(Y/N) POV

the night was calm as always, I was hanging around in the abandoned building me and my family live in, sure my family consist of bad people such as bikers, dealer's and thieves but they are all I got for a family even if they don't see it like that, the only person that does see me like it being my adopted mother, even though she was only about five years older then me she treated me with love and care like every mother ever since I had memory, so she is the reason I stayed here instead of running away when I had the chance

But unfortunately there was an argument between my mom and her father saying that I'm an annoyance to him, and my mom wasn't that happy since they threaten her to get rid of me or they would kill me and her even if she is there family, so I told my mom that I will leave and find my real family so she can stay with here's, she didn't liked the plan and roughly accepted, so after a few hug's and cry's, I left the place now fighting to survive, and that was roughly a year ago

I was on the other part of the city in between two big buildings, I was shivering from how cold it was and was dying of hunger, thinking that I wasn't gonna get warm just sitting around I decided to walk around to heat up, but without eating for days I had a hard time trying to keep my balance and my vision clear, i had to cross a street and I was losing strength to stay up and was slowly collapsing to the floor, I fell down and saw to my side that a car was about to run over me so I closed my eyes and accepted death, but it stopped and I saw two people come out of it and ran towards me and before I passed out I heard them talk to me but I couldn't listen well, and everything went black

I slowly started to wake up, as my vision was getting clear, i saw that I was inside a house, the place had blue theme to it and was almost empty, it only had a bed, a shelf with a lamp and a box that was slightly opened, I was confused as to where I was and wanted to explore where I was, but I was to weak to get up, I heard the door opening making me look towards it and in came a lady with a tray in her hand

"Oh my, you awake " she said walking towards me, I didn't answer her and she put the tray down on the shelf grabbing a sandwich and handed it to me "here you go, you must be really hungry" my stomach growled and I slowly got the sandwich and took a bit out of it, the taste of it made my eyes start tearing at how good it was since the food I mostly eat is rotten or expired, I quickly finished the sandwich and the lady handed me another one, I was a bit hesitant now but she insisted to eat it, and after a couple of sandwiches later i was full with her smiling at me

"Um... Thank you miss, for the sandwiches..." i said shyly

"it's ok, when my husband and i found you laying on the street you looked like you really wanted it so I don't mind, anyways what's your name?"

"Its-its (Y/N)" then we heard the door open again and we saw a girl enter

"Mom what are you..." she stopped talking when she saw me "who is that and what's he doing here?" She asked rudely, it hurt my feelings a bit but her mom stepped in

"Rachel be nice, your father and I found him almost dead and we helped him here"

"But why is he in this room, why didn't you put him on the couch or something!" She then left the room angered

"I'm sorry about her, she doesn't like it when hey enter this room"

"Its ok ma'am, I'll leave right now if I bother" i was about to get up but the lady stopped me from getting up

"No,  you can't leave now, it's still dark and cold outside, you should sleep here for tonight"

"But I..."

"it's ok, your not a bother to me so you can stay" she tucked me into bed and kissed my forehead "goodnight" she then left the room and turned off the lights, I would have been confused here but I was really happy, it's been so long since I felt that motherly love and it feels stronger with her, I closed my eyes and slept peacefully

The next day

I started walking up after the wierd dream I had where I was being pulled away from the girl last night but way younger, once my eyes open my vision was starting to clear up and the first thing I saw was the girl looking at me angry

"...Oh um... morning? ..."

"Why are you still here?"

"Well I'm just waking up so..." i was halfway through my sentence when she grabbed me by the shirt and pulled me out of the room causing me to fall on my Butt,  she then started to clean the room fast and came out closing the door

"Listen here, I don't care if my parents let you there but stay away from that room, do you understand me!?" She yelled inches away from my face

"O-ok, I'm sorry it won't happen again" i said on the verge of crying, she then left leaving me on the floor curled up, but soon after a man came out of another room in a business suit

"Hmm, hey are you ok, what's wrong son" he asked in a calm voice

"I'm sorry, it's just that your daughter yelled at me to not enter there" I said trying to not cry

"it's ok, Rachel was always sensitive whenever someone enters the room, but don't worry, why don't we go eat breakfest" he said cheering me up

"ok" we then headed to the kitchen and found the lady cooking, she then noticed us and turned around

"Oh good morning boys, how did you sleep (Y/N)?"

"I slept fine, but I got your daughter angry again so I think I should leave now" they both had surprised faces at my answer

"But (Y/N), why not have breakfast with us first?" the lady asked

"i... I'd love to but..."

"Then there should be no problem, come on (Y/N)" the mas said, sitting down, I sat down with them since they insisted and gave me a plate of toast with eggs, I ate the toast and finnished quickly not wanting to bother them any longer

"Well, thank you for the hospitality mister and miss, but I must head out now" i got up and started heading for the door

"But (Y/N), where will you go?" The lady asked but I didn't have an answer so I stood there silent until i maneged to say something

"I'm going... nowhere exactly" i said in a sad tone, then the man spoke up

"Well, we both where talking about this last night and wanted to see if you would like to stay with us and live here?" My eyes widen at the news

"Well the street is no place for a person like you so we decided to allow you in our family if you want" the lady said and I felt my eyes water, I ran and hugged them as if they were my parents but then we all saw Rachel with an odd expression

"You can't be serious now right?" Rachel said in a not so happy tone

"We are Rachel, we know you still don't feel like accepting reality, but maybe..." the lady said

"Maybe you two accept him but I don't so do whatever you want now" she left leaving me sad

"A-are you sure I can stay" i said, I felt the grip of the hug tighter

"Yes we are, you two just need to get along as a family now"

"So does this mean I can call you mom and dad?"

"Of course son"

We then let go and kept doing our everyday thing, but my day asked for a string of my hair, which was odd but I did it anyways, the real problem here was Rachel since she dosnt like me that much, I tried to get along wit her but it's proven difficult, I just hope I do get along with her

Two months later

Man math sure is hard, I was at the table learning some math quizzes my dad left for me to spend the time, but since he dosnt have a lot of time he doesn't show me how math works, and my mom was out on something important so it was just me and Rachel

"What's that problem?" Rachel asked behind me making me jump

"it's, the multiplication one" she then started to exam my sheet and pointed at a problem

"That one is wrong, as well as that one and that one and this one" i was basically wrong in every problem making me feel dumb "look it Goes like this" she pulled a chair and started teaching me the rules of multiplying, it was really simple the way she teaches and made me understand the lesson

"And the answer to this one is 64"

"Correct, you do learn fast (Y/N)"

"Thanks, your very good a teaching as well" she smiled at my complement but then looked the other way

"Oh yeah, it's nothing" she said not that interested

"Well... I'm going to the bathroom" i got up and left, I walked through the hall way and walked past the room Rachel keeps off limits, I wanted to see inside it again because it felt really familiar ever since I slept there but I knew she wouldn't like it, I checked to see if she wasn't looking and enter the room carefully forgetting to close the door

I saw the box that was just sitting the open and checked inside of it, there were baby things inside for boys, there was a pacifiers, clothes and an old teddy bear, and under it all was a very soft blanket, it was small, fitting for a baby and I felt the need to hug it like if it was mine, I then started to remember my dream I had time ago where the girl that looked like a young Rachel was trying to reach me crying while I did the same

Then the door open roughly making me jump and see who it was

"What are you doing here?!" She then noticed the blanket in my hands making her gasp "let that go!" She got the blanket but I didn't feel like giving it

"Wait I can explain"

"i said, give it back!"

We then heard the fabric rip tearing apart the blanket and made us fall, I saw Rachel with a face of shock

"No, not this, anything but this..." she said quietly, I quickly got up to help her but she stared at me like a target

"I-i-im sorry I didn't mean to..." she then jumped on me and started choking me in her grasp

"I TOLD YOU TO NOT ENTER HERE AND YOU DESTROYED MY LITTLE BROTHER BLANKET!"

"I...sor ... Please ..."

"YOU MIGHT HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED BY MY PARENTS BUT YOU'LL NEVER REPLACE MY BROTHER, YOU UNDER STAND ME!"

I was starting to lose air and it was making my vision go black, but I maneged to push her away freeing me and with huge breaths of air, I ran out of the room and made it to the living room falling on my knees trying to catch my breath but Rachel made it to and she started throwing things at me

"THIS IS FOR TRYING TO MAKE ME FORGET MY BROTHER AND RIPPING HIS BLANKET APART!"

She then got a lamp and smacked my head with it, it gave me massive pain for a while, and when I looked up i saw Rachel with a knife in her hand running towards me and stab my leg making me scream in pain

With my other leg I pushed her off and pulled the knife out and ran out of the house with a limping leg that was bleeding bad

"AND STAY OUT UNLESS YOU WANT ME TO STAB YOUR EYES OUT!" and she slamed the door shut

I was just running away blind seeing where ever the road takes me, I was crying at the sudden event, I had a family that loved me and took me as there own but I ruined it, I just wish I was dead now

Rachel's POV

In my brother's room i had the now torn apart blanket in my hands crying, it was my brothers favorite blanket when he was a baby before he was kidnapped, and that pest that my parents call there son ripped it apart, I would have killed him if he didn't ran away

The phone started ringing and I got up to answer, first trying to calm down to not sound sad

"Hello"

"Rachel, I have some good news!" My mom said happy

"What happened"

"it's him, it's really him"

"Who?"

"Your little brother, (Y/N) is your little brother" i was speechless at what I was hearing

"But where is he?"

"The boy me your father and I found, he's (Y/N), all this time we found him and we didn't notice" after hearing that my heart dropped

"He's gone"

"What?"

"(Y/N)'s gone, he ran away"

"No, he can't be where did he..."

I hanged up and looked at the room, all this time my brother was here and I was to up set to notice, and because of it I almost killed him with my bare hands... (Y/N)

I ran out of he house and started searching for him, it was gonna be dark soon and he has an injured leg, he might die if he's not treated on time

After a few hours I wasn't able to find him, I was now in the middle of the city and it was dark, I was feeling more and more pressure the more he's away, but then it found a blood trial leading to a dark allyway, and not caring the dangers I ran to it to find (Y/N)

" (Y/N)! Where are you?!" But no one answered " (Y/N) it's me Rachel, your sister, please come out so we can go home"

"Well well, look what we got here guys" i turned around and saw a man with two guys by his side

"Please I'm not looking for trouble, I just want to find my brother" i said walking back

"But why look for your brother when you can look for something better" he grabbed my arm not allowing me to escape and I felt tiers running down

"No please, Heeelp!"

"No one can here you missy, now let's have som..." then a rock hit him letting me go

"Leave her alone!" And (Y/N) came out punching the guy in the face standing in front of me

"Why you little,  get Em boys"

"Rachel run" he said

"But"

"NOW" he yelled and I ran behind a dumpster

I heard punches and kicks with some screams coming from (Y/N)

"So, you have a bad leg hmm, why not break it some more"

"No please NOOOOOOO"

I covered my mouth trying to not scream at the horror that was happening,  I then started to hear some more kicks until a police siren was heard

"Oh crap the law, Scram"

The men ran away and I looked to see what happened, and saw (Y/N) on the floor struggling to breath and with a cut on his face, I ran and grabbed him not letting him go, and not long after a person came with the police and ambulance appeared, they took (Y/N) away to the hospital with me by his side crying for what I have done

"Its ok (Y/N), we'll be home soon, everything will be fine" i said to him while he was asleep

Once the doctors got him fixed up he was sleeping on the bed of the hospital and my parents came as well, we we're all waiting for him to wake up to give him the news and go home, and some time after the doctor came out

"Doctor, is my brother ok?!" I asked desperately

"He's fine miss, we patched up his cuts and heald his wounds, and he should be waking up soon, you can all go see him if you like"

He then showed us his room, he was sleeping peacefully in the bed all stitched up and casted, we all went to each of his side waiting or him to open his eyes

He then started to wake up

"Ugh... where am I"

" (Y/N)" we all said and he looked at us and when he saw me his heartbeat Increased with a scared face

" (Y/N) it's ok, calm down" my dad said to him

"Its ok, no one is gonna hurt you now " my mom said hugging him, his heart beat went back to normal and he started hugging my parents like if his life depended on it, so I decided to speak up

"(Y/N)" they all looked at me "I'm sorry for what I did to you, I was just anger that you broke the blanket"

My parents then let him go with a curious look

"it's...its ok Rachel, I knew how important it was for you, so I deserve it"

"No you didn't,  you didn't deserve the way I treated you, because you are my brother"

I ran and hug him and he returned the hug, I started to cry now having my brother back and also because I almost killed him and got him here

"if anything you should hate me, I...i " i was about to cry but he shushed me

"Like i said Rachel, it's fine, I can never hate my own sister after all"

After he said that I was now a crying mess, even tho I hated him before he doesn't hate me and even called me his sister, I was so happy now that I will make sure no one takes me away from (Y/N) again

And after crying enough I looked at him one more time

"i missed you so much (Y/N) , welcome home" and we as well as my parents gave a group hug to welcome (Y/N) back to the family
