Lena sucked at just about any type of video game. She was quite good with board games but she could never get the hang of playing any console. 

However, that didn't stop Lena from joining you whenever a new game was released and you ended up buying it. She would try to play it with you but ultimately would just watch you play when she realized that she wasn't going to get past the level. 

Seeing her get a little annoyed at the game, made you want to buy a multiplayer game with her so you could go play against each other. You thought her how to play and explained how to get the most points but she was still bad. 

Its when you decided to subtly let her win. Losing a couple of points here and there that weren't noticeable until the end and every time the 'Winner' title appeared in Lena's screen, you couldn't help but smile with her. She was clearly happy at her improved skills and you figured it was worth losing every time to her.
