Lena was never one to crave things. With the exception of being when she was pregnant. It's why when she had to,d you that she had been craving some baby back ribs, you cancelled all your meetings the very next day and head out to buy all the ingredients plus extra to make sure you made no mistakes while cooking them.

To actually surprise, you had asked Alex if she could lend you her kitchen. Once you practically threatened her to let you use it, you sent Lena a text to let her know you'll be late and began to make the food.

Lena had come home from work late at night when she heard you'll be late. Lauren was currently at Kara's so she didn't have to worry about picking her up. It was quite late when Lena had arrived, that she was honestly surprised to see that you still weren't home. She tried staying up for you but by 11:00pm, she knocked out.
