"Hey guys! I heard that the new fighter has got here, who is it!?" I asked both Ridly and K.rool while they where fighting as I jumped excitedly

"AGGGGG!!" Ridly shouted as he pointed to the door that leads to the main lobby

"Thanks Mr. Scary dragon" I said and he patted my head, I then left to the door and heard that there fight started again.

Once I entered the lobby I made my way to the reception desk getting my little sword out

"Excuse me" I asked the announcer guy who was talking with Joker "can you tell me where is the new fighter?"

"That way!" Joker said imitating the announcer's voice as he pointed to a door

"Thanks" and I ran again ready to meat the new Challenger

I opened the door and saw many people here celebrating the arrival of the new fighter, and since the room was crowded I had a hard time getting through, and by the end I had to squeeze myself through a pair of legs

"Al...most...there" I said and I poped out flinging me forward and hit someone by accident "oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you Mr. ..." I said looking up to who I bumped into, but this person was someone I never met before, as well as it not being a Mr. "Oh I'm sorry again Ms. I didn't knew you where a girl" I said nervously

Then the person crouched down and patted my head "it's ok there, the important thing is that your ok" the person said smiling, calming me

"Um excuse me but, who are you?"

"Why, my name is byleth, and I'll be the new Challenger here" after she said that I felt my whole body fill itself with joy and excitment

"Wait, the new Challenger!?" I said, but then I realized that no one was around me or byleth "hold on, Guys the new challenger is here, what are you all doing there?" I asked and I saw everyone cheering on another person with a cup for a head "Guys!?" I was confused at to why he looked so wired until I noticed his hand "oh"

"This is just like my introduction with the small skeleton" Terry said as he standard in a corner

"It's ok little guy, you can go celebrate the new costume for Gunner, I just wait here" byleth said with a sad look

"... No, your the real new challenger so I can't wait for a match with you" I said lifting my small sword up and byleth was flattered with my comment

"A-are you sure, you don't think I'm reused"

"Of course not, your not an echo-fighter, so your new to me" I said and I felt byleth pick me up and hugged me tightly

"Thank you, that means so much to me" Sha said happily

"Your... Welcome" I said as I felt as I was loosing my breath

After the celebration party for both byleth and the cuphead costume, they where now able to be chosen for fights, and many mache's have been made with the new fighters

A few days later

"Oh boy, maybe I will finally be In a match today" I said as I waited in line, and short after a saw byleth Next to me in line "hi byleth"

"Oh, hi (Y/N), i didn't see you there" she said looking down at me, and everyone gasped in horror after she said that

"It's ok, I get that a lot" I said and everyone was relieved, then they glared at byleth

"So... D-do you have any advice for me before my match?" She asked nervously

"Hmm, well Mr.DK has four types of spikes, Mr.Roy can counter any attack, and Ms. Zelda has a strong kick if she's in the air, also..." I then kept saying all the things she must be careful of from everyone "and Ms.inkling can cause more dameg points of your covered in her ink"

"Wow, you know everyone's special attacks, you must have fought them all already" she said surprised

"Well, I wish I did" I said smiling

"Next!" The announcer said, meaning it was my turn to see my upcoming matches "hmm, Byleth, your matches today are-" he said but was interrupted by me climbing his desk

"Phew, I'm next, so who will I fight today"

"Oh um, mini sword fighter" he said nervously

"You can call me (Y/N)" i said for the hundred time to him

"Right, well I'm Sorry (Y/N) But you have no matches today" he said upsetting me

"What? But, but why? I requested everyone yesterday"

"Well, you did do that, but no one requested you back, again , so you'll be having another day off today" he said patting my shoulder but I was to sad to respond, so I hopped of his desk with my head down

"anyways, I hope you win your matches byleth" I said putting a fake smile, and left slowly to my room

"Ok now, byleth, you have matches with-"

"I would like to take a match with (Y/N)" i heard and turned around, and everyone gasped again

"She can't be serious!?"

"Why him!?"

"AGGGGG!?" They all said worried

"Wait, but why him, there's many other great fighters to choose from"

"Because he was the first one to believe in me when I got here, so I feel like I should thank him with a fight"

"But-a in what-a world do you-a think fighting is-a way to-"

"Yay, I'm having my first match with byleth" I shouted excited and byleth came to Pat my head

Ten seconds later

Me and byleth where on a flat stage waiting for that match to start, everyone was at the side as well seeing me and byleth

"Hey guy's" I asked the crowd "was this wired wall behind me always there?!"

"Uumm no, since this is your first match the  beginners wall appears for you" Isabel said

"Oh, I didn't knew that"

(Que fighting polygon team music) "ready...GO!" The announcer said

"Ok byleth, don't go easy on me, use your strongest attack" I said and byleth got her axe ready, then I ran towards her with my sword ready to attack, but then byleth strikes her axe down and I received the hit, and it was so strong I got fourty damege points from it, and I hit the wall bounce me back at byleth who was lifting her axe up, but I got in her way and she hit me when she swinged upwards, and the last thing I heard was

"GAME!"

...

"...Ow, my arm" I said as I was waking up"

"(Y/N) your ok" I heard byleth said, then she  hugged me tighly

"Byleth, everything hurts" I said

"Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you" she said worried

"Don't worry byleth, I'll be fine soon, what happened though?"

"Well, because of your small weight and my strong attack, you where taken out with two hits from me"

"Oh..."

"I'm sorry (Y/N), i knew this was your first match and took you down so easily, please forgive me" she pledded

"Byleth, I already said it's fine, you won the match fare and square, so I'm happy for you"

"But aren't you upset that you lost"

"No, because after many years I finally had a match with someone, I already feel like my luck is gonna change from now on" I said trying to stand up and hugged byleth gently "thank you byleth, you are the greatest friend anyone could ever have"

I then felt byleth return the hug "no, your the greatest person anyone could ever meet, so please don't change"

"Don't worry, I won't" and after that I have had byleth fighting me for a long time, and was able to get good at fighting, getting the other fighters impressed

"I, I guess-a we where-a little hard on-a him, don't-a you think?"

"AGGGGG!"

"Be careful (Y/N), You wouldn't want to get hit would you" byleth shouted at me

"Relax, I only have over a hundred damege, I can still go on" I said as smoke came out of my body
