"Sky-Blu, fire her! I mean it and don't fight me on it!" My mother yelled at me furiously. She's lost her mind. We had been going back and forth for at least 10 minutes about Pepper.

"For God sakes Mom! She gives more of a damn about me than you and dad combined! I will not fire her!" I screamed back and watched her facial expression change. Matthew stayed quiet with his eyes intently thinking. I'm surprised he hasn't gotten up and yelled for her to leave or at me for being rude to her.

"You also won't be modeling at the Victoria Secret Fashion Show. Your father nor I knew about it and that's our job." She said and I scoffed at her while crossing my arms.

"People dream of modeling in that show! I'm not giving it up! I'm 18 going on 19! I'm so tired of you telling me how to live my life. Please hop off my back for once!" I yelled back and she just laughed at me.

"Hop off? Who are you? I'm your mother you do as I say!" She said and I was at my breaking point. I screamed. It rang through my ears.

It was piercing and resonated throughout the house. My mother stood with a wide open mouth. I felt Matthew wrap his arms around me.

"Get her out of my room, before I kill her!" I yelled furious. She walked out slamming my door behind her. Matthew spun me around quickly.

"Blu, what the hell! Your family is fucking crazy." He spoke and I just stood there with a burning throat, tears escaping my eyes.

"I'm sorry, I'm just fed up and done with the bullshit. I didn't know what to do. Screaming felt like a good idea at the time." I said in a hoarse voice.

"Don't talk baby. Are you going to fire her?" He asked and I shook my head furiously.

"To hell with my mother. I will not fire Pepper!" I yelled. He stepped closer to me.

"What did I tell you?"

I sighed and zipped my lips, placing the key in his hand. He chuckled at my silly gesture.

"Good, now come here." He said pulling me down with him. He spooned me whilst kissing the back of my head.
"You can't do that Blu. I know what it's like to lose connection with your family. You won't be able to handle it." He said and I just sighed keeping my promise of silence.

He kissed my forehead softly and I finally spoke. "Can we at least leave? I don't want to be here." I replied and he shook his head grabbing my keys.

"I'll be in the car. Grab your things." He said and I packed a small bag. I ignored my moms' call. I immediately dialed Pepper.

"She wants me to fire you!" I yelled and Matthew ran his hand along my thigh, calming me.

"It's fine, Sky. She's a bitch and I'm sorry to say that about your mom." She said and I sighed.

"I'm on your side Pepper, but I need to know what's going on." I pleaded, it was her turn to sigh.

"You aren't old enough. I want to tell you and I've been wanting too, but it's not a good time." She said and I told her it was fine, then hung up.

"Father." I said rubbing my temples, stressing myself out.

"I prefer daddy, but father works too." Matthew said joking with me. We pulled up outside the cabin and he pulled me onto his lap.

"I know you're going through a hard time, but Blu its all in your head." He said entwining our fingers.

"Thanks babe. I'll keep that in mind." I said with a wink. He cupped my face in his hands, kissing me lightly.

I couldn't help myself. In his arms, was like a new home. The feel of his muscles around me made me shiver under his touch. I might as well face it....I'm addicted to him.

I pressed our foreheads against each other, our rapid breaths breaking the silence. "I love you, Matthew Summers." I said smiling. He stroked my cheek gently.

"Don't say that." He said making me laugh.

"I didn't know you were a full Brit?" He cocked his eyebrow and groaned. His accent just sounded thicker when he spoke.

"I'm not. My mom just gave birth to me in Australia and I spent of few of my teen years there before we moved to America. That's where she met my dad when they were young. I tried to get rid of the accent, but sometimes it just comes up." He said rubbing his neck.

"Bloody hell, why didn't you tell me?" I said and he grinned at my choice of words. "You are using it weirdly and I just didn't feel like it was that big a deal. The accent rarely ever shows and you knew I was because of my dad and his band." He said shrugging his shoulders and taking the keys out of the ignition.

He lifted me up and carried me inside on his back. I hopped down and took off my jacket, and grabbed a Sprite from his fridge.

"It's a bloody hell of a big thing to me, pretty boy!" I said and he casted me a look. "Okay, I'm sorry I'll leave you alone about it." I replied hopping on the counter, removing my shoes.

He came and stood in between my legs pressing his head against my chest. I stroked his hair gently enjoying his warmth.

"Why do you keep beer here if you don't even drink?" I asked and he stared me in the eye.

"When I have guest I let them have them." He said and I gasped.

"Matthew Summers has friends?" I asked and he shook his head. "I would have never known with that cold heart of yours." I said hopping down. He caught me.

"It's not that cold, you should know. You melt it more and more." He said smirking. "Can I meet your friends?" I asked and he gave me a stern look.

"No, Blu. We've been over this." He said and that was it. His final answer. I started to shout, but he pressed his fingers to my lips.

"Babe, you've done enough of that today." He said and I kicked him, hopping down from the table and dashing off.

"Bloody hell!" He yelled after me. I laughed. "Don't think you'll get away, I do in fact live here and you sleep in my bed." He said as I stood pinned to a corner.

"Spare me mate?" I pleaded and we both burst out in laughter. "You are a piece of work." He mumbled as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked and he smiled.

"Your mood swings, they drive me insane. You were just yelling at your mother, now you won't get off my dick." He joked and I swatted his chest.

"It's not a mood swing, you just take my mind off of the bad aspects of life. That's a good thing, because you are the only person who can do that." I said and he twirled my hair around his finger.

"I don't even care Baby Blu, you're extraordinary and that's what I like about you." He laughed.

"Baby Blu? That's adorable." I said giving him a Eskimo kiss. He groaned.

"You know I'm nothing like this." He retorted as I made a straight face.

"What do you mean?" I asked smiling internally at my common Justin Bieber reference.

"I'm not this sweet and I've never liked or loved anyone not even myself. You bring out a different side in me. I don't get it." He said as I smiled and caressed his cheeks.

"I'm growing on you. That's all it is." I replied smiling up at him.
