This book is almost coming to an end.... just a few chapters to go.

Will there be a third book???? Who knows ;)

---------------------------------

"Yes bitch!" Mary cheers. "You got the D!"

"Yes yes," I curtsy. "One D, many, many times!"

"Girl!"

"You guys were so right, I'm so in love with him."

"Oh hell yes, I'm so happy!"

"Guys, please stop," Liam groans. "I don't want to hear about this."

"I do!" Kal says, sitting down on the couch.

I've just arrived home from college. It was my last lecture of the semester, but I don't have much of a break. besides, I'll be increasing my shifts at the cafe to get some extra cash.

"If you don't want the details, you can leave," Alex teases.

"Relax," I tell my brother. "I don't have any details to share."

"What?" Kal pouts. "You and Ollie are back together and you're not going to share."

I scoff. "You guys can stop pretending Ari hasn't already told you everything."

"Damn, you know me too well," Ari laughs.

Oliver and I have been couped up in our little work until this morning. I stayed at his place again last night, and he didn't leave for work until I had to head to campus. I called him during lunch, but he had a meeting to get to, so it wasn't for long. He's still at work right now, which blows, but he did miss over a day because of me.

"Liam!" mary grumbles. "Is the food almost ready?"

"Calm down, it's on its way!"

"I'm so hungry!"

"Have some more bread," I suggest.

"if she eats any more bread rolls, she'll become one," Ari chuckles.

"I'd rather be a bread roll than a hungry human," Mary groans.

"You could totally turn that into a kids song," I suggest.

"Ew, kids are the fucking worst."

"I feel you there!" Kal snickers.

"I love kids," Alex says. "I want like a million."

"What's that fancy word for exaggeration again, Lucy?" Ari asks, a smirk on her face.

"Hyperbole," I respond.

"Ah, Alex, you're a hyperbole," Ari grins.

"I'm an exaggeration?"

"Yep, that's right," she laughs.

"Ha!" Mary laughs. "You're entire being is just one big exaggeration!"

"Don't be mean to Alex," I scold.

"Yeah! Be mean to Liam instead!" he teases.

"Hey, why me?" my brother asks, lifting up a pan.

"You're the enemy, Liam, didn't you know?" I smirk.

"Don't bash my boo!" Mary defends him.

"You're full of kids songs tonight!" Ari jokes.

"I suggest starting your own TV show," Kal contributes.

"I don't think parents would want their kids to watch someone like me," Mary jokes. "They hide their kids if I even walk down the street."

"One day, tattoos will be so normal that kids will be getting them," Alex says.

"If they find an easier way to remove a tattoo, do you think people would still be so intimidated by them?" Ari asks. "Like, it could reach a level where tattoos are so easy to remove they're barely considered permanent anymore."

"That's a scary thought, dude," Kal laughs.

"Would that convince you to get tattoos?" Liam asks me.

"I don't know, to be honest," I say. "It's not the permanence that bothers me, I just can't figure out what I'd get."

"Just get a tramp stamp," Kal jokes. "They suit everyone."

"I'd rather tattoo my forehead than get a tramp stamp," Mary laughs.

"Okay, everyone!" Liam calls our attention. "All the food is now ready, so dig in!"

"Praise the Lord, hallelujah!" Mary sits up straight, instantly reaching for the potatoes.

Everyone here loves their food. Including me, for that matter. We all take our turns serving our food, filling up our plates as much as we can. I know we have a great dessert as well, so I'm hoping to leave room for that. We dig into our food, savouring every bite.

It's just so tasty.

"Alright, guys, I need to ask you something," Alex says.

"This sounds serious," I joke.

"Oh, it is."

"What's up?" Liam asks.

Always the responsible one.

"Well," he hesitates. "Is it weird to like men and women?"

"What? No!" I scoff.

"Are you sure?"

"Are you struggling with your sexuality again?" Mary asks. "Did something happen?"

"I was at a club last weekend, and this girl kissed me," he explains. "I've never kissed a girl before but it felt good?"

"That's okay," Ari says. "Bisexuality is a thing."

"I haven't even thought about girls in a sexual way since I was like, a pre-teen."

"Are you now?" Liam asks.

"Not really."

"Look, honestly," Kal begins. "I really think you shouldn't categorise yourself as anything. You wanna kiss girls? Kiss girls. You wanna kiss boys? Kiss boys."

"I agree," Mary says.

"It's just so hard," Alex says. "But I don't know, I don't even want to be in love."

"Wait, is this just about sex, or love?" Ari asks.

"I don't know," he grumbles. "Everything is just so confusing. I'm still figuring my shit out."

"Girl, you're like 22," Mary says. "You don't need to have your shit together yet."

"But you and Liam do," he turns to me. "And you and Ollie."

"Nah," I scoff. "I have no clue."

"Neither do I," Mary says. "Everything can change in a matter of seconds."

"Na, fuck it," Alex chuckles awkwardly. "I'm just gonna move on and forget it ever happened."

"That is the worst idea," Liam states.

"Honestly, I think I'm still as gay as ever."

I laugh at his choice of words, loving his confidence.

"Kissing really doesn't mean anything," Ari says. "I think it's more about sex and love."

"How di you tell Oliver you liked him?" Alex asks me.

"Well, I accidentally kissed him one day, and it got really awkward between us, but after a while, he came to me, told me he was interested in me, and it kind of just went from there," I say.

"So it was him who asked you out?"

"Yeah."

"What about you two?" Ari asks, turning to Mary and Liam.

"We never actually asked each other out," Mary says.

"It kind of just happened," Liam says. "But Mary was the one the first one to say I love you."

"That's cute as hell!" Ari grins.

"I can't even really picture myself telling anyone I love them," Alex says.

"It's okay, man," Kal says. "It's a process."

Alex sighs. "I love you guys, though."

"We love you too!"
