Driving through the city is absolute torture. Especially during peak hour. At least I don't have to attempt to get a parking spot here.

I pull into the Ferrari Freight parking lot, but I need a code to get in. I press the button on the pole to call security.

"Hello, how can I help?" the voice says.

"Hi, I'd like access to the parking lot."

"Name please?"

"Lucy Robins."

"I'm sorry, you're not on the list," she says. "Have a nice day."

"No, wait!" I call.

"Yes?"

"Call Liam Robins," I say. "He'll let me in."

She scoffs. "You think people haven't tried that before?"

"Come on," I grumble. "Ask Oliver! Or Kaleem or Alex!"

"Listen ma'am, come back when you have the code."

"No, you listen!" I exclaim. "You call Liam Robins this second, or I will, and I will have you fired!"

The guard doesn't speak at first. I obviously won't get her fired, I'm not that cruel. I reach for my phone, ready to call him myself. I know Mary must've told him I was on my way already. They talk 24/7.

"Apologies, Ms Robins," the voice speaks again.

"Thank you!" I smile. "Sorry for being so mean!"

The gate opens, and I drive through. The parking spots near the elevator are Reserved, with the boys names painted on the wall.

Oliver's spot is free, so I take it. I know for a fact he got his driver to drop him off, since he made an extravagant stop at my college.

I hurry into the elevator, pressing on the button to take me to the top floor. I quickly fix my hair in the mirror, but what really bothers me, is this outfit. I might as well be wearing pyjamas, and here I am, in a fancy office building, about to visit the CEO.

The elevator finally reaches the top floor, and opens its doors to reveal the small entry hallway. The logo of the company is screwed to the wall, popping out from the black wall.

I take a deep breath, and walk over the tiles, to the reception.

"Ms Robins," Clyde smiles. "It's nice to see you again."

"Hi, it's been a while," I say.

Clyde is Oliver's assistant. He's a fairly young dude, but still older than us. He must be about in his thirties, but he's been working for the company for years. He's a very gentle, soft spoken man from what I can tell, but I really don't know much about him.

"Are you here to see your brother?" he asks.

"No, actually," I grin. "Is Oliver around?"

"Mr Ferrari is at a business meeting at the moment. Would you like me to call him for you?"

"Yes please."

He nods at me, and brings the phone to his head, pressing a single button. I don't have to wait long. seconds later, Clyde returns the phone back to its holder.

"It went straight to voicemail. His phone must be off. Unfortunately, I can't tell how long the meeting will last. Would you like to wait?"

"Yeah, but I'm guessing you won't let me into his office?"

"I'm sorry, Ms Robins. I'll need to get permission."

"I hope my permission counts," Liam says, approaching the desk.

"Hey!" I grin.

"Mr Robins," Clyde nods.

"Hey Clyde, she can go into his office. Also, could you put her on the list for parking access?"

"Of course."

"Thanks, Clyde," I smile.

"Ollie's just down the street for a meeting, but I don't think it'll take too long," Liam says. "Mary told me what you're up to."

"And?" I smirk. "What do you think?"

"Well, I already heard what happened at college this morning, and I'm fairly surprised."

"Surprised?"

"I thought you it would take a little longer," he teases. "You've always been so stubborn."

"It's one of my best qualities," I grin.

"If by best you mean most prominent, then you're absolutely right."

I shake my head at him, squinting my eyes to fake anger.

"Well, go on," he says. "And spare me the details next time I see you."

"I'm sure Mary will tell you everything," I smirk.

"Bye Lucy," he grumbles, heading off. "Thanks, Clyde."

"Bye Clyde," I smile, heading off to Oliver's office.

This floor is set up in a pretty strange way, but it's all very neat. There are a few offices for the heads and the board members, along with three conference rooms. The other levels have way more offices and bullpens, but this level is exclusively for the VIPs.

'Oliver Ferrari, CEO', I read off the door. I push it open, closing it behind me.

His office is absolutely beautiful. With hardwood floors, and a glass wall providing amazing views, it's the best office in the building. It's bigger than my entire living area, but barely decorated.

Liam has a Lethal Weapon poster on his wall, but Ollie has nothing personal or even decorative. It's just a big desk full of stuff, some cabinets, and a round glass table in the corner head the door. His desk doesn't even look out of the windows, but towards the door.

I take the opportunity to sit on his side of the desk, trying to feel as powerful as Oliver must feel.

I turn around in the seat, snapping a quick picture of the view. He sees this everyday, he's got to recognise it. I send the picture to him, along with the link to a song I thought of in the car. It's perfect for this moment. It's Come and Find Me Now, by Josh Ritter. It's got no deep sentiment to our relationship, but it's beautiful, and with the right lyrics to fit this situation.

Now, all I've got to do is wait.
