"Dan we have been walking forever now, where are you taking me" I said to my best friend as he was leading the way to who knows where through a forest.

"I already told you, it's a surprise, relax where almost there" he said as we kept walking, after a few moments we saw a big tree that was tree times bigger then any other tree "there it is, race ya" and he ran towards it.

"Hey no fair" i shouted as i ran to catch up to him, once we where a few feet away we heard a dog barking nearby, it made us stop and look around.

"Please someone help me!" someone shouted, we heard it coming from the tree and we rushed to see what it was, and saw a big dog struggling to enter a small hole on the tree "Mommy, daddy, help me!" We heard again coming from the hole.

"Hey, go away" Dan shouted as he grabbed a rock and threw it to the dog.

"Yeah leave us alone" i did the same helping Dan scare the dog away, the dog stopped trying to get in the hole and turned to us, but we kept grabbing rocks to throw at it, and soon enough it ran away.

"And stay away from here" Dan shouted throwing one last rock at it, once it was away we heard crying from inside the tree and we went to see who it is.

"Hey... are you ok" i said to the crying person, and I saw it was a girl that was about our age.

"don't worry, the dog is gone now" Dan said and the girl quickly got out of the hole and hugged me tightly while crying, this gave Dan a wierd face.

"it's ok it's ok, nothing will hurt you now"

"Th-thank you"

"it was nothing, what's your name" i asked the girl as she slowly let me go.

"...Olivia" she said shyly.

"Ejem, I helped to you know" Dan said quite irritated.

"Oh sorry, thank you to" she said  going close to him.

"There now I feel-*chu*" Dan said before stopping mid sentence by Olivia giving him a kiss in the cheek, this made him red and slightly nervous "y-y-y-you didn't n-need to do th-that" he stuttered.

"Ohhhhhh, Dan and Olivia sitting in a tree-" i began teasing before being punched in the arm by Dan "ahh"

"Shut up (Y/N)"

"So, why did you two came to my great grandmother's tree?"  Olivia asked now calmed down.

"Wait this is your tree!?"  Dan asked shocked while I decided to look around the tree.

"Yes, why so surprised?"

"Ohh, so this is why you brought me here Dan" i said back to the two making Dan more nervous,  Olivia came running as well with Dan behind him.

"Awww" Olivia responded at the tree carving that said ' (Y/N) + Dan"

"I'm sorry, I didn't knew it was your tree" Dan apologized to Olivia.

"it's ok Dan, I'll let this slide" she said normally.

"Really?"

"Yes, if you let be your friend"

"Oh, if that's all then"  he got his pocket Knife out and started carving the tree again "there, how does it look now?" He asked as we saw the tree that now had  '(Y/N) + Dan + Olivia'

"it's think it looks better" i said as I hugged both Dan and Olivia.

5 months later

"But I don't wanna move out" i cried to my parents.

"Where sorry (Y/N), but you can make new friends at our new home" my dad said.

"But I don't want new friends, I wanna stay here with Dan and Olivia"

" (Y/N), sweetie, we know it's hard for you, but we need to move out from here " my mom said as i was about to cry from the news.

"We will leave in a month, so you should say goodbye to your friends before we leave"

"Ok" I left to my room and cried in my pillow knowing that I won't see my best friends again, I then heard my walkie talkie speak up.

" (Y/N),  come in (Y/N),  over" i heard Dan say on the device, I cleaned my tears and calmed down before answering.

"Yes Dan, this is (Y/N), over"

"Guess what, my parents said there gonna take me to the water park tomorrow, dosnt that sound awsome"

"Oh...yeah, it does" i said not that excited.

"Not only that, but they said I can take you and Olivia with me"

"Wait really?"

"Yes, I'm gonna call Olivia to give her the news now, I'll see you tomorrow"

I put the walkie talkie down with a smile now, if I have a month left then I should make the best of it with my friends.

So I left to tell my parents the news.

The next day

"Thanks for inviting us Dan, your the best" Olivia said as we all sat in the back seats of the car.

"No problem, your my friends after all"

I was still nervous about telling them that I was moving out and was thinking about how to tell them the news.

" (Y/N)!" I heard them shout bringing me back.

"Are you alright (Y/N)" Olivia asked.

"You've been this nervous ever since we picked you up" Dan said with a worried expression.

"Me, oh I'm ok, I'm just having a moment"

Time later we where at the water park, ad we all had our swim suits on, me my trousers,  Olivia a small two piece swimsuit, and Dan some shorts with a shirt on.

We played around all day, having to much fun that I forgot about me moving.

"And that when I *swish*" Dan was saying before we all got soaked with water.

"Pffffffft, that was fun" I said spilling the water out of my mouth.

"Yeah, no kid- oh no"  Dan said before panicking.

"What wrong" i asked.

"Hmm, nothing, just gotta use the bathroom" Dan said as he rushed to the bathroom.

"is he ok" Olivia asked.

"Yeah, he always acts wierd ever since... hey, it's the friendship bracelet he made for us, maybe that's why he's freaking out" i said while Olivia grabbed the bracelet from the ground.

"Dont worry, I'll return it to him" and she left to return it.

While I was alone I decided to put my feet on the pool and just wonder around... and soon enough both Dan and Olivia came back, but Dan had a blush on his face while Olivia was normal.

"Hey guys...um, is everything ok Dan?"

"Hmm, yeah...it-its all good" he said nervously, I looked at Olivia and she shrugged with a smile on her face.

Three weeks later

"Come on (Y/N), you can do it" I said to myself as i was preparing myself  to tell both Dan and Olivia about the truth, I told them to meet me in the park at noon so hopefully they arrive soon.

Two hours have passed and I was sitting down on the grass still waiting for them, but this wasn't surprising because ever since we went to the water park both Dan and Olivia have hanged out more often, they left me out on most of there activitys and he even tells her secrets he doesn't even tell me.

I start to tear up as i saw the park clock hit 3 pm, it's about time pass another hour and  they still haven't showed up, feeling betrayed I got up and got the bracelet out of my arm throwing it to the ground and stomping on it before running  back home crying...

Present

"Hmm" i got up from my bed and looked around, I was in my room meaning that the memory I had was a dream.

"Right, how could I forget" i got up and started preparing myself for school.

That dream wasn't that surprising since I came back home two days ago, th school I was in before decided to transfer me here, which was super exciting for me, Yaaaay.

Once I was ready i got my backpack and headed to school while seeing all of the places I have been as a kid when I was still here on the way.

Time skip

I made it to school and walked to the class entrance, I knocked the door to signify the teacher I was here.

"Alright class, the transferred student is here, so let's give him a proper welcome... you can come in"

I opened the door and entered making my way to the front of the class.

"Hello everyone, nice to meet you all, my name is-"

" (Y/N)!" I heard someone say, looking at the class I saw a girl standing with a very happy look.

"O-olivia!?" She ran towards me and nuzzled her head on my chest.

"i missed you so much (Y/N), what happened, all of a sudden you disappeared" i grew an annoyed face from hearing that.

"Miss Olivia, please remain in your seat" she let go hesitantly and sat back on her desk "ok mister (Y/N),  please continue"

"Ok, I am (Y/N),  in case you didn't catch that already, and I came back here after moving out 7 years ago"

"Ok (Y/N),  why not take a seat next to Olivia"

Great, I walked to the seat and sat down, the class went in as normal only with Olivia sending a paper wrapped up, I opened it and saw it was the bracelet I threw away years ago, I looked at Olivia back and saw her with a friendly smile.

Time skip

At lunch i was at a lonely table not wanting to grab the attention of Olivia and possibly Dan if he's here.

"Hi (Y/N)" Olivia said sitting next to me.

"What do you want Olivia" i said rudely.

"Nothing, just want to hang out with you, it's been 7 years since we last did that remember"

"Right, just like how the last time I wanted to hang out with you and Dan you both diched me" Olivia then had a face of guilt.

"But, there's a reason why we didn't go" she said in her defense.

"Oh really, well I'm listening"

"i... i can't" i had an unsurprised face.

"And why is that?"

"Be-because I promised Danny that-"

"Danny? What are you two dating so you can call eachother nicknames now"

"What!? No, what are you talking about?"

"What am I talking about? I'm talking about how the last month I was here you two just put me aside while you both had fun without me"

"What, we didn't... oh" she tried to counter but stopped realizing my anger.

"Here, give this back to Dan" i said handing her the bracelet.

"... (Y/N),  Im Sorry for leaving you behind back then, but he reason why I didn't go was because Danny was going through some problems-"

"-so you decided to stay by his side yatayata, yeah I get it" I said taking a bite on my lunch, this hit Olivia hard since she was about to cry with a very sad expression, and it made me feel sorry "Fine, I get it, you where just there for Dan when he needed help" i said putting my hand on her head "Thanks for taking care of my best friend" i said smiling making Olivia look at me, she started to cry and i hugged her the make her feel better.

"I'm so sorry (Y/N)" she repeated as she cried in my chest while I rubbed her hair to calm her down.

After school

"Alright books, this will be your new home now" i said to myself after finding my locker and opening it.

"Hey (Y/N)" I heard Olivia say as i stored my books in he locker.

"Hi Olivia, what's up?"

"Oh nothing, just here to give you this" she handed me a note with cursive writing in it.

I so sorry for leaving you behind when you where still here, I wish to apologies to you In person for so many things, so please come to our friendship tree after school, I miss you so much that I can't wait to see you again

"Oh, since when did Dan get so fancy"

"So, are you gonna go?"

"Sure, why not,  I also miss him" Olivia then giggled "What's so funny?"

"Oh nothing" she said shrugging with a smile on her face.

Time skip

Well, the last time I remember walking here it was much more difficult then how it is now.

Making it to the tree I looked at the note again wondering how Dan would look like now, I layed back on the tree and waited, but as i did I heard some something from behind the tree.

"Ok calm down me, I can do this" i heard someone say, so I walked around the big tree and saw a girl that was looking the other way standing in a determined way "maybe this was a mistake, I should have put on my..."

"Um, hello there?" She yellped before turning around surprised and had a visible panicking face "oh hey, i saw you in my class today, what brings you here?" I asked nicely.

"D-d-da-d-dan"

"Dan? Well I'm sorry to say it but if your here to confess to him he's already taken by Olivia" the girls face then went red as steam came out of her head.

"What? N-n-no, I'm not here for that (Y/N)"

"Really? Then what for"

"I-i'm here for y-y-you" she said stuttering.

"...? Um, but I barely know you, how is it that..." i stopped realizing what she has in her arm "Wait a minute..." i grabbed her hand and lifted it u to examine her arm closer, this made the girl extra nervous, but I was more concentrated on her bracelet, I saw her face and remembered a picture of Dans face and they both matched eachother "Dan?" I said in conclusion.

"my name is actually Danielle, but you can still call me dan" she walked close to me "I-its been so long (Y/N)" she then hugged me and started crying "I'm so sorry... I'm sorry" she kept repeating, I was still in shock after discovering that Dan is a girl but I was able to hug her back.

"D-dan!? Your a girl?!"

"i, I'm sorry I didn't tell you this" she then let go of the hug and faced me "I'm very sorry for everything (Y/N), I didn't mean to leave you on the park alone, but since you said you had something to tell me and Olivia, I thought I should have also told you the truth about me, so I went in a dress to show you but I was so nervous of what would you say and afraid that you wouldn't want to be my friend anymore after knowing" she confessed.

"So, when we went to the water park and you and Olivia came back from the bathroom all wierd"

"Yeah, she saw i was a girl there, but I asked her to not tell you because of my fear of losing you" she said with a big blush on her face "And since she figured out I was a girl I felt more comfortable being able to talk about my girl problems to her, and I asked to hang around with her more" she started to tear up again "then the last day we saw you, we where hiding behind a tree, I didn't have the courage to tell you...but, if I knew you where moving the next day, then I wouldn't have cared about my fear" she started to cry from the memory, making me clean her tears away so she can face me.

"Don't cry Dan, you never cried before" she blushed beautifully as she stared into my eyes "I'm also sorry, I got mad at you and Olivia for a misunderstanding, i got jealous at you two for having a better relationship and I even gave away my friendship bracelet you made for me, so the real idiot here is me" i said looking ashamed, we hugged again crying till we felt better, but more importantly we wanted to fill that little gap we had in us ever since I left.

One month later

On a weekend afternoon, me, Danielle and Olivia came out from the movies after watching a romantic comedy together.

"That movie was so sweet, what do you two think" Olivia asked us while I threw the trash away.

"Umm, I say it was... ok" i said.

"Yeah, me to" Danielle agreed with me.

"Heeeey, if I remember correctly, (Y/N) bought himself a blue icee while he bought you a red one" she said like if she's on to something.

"Um yeah, so?" Danielle said confused.

"So why are your tongues purple?" She asked with wide smile on her face.

Me and Danielle looked at eachother surprised with a big visible blush.

"No reason" we both simply said smiling nervously.
