to look at her and she nodded.

"Don't try to kiss her or you'll get worse than a punch to the face." I said to him as I stepped out and he went in.

Blu

"I'm so fucking sorry. I don't know what came over me. I was a little drunk, but I don't find him attractive at all. He's yours and I'm so sorry I ever even let the thought form in my head that it would be okay." Cameron pleaded with me, but I honestly wanted to kill him.

"Shut up. I'm such a nice person and it's people like you who make it hard to trust people. I love that boy and I poured my heart out to you about how he made me feel and I trusted you to never ever even look at him in that way. You were my best friend, Cameron. The only one I had and even drunk you should know that's unacceptable." I said to him as he cried softly making me sick. I should be crying. He betrayed me.

"I'm getting on the next flight home and I'll change my room from Matthew's and find another roommate. I just want to be your friend and you can trust me. I just messed up. I'm sick in the head for it, I know. I love us though. Our friendship." He said.

"You're going home, changing your dorm, and you'll never be hearing from me again. I can't trust you. I'm sorry, but I'm not. You should've thought of this before you tried to kiss my boyfriend." I said as he stood and walked out. Matthew came in a second later and held me in his strong arms.

"People's actions kill me sometimes...like why?"

I awoke to a curious set of eyes watching me. "Everything okay?" He asked me when he realized I was awake.

"Yeah, just a little weirded out by it all." I replied to him and he laughed. "Same here." He said and I remembered he was the one who was almost kissed. "I'm sorry, you know." I said to him as he hugged me.

"Don't be. You didn't know he even was gay until the trip began." He said falling back on the bed with me on top of him. "I know, but you always sense vibes from people and I should just listen to you more and take into consideration what you say." I said as he kissed my fore head while stroking my hair.

''No I'm just a selfish ass guy who never wants to see a guy around you, you have good instincts too. He wasn't a bad friend to you. He just made a huge mistake." Matthew said and I laughed. ''Now you defend him and you're being nice." I said as he smiled.

"Enough talk about all that." He replied leaning in to kiss me as two familiar souls burst through our door. Pepper shrieked and Rickey laughed.

"I didn't know. I'm sorry I'll leave." Pepper said hectically and me and Matthew burst out laughing. "If you uncover your eyes you'll see us fully dressed and realize we were just on top of each other and doing nothing, but talking and maybe a lil' kissing, nothing you and my brother haven't gotten into." I said making her blush and him wipe his lips and seeing her lip stick rub off on his hand. Caught.

"Get over here." I said to the both of them and engulfed them in a big group hug, "I missed you, but not so much your mouth." Pepper said making me smile.

"Missed you too Pep, we have some catching up to do." I said as Matthew just sat and waved at them both. "We're going to settle into our rooms, but we can meet up on the beach in a few hours." She suggested and we all agreed it was a good deal.
