Steve walked into the principals office with big hopes. "Ah Steve, how is everything?"

"Fine sir, I just well.. I want to join the basketball team. I'm a part of swim because well everyone can do it but.. I really want to be a part of the basketball team."

"Steve the only sports and extra curriculum activities you are permitted are swim team, photography club, yearbook, dungeons and dragons club, band, choir, or cheerleading."

Steve lowered his eyes. "Sir, I'm not female. Just because I am an omega doesn't mea-."

"Basketball and football would be unsafe for you. The teams are comprised of 95% alpha. The betas that make up the 5% usually end up injured. You would have to miss games due to your heat. You could do cheerleading, that would allow you to still be on court. Is that not compromise enough? Steve Harrington we do our very best to protect our omega students. Many omegas go to private schools but we have made exceptions for the omegas who wanted to have a normal high school experience. We already make exceptions for you to take classes here, we already make sure during your heat you still get the best education you can get. You can join the cheerleading squad. Or no sports."

"But sir I."

"You can join cheerleading or no sports."

"Fine sir.. I'll join the cheerleading thank you. I'll go to their tryouts instead.."

Steve walked out of the room and felt tears running down his cheeks within seconds. He pushed past people to get to the omega and beta female bathroom. He dropped to the floor sobbing hard. All he wanted to do was play sports, cheerleading by all means was a sport and a hard one at that but he wanted to play basketball. He kept crying until he heard a voice. "Stevie what's going on?" Steve looked up and he saw Chrissy standing over him. He wiped his face a bit. "Do I need to get Eddie and Billy? Or Nancy, Robin and Jonathan?"

"No! Oh they're gonna laugh..."

"What's wrong honey?" She asked sitting in front of him on her knees.

"I went in to see the principal.. I wanted to join basketball.. he told me I couldn't.. I.. I want to play so bad Chrissy.."

She frowned and then hugged him. "What else, there is something else wrong I can tell."

"Don't take this the wrong way, because I really do see how hard cheerleading is but he told me the only sport I could do is cheer.. I don't want to walk around school in a skirt...I already have a hard time with being one of the few omegas in the school.. the only male omega..."

Chrissy frowned and crossed her arms. "Who's giving you a hard time?"

"A few idiot alphas.. just a few no-."

"You're going to give me names. Then Eddie, Jonathan, Billy, Nancy, Robin, and I will be making sure they don't walk for a few weeks. Now you and I are going to be cheerleading sisters." She held out her hand. "I'm cheer captain you're already on and I know you're athletic and we can spend some time as friends at my house to learn the routines. Come on I'll help you find the right side for your hips."

"My heats are bi monthly." Steve muttered.

"I know. I will make sure you can always join in if you want, and during your heat weeks we won't worry alright?" Steve thanked her and followed her out of the bathroom towards the omega and female betas locker room. The two looked over a few different sized skirts till they found the right one. "Want to know a secret?"

Steve nodded and looked her up and down. "Yeah..."

"I don't just have this skirt on." She lifted her fabric up to show off a pair of compression shorts. "I've got some extras I bought the wrong size. It will work since we have the same lower bits." She beamed.

Steve blushed profusely. Being a male omega was weird. His hormones were a mix of male and female but he was designated as a male omega. He had a different genetic make up, he wasn't an official female but he couldn't be considered male either.

He was scientifically a third gender.

Hardly anyone looked at him that way though, until he was in a skirt or a dress. His scent also gave him away pretty quickly, he smelt of chocolate ice-cream. Only omegas had sweet scents. Chrissy helped him into the compression shorts. "Now if anyone bothers you sweetie I will crush them okay?"

She smiled sweetly but if Steve was being honest she made him a bit nervous. She was one of the kindest betas he knew, but he knew if anyone hurt her friends she wasn't against sicking an angry alpha on them. Steve put his top on and followed Chrissy out to the halls of the school and he instantly felt all eyes on him.

"It's alright honey, no ones gonna hurt you. Plus you look great in green."

"Thank you Chrissy." Steve smiled, she took his hand in hers and led him towards the lunchroom.

"You still owe me a list of names."

"Of course, after lunch though." Steve replied hoping she would just forget about it. She just smiled and nodded dragging him in for lunch. Steve felt people watching him, and the two alphas he actually wanted to see him in the outfit weren't even there. "Where are my alphas?" Steve questioned.

"Not sure I can find them once we get you something okay?"

Steve nodded and sat down on his packs usual table. Chrissy patted his head and padded off to see if she could find Eddie and Billy. The two boys were complete opposites but Steve had fallen head over heals for them both and they fell head over heals for him. At first the two alphas tried to fight over the little omega but found very quickly that they needed to share him or they'd both end up losing. The only thing they really shared in common was some drugs, the love of their omega, and their long hair. Steve loved them both and happily would do anything they wished. The two alphas even found love through one another with Steve as their omega.

Nancy, Robin, and Jonathan sat down at their table and smiled. "So you're cheer team now?" Robin asked wiggling her eyebrows. "You're going to get me some hot chicks right?"

"Right," Steve high fived her. "Chrissy helped me find the right size."

"Where is Chrissy?" Nancy questioned.

"She went to find my alphas." He remarked.

Jonathan nodded and snuggled into Nancy. The three betas chatted happily about Steve's new costume and how well he looked in it. That was when their pack heard two distinct "What's" coming from the opposite end of the hall. Steve looked up to see his alphas barreling into the cafeteria. Billy stopped dead in his tracks and Steve got up to say hi.

"Oh honey," Billy howled a bit in excitement, "you look amazing."

"You really think so?" Steve asked softly.

"We know so pretty thing." Eddie agreed coming up behind him and hugging him tight. Steve preened under their approval as Billy joined the cuddle pile. Steve felt them both leave kisses on his neck and cheeks.

Chrissy skipped up with a big smile. "So I did good?"

"More than good Chrissy, perfect." Billy whistled as he circled Steve once again. "Damn Stevie you're a prize."

Steve was blushing hard. Eddie was giddy, he loved Steve more then anything and seeing him dressed up like this was making it hard to focus. Steve was actually kind of excited now that all his pack seemed happy about him joining the cheer team even if he wanted to be part of the basketball first.

"Mega," Billy mused leaning over the table towards him. Steve looked up only to receive a kiss, he chirped happily. Eddie smirked and kissed Billy's cheek before giving Steve a kiss too. Steve loved his alphas and loved the attention he received. "So this means you can cheer for my games," Billy smirked leaning back.

"Balls in hoops." Eddie grinned.

Billy rolled his eyes. "Hey he plays with your dice club every once in a while, and always comes to my games just like you do, so now we get to watch him cheer in that pretty little outfit."

Eddie thought for a moment before throwing his arm around Billy's shoulder. "Win Win."

Steve blushed again, he was giving off a pleased scent which was calming to all of them. Two alphas walked past and stopped to look at Steve, Steve bristled a little bit and then Chrissy's eyes got wide. "It's them isn't it." The two alphas took off down the hall.

"Chrissy!" Steve groaned. "You weren't supposed t-."

"Have they been picking on you Stevie?" Billy asked flicking the toothpick he had been chewing to the table.

"Just comments that's all.. it isn't that bad alpha I-."

"No no, they deserves some punishment for even talking to you." Eddie snapped cracking his knuckles a bit. "Let alone upsetting you. Want to make some idiots pay Bills?"

"More then you know Eddie," Billy stood up. "We will be back baby, Nance, Robin. Chrissy, Jonathan keep him safe."

"Yes alpha." They chimed together.

Steve lowered his head. Eddie and Billy headed out of the cafeteria and right for the alphas. "Chrissy..."

"You said you would give me a list, now we don't need it." Chrissy smiled rubbing his cheek. "Your alphas love you, we are a pack Stevie. The four of us betas are supposed to look out for you, and our alphas are always going to protect you. Even when you don't want them too. So I'm sorry, but if someone is hurting our omega we are going to do something about it."

Steve smiled softly at her. Robin rubbed his hand and Nancy sat beside him and began to fix his hair for him knowing it was something he cared about. Jonathan kept watch better then the others, he was the only male beta of their pack not including the pups and he was going to take his job seriously. The girls could comfort, he could watch.

The lunch bell rang, Chrissy and Robin walked Steve to class. Nancy and Jonathan had yearbook responsibilities to attend to but made sure he got there through the grapevine. Steve was jittery, he hoped his alphas were okay. He hadn't heard anything about what was going on.

Chrissy was in his class and made sure he stayed calm. As the next class bell rang Steve headed to his locker, he felt a hand on his shoulder and turned. Eddie and Billy were standing side by side. "They won't be bothering you anymore alright baby boy." Billy promised, Steve smiled and felt Billy's lips on his forehead. Eddie kissed his cheek and hugged him. "We can't wait to see you cheer Steve, Chrissy told us you were worried we would laugh. There is nothing funny about it, you look amazing and you're gonna be great. We know it. Don't we Eddie."

"Oh yeah Bills, you look wonderful. Even though I'm not a big sports guy I know you'll do great and now you can cheer for Billy during his games from somewhere other then the stands. We know you want to be on court, so Billy and I agreed that the three of us can play games at home together okay? Chrissy said she would help you with routines, and we want to make sure you're happy mega. Even though we know you want to be on the court we can't give you that. We can give you private games at home though."

Steve blushed and kissed them each. "I'm going to hold you to that, both of you."

He was thankful both of his alphas, even despite their differences, loved him and care enough about him to let him do things most omegas didn't get to do. They nuzzled their omega happily. They couldn't wait to watch Steve cheer, but they especially couldn't wait to play basketball together when no one else was around so they could just be free and happy.
