"Hey (Y/N) where does this piece go?" My friend Bella asked as we were making a small replica of our city out of clay.

"Behind the tall tower"

"And this one?"

"Besides the post office"

"And this?"

"That's one is literally your apartment building, how do you not know where it goes?" Bella then looked at the small building analizing it.

"... Oh I see now. Hey do you think there's a tiny me inside" she said looking inside a small window.

"Bella! Please focus, we have to finish this project for tomorrow or else we will fail the subject!"

"Oh relax (Y/N) Its barley 3 o'clock, we have plenty of time"

"Yeah, and we would have more if you told me about it 2 weeks ago!" I said trying to not squeeze the clay building I had in hand.

"Jeje, I'm sorry I was just busy with my big collection of games that I forgot about it, but your one of the top students of our class so getting an A should be easy" she said triggering me.

"YOU THINK THA... *sigh* Well arguing about it now would be pointless now that we maneged to get near halfway done"

"Yep, how about we take a break from this and play some plumber racing for a bit?" She said stretching her arms.

"No, we barely maneged to finish this in half a day, if we take a break now we won't be able to finish it on time, plus you know how strict the teacher is when it comes to these projects"

"Awwww, pleaaaase?"

"I'm sorry Bella, but we need to spend as much time on it if we want to pass social studies, now hand me that red clay you have there"

"Oh alright fine" she said pouting a bit.

And as time passed we were finishing our small diagram of the city in a fast rate, although Bella has her bored face and refuses to work anymore she still did help me out a bit.

"And with that we are almost done with the city, I say it looks good so far" I said proudly

"Yeah it does, but my head hurts from all the sticking and placing" she said with an almost sleeping look.

"Don't worry, we could finish it in the last hour before we head to sleep"

"Wait what?" Bella said looking at the clock "oh man it's already 8:30?"

"Yep, time sure flies when your busy"

"Awwww, but I haven't played my daily dose of games today" bella said lying her head on the table

"You had two weeks of playtime when we were supposed to do this so this balances everything out"

"But can we at least have a race in the last hour your here?"

"Bella where almost finished, so i think it would be better to do this first" I said and Bella pouted

"... Oh, how about we play a round and I'll finish the project by myself before tomorrow"

"Bella, do you remember the last time you where assigned to something alone?"

2 months ago

"Behold, the eruption of a volcano!" Bella yelled as she pulled down a lever, and instead of the volcano erupting it exploded, covering the whole room with fake lava that smelled bad.

"Ok yeah sure I may have overdone it with the baking soda, but this is just putting clay on these things and sticking them on the board, so it's way easier for me then mixing chemistry together"

"Well, I suppose your right"

"Come on please, I'm already dying from all this time we killed by doing the project!" She pleaded.

"Alright fine, but you better bring it complete tommorow"

"Deal! Now let's have some fun" she said running to her room booting up the console.

"Sure, if you can beat me that is"

Later that night

Bella's POV

"Then this fountain goes *yawn* right here, ok how many do I have left?" I asked looking at the last pieces "12 left good... but I'm so tired... z z z... "

'that was a fun match, wouldn't you say (Y/N)?"

"Yeah I admit it was, but it is late now, I should probably head home now" (Y/N) said grabbing his bag and heading towards the door but before he opened it he took a look at the project "or you know what, maybe I should help you finish the city before i leave"

"No no it's ok, I said I'll finish the project for us"

"Are you sure? There's a lot left to finish"

"Of course I'm sure, I did say I'll do it if we play a round didn't i"

"Yeah but-"

"It's ok (Y/N), you just go home and get some rest for tommorow, I'll have the project ready by then" I said pushing him outside.

"Ok, I'm actually glad your being responsible about this" he said as he patted my head "well I'll see you at school tomorrow" he said leaving.

'did he, complemented me?' I asked confused, nobody ever complemented me before.

"Z z -wha!? What happened?!" I said shooting my eyes open, realizing I was still in my house with the project unfinished.

"Oh *yawn* it's already past midnight... Whaaa why didn't I accepted (Y/N)'s help earlier?" I said hitting my head on the table to wake up.

'how about we play a round and I'll finish the project by myself before tomorrow'

'I'm actually glad your being responsible about this'

"Right, I promised I'd finish the project alone *yawn* so I'll do it!" I said with a small building in hand with a determined attitude.

5 boring hour's later

"Z z z z- I said I'll do it! *SLAM*" I yelled out loud as I slammed my head on the table  harder to wake up.

"Wha! What time is it!... 5:30! I haven't even painted the last buildings yet" I said panicking as I ran into my room to get the paint, and coming back I accidentally tripped spilling paint all over the project.

"No no no this is bad! Maybe if I just..." I said whipping the paint off a small part, and when i got the small part of paint off a red drop spilled on it, and I realized that it was blood from my head after I slammed it.

"Oh why now, ok I have 2 hours before school starts, that should be enough time to WOAH!" I said as I slipped and from my blood and crushed the miniature clay city.

Sometime later at school

(Y/N)'s POV

'where is she, Bella said she'd bring it here before they start grading our work'  I thought as I was waiting in Line, then it was the turn of the partners in front of me and I was starting to get nervous since Bella wasn't showing up on time.

"I'm heeere~" I heard Bella sing behind me.

"Oh finally, for a second I thought that-" I said in relief, but after turning around to see Bella my relief suddenly dissapeared "... what happened to the city?"

"I had some issues last night, but I got to finish it on time" bella said sounding tired, and now that I looked at her I noticed the band wrapped around her head.

"Wait but, what happened to you!?"

"Don't worry about that, the important thing is that I maneged to get it almost like how we had it yesterday" she said with a confident tired expression, but the small City was made with small boxes, blocks and unpainted buildings.

"I, think I we should not show up for the grade, in fact let's take you to the nurse's office" I said wanting to leave with Bella but she tugged into my sweater not wanting to go.

"Ah Don't say that (Y/N), It might not look as good as the first one *yawn* but it's the effort that counts" she said, and the other students behind us where trying to hold in their laugh's, and I quickly gave them all a death glare to shut them up.

"Next!" The teacher said with the other two students from before leaving with looks of relief.

"Look if you want just wait here while I show our work, you'll see that we'll be ok" she said walking towards the teachers desk.

"Wait, Bella!" and with that bella entered the classroom.

"Oh, why if it isn't Bella, hopefully partnering you up with a top student will actually get you something" the teacher said monotoned

"Good morning teach, here's the project you asked for *yawn* and on time to" Bella said placing the board on the desk

"... Well, I gotta say I haven't seen anything like this" the teacher said unamazed.

"Really, why is that?"

"For one what Happened to your partner"

"Oh (Y/N)? He was just shy about showing the project, so I said that I'll do it for us"

"Ok, and why does your project look like this?"

"About that, you see I didn't tell (Y/N) that we had to do this project until yesterday, so we both worked all we could to get it on time"

"So I'm guessing that's why this is the worst model I've seen so far"

"Eh?... I-i'm sorry, what?"

"I'm pretty sure you've seen the other models from the rest of my students, they all spent a lot more time and effort into there replicas in 2 weeks, while yours on the other hand is made out of paper and not even colored properly" he said sounding a bit more harsh.

't-thats a bit to mean, after all it looked like she did her best with it' I thought as I heard outside the classroom.

"B-b-but, we did all we could, it's just that we didn't-"

"Had enough time, even when I assigned this project weeks ago"

"W-well..." Bella said intimidated.

"I don't even know how you maneged to make it this far in school if your like this, but as your teacher i guarantee you won't be able to pass my class if you keep doing  mistakes like these" the teacher said with a low tone.

"I-i'm sorry, I promise I'll do better next time"

"Good, now get out of my class, and take this trash out of my desk"

Bella nodded and walked out of the class with the project.

"Bella, are you ok?... Bella?" I asked, but Bella just walked towards the nearest trash can and threw the board away "Bella it's ok, your work wasn't that bad"

Bella turned around with an expressionless face giving me a scare when she was walking towards me since I thought I made her mad with what I said, but instead of receiving a hit I felt her wrap her arms around me while hiding her face in my chest, and imidietly I felt my shirt getting wet.

"I-i'm sorry we failed" she said trying to not cry while hiding in my shirt.

"Don't worry about it, you did the best you could" I said soothing her hair to comfort her.

"No, you don't understand, you trusted me that I could finish this project and I slept before I even finished it" she said while crying a bit more.

"But it's ok, I'm not even-"

"Stop lying! I know your not ok with me right now!" She shouted as she was hitting my chest lightly "no one ever thinks it's ok when I fail, I'm always a disappointment when I can't do things right. And now, when you trusted me... I also couldn't do it right" she said sounding defeated, but grabbed her chin lightly so she can face me.

"Bella, I'm not disappointed, I'm actually proud of you" I said gaining her attention "sure you may have ruined our project, but you worked so hard to build another one in so little time"

"How c-can you tell"

"It's written all over your face"

"S-someone wrote on my face!?" She asked surprised

"Erm, that's not what I meant. What I mean is that I could tell you did work so hard for the project, normally I've never seen you work like this, but seeing you now actually shows how much of a hard worker you are" I said but Bella still looked sad.

"Oh, well thanks (Y/N), But that doesn't fix our grade for social studies"

"Don't worry about, I can pass even without that credit. But how about for now we work together on the next project we get"

"Wait, you still want to work with me?" She asked confused.

"Of course, I'll help you get pass this school year so we could show how great you are" I said giving bella a shining smile "so what do you say, want to be-" I said but was cut of by bella giving me a tighter hug.

"Thank you for believing in me (Y/N), I'll be a better at team projects with you" she said happily.

"Wonderful, now how about we get to our classroom away from this room"

"Ok" she said letting go of the hug so we can leave "and how about we play at my apartment after school"

"Not until we finish our homework first"

"Whaaaaa"
