the way of water

After talking with Jake last night, Leyra was very tired today, but she had to go and practice more with the forest boys as they still don't know how to hold their breath properly underwater. She made her way to the beach, where Neteyam and Lo'ak waited for her.

"We're taking ilus, so you can practice riding on the way, to a beautiful place where we can practice breathing again." Leyra said as she approached them both, who were looking at her in a certain way. But Leyra wasn't sure what their glances mean.

"You look tired." Lo'ak pointed out.

"Yeah, I haven't got much sleep last night." She answered. Obviously the boys knew about the talk Leyra and their father had. Jake had told them and warned them to go easy on her because of her difficult past, but the two wouldn't question her about it. She should talk with them about it when she's ready.

"And because I am tired as hell, I'm riding with one of you." She said, looking at them and waiting for one of them to volunteer. Lo'ak and Neteyam shared a look, knowing what the other wants without words.

"You can go with me." Lo'ak smiled at her while taking her hand in his and guiding her to the sea. Neteyam followed them while he looked at their intervened hands. They all three still had to talk about what the brothers had going on with her but they wouldn't pressure her. They wanted her to be comfortable around them and not scare her away.

Lo'ak called his ilu with a clicking sound and made the bond quickly when it arrived. He swung his leg around the back of the animal and pulled Leyra behind him.

"Hold on tightly, sweetheart." He said and pulled her arms around his waist. Leyra got flustered because she was literally pressed against Lo'ak's back because they weren't moving yet. "Show me the way with your hands, alright?" Lo'ak said and Leyra nodded her head in response. Lo'ak felt her movement behind him and got in better position to start swimming.

"I'm gonna be behind you." Neteyam said beside them while looking at Leyra. He actually wanted her to ride with him but he let his brother to take over today, because he hadn't spend much time with Leyra yesterday. And spending time with either of them Leyra eventually could make out her feelings for them.

Lo'ak's hand reached behind him to grab Leyra's thigh to help steady her on the ilu and Leyra hold on to him tighter with one arm around his waist. Her other arm was laying on Lo'ak's outstretched arm, with whom he hold on to the ilu. With little strokes on the right or left side of his arm she showed him the direction to the place instead of waving her hand in the water. She laid her head against his back to look to the side were Neteyam was riding his ilu. Enjoying the ride she gave Neteyam a smile as their locked their eyes on each other. His gaze let the butterflies in her stomach flatter fast.

Her touch made Lo'ak a little bit nervous so his riding was a little messy and his thoughts wandered to a whole other direction. Her hand on his lower belly set a fire in his body and he quickly glanced down his body. If they aren't at the place in a few minutes, the whole ride will turn out embarrassing for him. Unconsciously Leyra moved her hand slightly lower on his stomach and his hand squeezed her thigh in response. Leyra wasn't dumb, she knew the effects of touching the lower belly of a male has. But teasing him wasn't evil, right?

She left a small kiss on his shoulder blade which shouldn't be much noticeable because they are still underwater but Lo'ak felt like it burned his skin. In a good way. The feeling of her lips against his body shot straight to his manhood and he had to squeeze her thigh again because he needed to let his frustration out in some way. Leyra liked the rough touch on her thigh and got turned on a little bit too but that didn't stop her to get further.

She slightly kisses his neck and her fingertips are at the start of his cloth. Lo'ak knew she was teasing him intentionally and his heartbeat fastened. He couldn't control his growing bulge anymore because if Leyra would go further down she would be touching him.

Lo'ak lost his breath now and moved to the surface quickly. Breaking the surface he let out a breath and tried to control his heart again but he heard Leyra chuckling quietly behind him.

"You can't just touch me there and expect that nothing happens down there." Lo'ak whisper yelled to her and looked down his body again. He groaned. How should he hide it before his brother sees it.

"Good to know that the smallest touch turns you on." She smirked. His eyes darkened when he looked back at her and grabbed her chin to force her to look at him.

"If Neteyam weren't here, I would drag you to the nearest beach and take you so hard you would forget your own name, Leyra." He slowly said and his eyes were radiating danger. Her eyes widened a little at his response. She hadn't expected that. She bit on her lower lip to restrain herself from saying that she gladly wanted him to take her and fuck her till she forgets everything she knew.

The sound of Neteyam breaking to the surface broke their intense stare and made them look to him. Leyra's cheeks were a deep shade of red and Lo'ak's breathing was unsteady.

"Are we there?" He asked but he noticed that their behavior had changed. He knew Lo'ak wouldn't do any physical with her because they promised each other to do nothing before they talked with Leyra about their feelings. He noticed Lo'ak's look on his face and connected the dots. He smirked at Lo'ak who only rolled his eyes at him.

Leyra looked around and noticed they really have arrived at the place she wanted to go. "Yeah, we arrived. Just follow me." She answered Neteyam's question and started swimming towards a set of big stones near the beach. She heard glimpses of the conversation the two brothers had started.

"At least control yourself, when she's around." Neteyam said smirking at his younger brother.

"How can I, when she is so fucking close to me?" He answered pressed. "And she was also teasing me!" Neteyam only laughed at that and swam quickly after Leyra.

"Now sit across from each other." Leyra demanded the boys. "Synchronize your breathing." The boys sat in front of each other cross-legged and listened to Leyra's teaching. Looking at each other they tried to do what she's telling them but somehow it doesn't work.

"Feel the other breathing." She took Neteyam's hand and put it on Lo'ak's chest and did the same with Lo'ak's hand. She pressed each of her hands on theirs and closed her eyes. "Feel the heartbeat of the other. Feel the joy and the pain of the other."

"Is this a brother therapy or what?" Lo'ak asked jokingly.

"If you don't take this seriously, go." Leyra opened her eyes and glared at him. "Sorry." He whispered and closed his eyes again.

"Breath from here." She lowered her hand on their lower bellies. "Breath in through the nose." She inhaled through the nose. "And breath out through the mouth." Both boys do that with her.

"Do it again and count to five in your head while you hold your breath." Leyra said softly. They all are now in a calm state. "One, two, three, four, five." She whispers slowly and then stood up. She collected two large seashells from the edge of the rocks.

"Let's get into the water together." She walked into the water and the boys watched her before they followed her.

"Remember, the way of water has no beginning and no end."

She threw the bluish and reddish seashells into the deep clear water for the boys as an exercise to hold their breath as long as they search for the seashells.

"The sea is around you and within you."

Leyra put her hand over her heart and closed her eyes for a few seconds.

"The sea is your home, before your birth and after your death."

She motioned with her hand that the two should go under water now and search for the seashells. Neteyam and Lo'ak did the breathing exercise, they did a few minutes ago, again and then dived into the water for the search of the seashells.

The ocean animals looked at them curiously as their skin color didn't camouflage them in the water, but the two were mesmerized by the different kinds of animals around them. Some of them came very closely and brushed over their skin.

"Our hearts beat in the womb of the world."

They were at least twenty meters under the surface and neither of them felt out of breath. Leyra's exercises indeed helped them holding their breath longer than before.

"Our breath burns in the shadows of the deep. The sea gives and the sea takes."

Neteyam spotted the seashells first and pointed to them for Lo'ak to see. Nodding to each other they swam down to the sea ground and collected the seashells before slowly going back to the surface.

"Water connects all things. Life to death. Darkness to light."

Lo'ak and Neteyam each held the seashells up in the air for Leyra to see after they broke the surface and looked at her with smiles on their faces.

"You did it, guys!" Leyra exclaimed happily while pulling both of them into a tight hug. "You did it without coming up to take a breath."

"Yeah, your breathing exercises are really helping." Neteyam answered in the crook of her neck and his hot breath gave her goosebumps all over her body. The slight coldness of the water didn't help her either. She broke away from them and looked at both.

"Let's get back to the village." She said.

Near the village Tsireya, Kiri and Tuk were underwater, where they are collecting plants and fruits together. The sun is setting and underwater its getting darker and darker. In the dark the ocean is more alive than during the day. Every plant and animal, and Na'vi are glowing.

"I want to show you something." Tsireya signed to the girls, even though they still couldn't really understand the Na'vi sign language, so Tsireya motioned with her hand to follow her. She swam to a coral reef where pink glowing sea creatures were attached. They were floating beautifully in the water. Kiri and Tuk followed Tsireya and were captured by the jelly like creature in front of them.

Tsireya gently grabbed the animal and got behind Kiri. She attached the animal on her back and turned her around to face her.

"It allows you to breath under water." Tsireya signed to Kiri and Tuk, but the little girl was rather confused. Kiri knew what Tsireya meant as she took a deep breath with the help from the sea creature. That would make life much easier underwater.

Tsireya put another animal like that on Tuk's back and the girl was happy to have some help for breathing. She swam a little bit away from the two older girls to further explore the sea-life, but staying in sight for them if something happens or for when it's time to go.

Tsireya and Kiri were looking in each others eyes deeply and got closer. Kiri captured her cheek and pulled her face to her own. They lips met and the sweet, gentle kiss got more heated and they body's were pressing against each other. They knew that other Na'vi were around them so they slowly broke the kiss and smiled at each other.

Ronal, Tsireya's mother, was looking at her daughter and her lover curiously from far away as she was collecting plants that had healing powers. She wasn't a fan of Tsireya's choice of lover as Kiri wasn't a member of their clan but whatever or whoever her daughter chooses, she always would be happy for her. She saw in Kiri's behavior that she really liked Tsireya and that was the only thing that matters for Ronal. Tsireya deserved all the love of the world and especially the love like Ronal had for her mate Tonowari.

The two girls separated and went their own way. Kiri was still breathing with the help of the sea creature and swam to a swarm of fishes to observe them more closely. Usually fishes would flee from the harsh movements but when Kiri got beside them they were very calm. Kiri moved her hand from side to side and the fishes suddenly synchronized with the movement of her hand. It seems like she was  controlling them as she watched them excited.

She truly was something special, Tsireya thought as she looked at Kiri from a distance, where she was now helping her mother. Ronal glanced in the direction where her daughter was looking. She never saw someone who could control the sea animals without a bond. She needed to know which powers Kiri had.
