My belongings collapsed to the ground as I was gently pushed against a locker. He held me still and in place with one hand on my waist. My instincts to fight him just weren't there for some reason. I waited on him to move first.

His lips pressed harshly against mine, I reacted by wrapping my hands around his neck pulling him. He lifted me up against the locker and I twisted my legs around his waist. He trailed kisses down my collarbone.

I let a tear fall and somehow he felt it. He looked up and stopped to kiss it away. He set me down and pushed me back against the locker, one hand around my waist holding me, so I couldn't run away like I wanted to.

"We are just so fucked up. Why would you say such hurtful things to me and then kiss me in a hallway? What the hell is wrong with you?! You are jealous, yet you act like you couldn't give two fucks about me. You could have even tried harder because when I say go away. You know I never mean it!" I cried and he didn't make a peep just watched my lips say every word.

"I've never had a girlfriend, Blu. I don't know anything. You know I didn't mean any of it. I did it for you." He retorted back.

"How, huh? I wouldn't know anything. You say and do all this shit to me. You're just playing with my emotions. It's selfish for you to walk out of my life and not let me have a say!" I said and I hit his chest repeatedly letting the tears fall. He just let me bang my tiny little fist against him. He pulled them away and lifted them above my head.

"I did it because you will never understand me. We are too different. I don't want to be your disappointment." He said so quietly in my ear, probably hoping I didn't hear him.

He wrapped his arms around me pulling me in for a tight hug. My sobs raking his chest making us both shake. I couldn't contain myself. He just rubbed my back soothingly.

"For you to have never dated anyone. You are perfect at it." I spoke softly as I looked into his eyes.

"I didn't mean that bullshit. I think of the first thing to hurt you. I can't promise you I'll always do right by you, but I can promise you that I'll try my very best and when you are done with me for good I'll try my best to stay away, but from now on its your call." He said and I wanted to say yes, but it's inevitable we will end up like this again.

"I'll talk to you later." I said as I grabbed my belongings and tried to speed away. "Blu!" He yelled.

"What?" I sighed trying to get out of this hallway filled with my emotions.

"You forgot something." He said and I sighed again. "What?" He is wasting my time and trying to make me give in.

"Your heart and me." He said making a joke. I smiled. "Well I'm sure it's a package deal. Put it back on the shelf and I'll think about it." I shot back and I was gone faster than you can say molasses.

I got in my car and drove as quickly away from this hell hole as possible. I called the one friend I knew had my back and always brought the right icecream, Pepper.

"Hey baby girl!" She squeezed me tight in a hug. I haven't seen her in about a week. She always knew when I'd been crying even if I made my makeup look decent again after my fits.

"Hey Pepper!" I sighed in her embrace. She was a safe haven of mine. "We obviously need to talk. I also heard you haven't called VS back about that modeling gig!" She said and I laughed.

"I want to do it, I made my mind up last night I just forgot to call them, plus I haven't even told Matt-." I said stopping myself from saying his name.

"You didn't tell him! Sky, you'll be out of school for two months to do the VS show! Is that why you're all Lady Gaga eyes?!" She asked and I laughed.

"No, we got in a fight and then today he was being sweet. He kissed me in the hall and he tried talking, but it felt so real. I'm still mad, though. He will not play with my emotions!" I yelled and Pepper laughed.

"I love him already." She spoke and I huffed.

"What are you talking about Pepper?" I asked and she laughed again while scooping the icecream.

"He's perfect for you and in return your perfect for him. He obviously sucks at expressing his feelings, because I know you and you'd take him back in a split second if he'd said the right thing, you'd be under him like a key and a rug." She said and I laughed at her awful analogy.

"No Pepper, I don't know, maybe." I mumbled and she just shrugged her shoulders.

"Follow your heart." She said and I let those three words settle in. You don't have to have a failing relationship like your parents, you love the boy, just go to him.

I kissed Pepper's cheek and told her I'd be back. She shook her head. I grabbed my keys and drove 10 miles over the speed limit to the cabin.

There he was working on his sports car, looking heavenly as always even covered in grime.

I jumped out the car and he walked out of his garage and stood against the sidebar. I ran to him and jumped up into his arms. His tan skin glowing as the sun beamed down.

I kissed him whilst smiling and grabbed his face between my hands.

"I'm going to follow my heart and this relationship is my heart. I love you with every bean in me. This is what I want and I'll be damned if I let a fight break us apart." I spilled my guts and he laughed, delighted.

"Bean?" He questioned and I giggled.

"Yes bean, it's apart of my dictionary." I said and he rolled his gorgeous eyes. I jumped down and grabbed his hand.

"You're my bean." He said mocking my favorite Grey's quote "You're my person."-Meredith Grey.

"Yeah that works!" We both laughed.

"You said you love me?" He said and I shook my head. "I don't expect it back, but yes, I love you." I spoke.

"We need to talk though." I said changing the topic and he sighed. "You know I suck at that, but go ahead." He huffed and I giggled, while I ruffled his hair.

"I've been offered a VS modeling contract!" I screeched and I could tell he didn't even know what that was, but he sounded excited.

"That's awesome babe, but I'm sure there is a downside, so hit me with it." He shot and my heart ached.

"I won't be here for November. I have to fly out and shoot the show. I stop school in October, but I'll be back by the second week of December." I said and I felt him hug me again.

"Why dwell on the future when we've got now?" He said kissing my forehead.

"That's the most positive thing I've heard fall from those lips of yours." I said and he grinned.

"They can also do more things." He retorted quirking his eyebrows. "Show me something." I said and he surely did.

I moaned quietly as he pressed himself against me. He smiled under me. My phone rang 10 seconds later. We both groaned, but it could be anybody.

"Hey Mark, I'll have the contracts signed right away. I can't wait. It's been such a big dream of mine." I replied and deep down it had. I'd just gotten caught up in a future that wasn't realistic for Katie Sparks.

"Babe, everything okay?" He asked and I kissed him. "Yeah, I just have to run home. Do you want to go?" I said and he obliged. "Let me take a shower before I go around royalty." He said making me mad.

"Stop with that. We aren't royalty." I said and he shook his head.

"Your fucking name is carved in that little fountain around your huge driveway. That seems pretty royal to me." He shot back and walked off. I laughed and grabbed a soda out his fridge.

He came out, wet hair slinging and his rock hard abs glistened just like in the movies. He threw on his usual shirt and black jeans. We drove all the way back to my place.

In the driveway, my mothers car along with Pepper's sat. I rounded a corner in my house and they stood in the kitchen, fighting.

Their voices muffled.

"She deserves better. I should have done something earlier." I heard Pepper said followed by a loud smack.

I chose that moment to enter the kitchen hand-in-hand with Matthew. Pepper and my mother glanced at me.

"Did I interrupt?" I asked and Pepper shook her head. "No, do you want to go up to your room and finish talking?" She asked and I grabbed my water.

"Will you be okay, here?" I asked Matthew.

"No, he can come too." She said, I glanced at my mother who was fuming.

We all headed upstairs leaving my mother. Pepper sat down on my sofa and Matthew sprawled himself across my comforter, grabbing my stuffed bear and tossed it up and down.

"What the hell was that Pepper?" I said and she just shook her head. "You know I'd never keep anything from you, but this is one I have too. Please, just put it to rest." She sighed and I obliged for her sake.

"What have you been up to this week other than fighting with that stud?" She said lightening the mood and boosting Matthew's ego.

"I got my belly button pierced!" I squealed. It's just gotten more beautiful over these last few days. "Sky-Blu Waters! Let me see it!" I lifted my shirt and she gawked. I laughed.

"I know it's like perfect and I didn't even get to pay for it." I huffed and Matthew ignored me.

"Pepper you should really talk to her about letting her boyfriend spoil her. I hate having to fight her!" He said making us both laugh.

"Oh shut up!" I yelled and my mother entered my room.

"Pepper, I need to talk to Sky privately, do you mind leaving?" My mother asked in a clipped tone letting Pepper know she better leave now.

"See you later, precious girl! Goodbye, stud muffin!" She yelled at Matthew, he winked her way. I laughed and hugged her. She whispered "Call me." in my ear and I promised too.

Blu's mom and that attitude...no mam. at least Matthew and Blu made up, yay
