A long day at work was never the most greatest thing to do in life, but it has to be done

As I walked home and I walked in an alleyway beacuse it was a short cut I discovered recently, but half way there I found a box and legs where poking out of it, I stoped to analyze the situation, if it's a thug then I might be robbed and beaten up

Grabbing anything I can find I decided to walk past the box, as I got closer I was able to see more of the person, once on front of the box I dropped what I had in my hands, it was a girl, she looked 2 years younger then me and she was dirty with some bruises and a black eye, she appears to be sleeping as well

My heart dropped at the sight I saw, how can someone treat a person like this, then she looked at me weakly "help...me....plea..." was all she could say, and out of instinct I carried her bridal style and ran back to my house

-time later-

After a long run I made it to my house, I layed the girl in my sofa and grabbed a glass of water to give her, I shoke her to wake her up and she opened her eyes

"Here drink this" I hand her the water and she drinker it like if her life depended on it, she finished it and I hand her a sandwich I had saved in the morning, and just like the water she ate it fast

"You sure are hungry"

"It's... it's because I haven't eaten in a week"

"JESUS! Where are your parents? I'll give them a call They must be worried sick"

"NO! please don't call them, they don't even want me, the just hit me and let me starve, so please don't take me back" she pleaded me crying at the end, I didn't know why, but I felt like I have to protect her from everything that makes her sad, so I pulled her in a hug and let her cry in my chest

"Shh shh it's ok, I won't call them"

"Really?" She looked at me in the eye's and I cleaned her tears away

"Really, I'll let you stay with me if you want" she hugged me tighter and said softly "Thank you, I promise I'll repay you somehow"

"Don't worry about it, now why don't you take a shower and I'll prepare dinner for us"

"Yes please" she said shyly

I showed her the bathroom and set the water warm for her, while she took a shower I cleaned  her clothes in the washing machine beacuse I didn't have any spare clothes for her, so I'll buy her new one's on the weekend

After a short while she came out with one of my shirts on, and i can confirm she's ONLY wearing the shirt since she was pulling it down

"Um... can I have my clothes please?" My face was red seeing her bare legs, I quickly turned around and walked to the laundry machine, the clothes were now clean and dry, I went back and gave it to her facing the other side

"H-here you go, sorry I forgot to bring them to you"

After that small awkward moment, we had dinner, which was spaghetti my speciality, she ate her food just like the sandwich a gave her earlier... now that I think about it

"By the way, what's your name?"

"Hmp..." she had her mouth full, she swallowed it all and breath "my name is Chloe, sorry I didn't mention it earlier, what's yours?"

"My name is (Y/N)" Chloe had a shoked look but then shruged it off "hmm, I think I heard that name before, but I can't remember where" she said as she ate another forkfull of spaghetti

"Don't worry about it, I'm sure it's not important, so anyways would you like to go to the mall on saturday" I ask but Chloe had a confused look "what's a mall exactly?" She asked

"You never been to a mall before?"

"I was never allowed to leave my old house, my parents made me do all the house work while they went to work, and they didn't even leave me a single thing to play with so I was always bored there" my feelings where crushed with anger, what kind of parents leave there kid alone in the house doing all the house work and not let them play around, but now is not the time to think of anger

"Well don't worry, your with me now and I know you'll love the mall, it's a big place with many different little stores, my idea was to buy you new clothes"

"You're gonna by me new clothes, but why?"

"I don't really know, but I feel like I should, besides your not gonna want to use that only pare of cloths for ever"

"O-ok, you don't really need to..."

"Like I said, I feel like I should, so don't worry just think that its a family gift"

"Thank you, I never felt so cared before"

-time later-

And the week went by so quick, it was already saturday and me and Chloe were at the mall, and she had an astonished look at how big the place was

"Wooooow, look (Y/N) there's an ice cream shop there, and a tv store here, and look at how high the place is"

"I'm glad you like it, but let's do what we came here for in the first place"

"Then can we explore the whole place?"

"Sure why not"

After some time we bought her new clothes and explored most of the mall, we found a pet store that was one of the last place to see

"(Y/N) can we see the animals there, pleeeease?"

"You can go Chloe, I'll sit here, carrying these things is tiering"

"Ok, I'll be back then" she said then ran to the pet store

I sat on the bench and relaxed, seeing Chloe happy and excited was satisfying for me, but that nice feeling was blown away in an instant

"(Y/N)"

I turned around and saw my parents, great

"Mother, father, it's nice seeing you here" I said not looking at them

"(Y/N) look at us when we're talking to you, we are your parents" my mom said

"Oh really, I remember my uncle's taking care of me beacuse you guys didn't want to reise me ever since I had memory"

"(Y/N) look, we know what we did, but we changed" dad said

"Oh really, since when?"

"Well..."

"(Y/N)!!! I found a cute little bunny and..." we all looked at Chloe that stoped on her trackes when she notices my parents

"Chloe?" They both said

"Wait what?!"

"Mom? Dad?" She was backing away slowly wanting to cry "(Y/N) You said you wouldn't call them, how could you?"

"Chloe that's not what's going on they're..."

"SHUT UP!" Chloe then ran away crying

"Chloe!... so your the ones who never let her have any freedom" I looked at them, i know evreything about there relationship now so they can't hide it, they looked down in shame "I should have known"

"(Y/N) i know your mad at us now, but we arn't what we we're before, we what to be a family with you two again" my dad said

"First fix things with Chloe, then we'll talk" and I ran after Chloe leaving my parents alone

So Chloe was my sister, this whole time, so me wanting to protect her is because of my brother instincts, but she dosnt know that yet, I need to find her quick

After what felt like hours I couldn't find Chloe anywhere, I was starting to feel guilty that she's lost, but then I heard crying in an alleyway, I walked in and found her in her old box, I felt so relived that she's ok

"Chloe" she then looked at me with a annoyed look

"What do you want, to take me back again"

"No, I never wanted to take you back it's just that..."

"Just what, my parents where there all of a sudden, you must have called them to give me back to them without me knowing"

"But I didn't, the reason they where there is something I also didn't know, if I did then I would have never brought you there"

"How do I know your not lying"

"Beacuse if I did, then your parents would have been here as well"

"So you didn't call them"

"I would never, you never even gave me there number or names to begin with"

"Oh, well of it's like that then... I'm sorry, I shouldn't have exploded at you like that" I rubbed her head and smiled at her

"Its ok, it must have been hard to think when you saw your parents"

"Thanks (Y/N),  you know, even tho we met a week ago I feel like I've known you all my life" she said that last part looking into my eye's

"Well maybe it beacuse..." ad I was explaining I was cut of by Chloe kissing me, let me refrase that, my SISTER was kissing me

I pulled back and Chloe was confused

"(Y/N) what's wrong, why did you pull back?"

"This isn't right"

"But why, I know it's to early to date for us but I don't care, I love you (Y/N)"

"I... I love you to Chloe, but it's not that"

"Then what's wrong?"

"Its beacuse your parents... are my parents as well" Chloe had a surprised look, she couldn't believe what she's hearing "your my, brother"

"Yes, that's why it's wrong, we can't be lovers"

"No"she said affirmatively

"What?"

"I said no, just because where family dosnt mean we can't be lovers"

"But what about..."

"I don't care (Y/N), I love you more then anything now, you are the only one who cared for me and I never thought I'd felt like I mattered to someone" Chloe then hugged me and cried in my chest

"I don't want to lose you to anyone, you are really important to me so I want to be more then your friend or your sister" she then cried in my chest, I don't know what I was feeling now, I loved my sister  but she loves me more then that, maybe loving my sister won't be so bad right? Well only one way to find out

I hugged her tighter and she looked at me again in the eye's, and this time I was the one who kissed her, time felt like it stopped, she had soft and sweet lips, I never thought my sister was so sweet

After time I let go so we can breath, she looked at me with a small blush

"I love you chloe" I said

"I love you to (Y/N), I don't care of your my brother, I'll always love you"

"Well lets go home Chloe, we need to... oh no"

"What's wrong"

"I forgot your stuff at the mall"

"Oh I'm sorry, it was my fault for leaving like that"

"Its ok Chloe, we'll just buy more next week, for now let's go back" I offered Chloe my hand and she grabbed on so we can walk home together, surprisingly the stuff I bought we're In my front door, it also had a note

We're sorry for everything we have done, we never realized we treated you like pest and never mentioned anything about you two being siblings, we promise well fix everything and hope we can be a family again

It seems like they did change, hopefully they do regret what they done, but I'm more worried about how to tell them that me and Chloe are dating, hopefully they'll understand

"(Y/N), do you mind if we sleep together tonight"

"Sure Chloe, anything for you my love"

"Thanks darling"she gave a kiss and I held her around my arms

And from here on out, nothing will ever break us apart, not even family, I'll fight anything so I can always be with my sister and be happy
