Lena had been in the middle of an important meeting when Jess came in saying that Leon was calling nonstop. She rushed outside, taking the call to see what was going in. It was unusual for him to be calling a bunch of times that Lena began to worry.

"Leon! Are you okay? What's going on? What happened?"

Leon chuckled, both of his mom's were always so worried when something was just a little out of place. He loved how overprotective they could be but sometimes it was too much.

"I'm fine mum, I just need a ride. I think mom forget to send me a message to take the bus or something since she has yet to pick me up?"

"She what?!"

Leon wince at her loud tone and pulled the phone away as she began to say how much trouble you were going to be in.

"It's fine. I'm sure she got held up at a meeting or something. You know how she can get like you when it comes to work.

"I'll deal with her later when I get home. I'll pick you up in a couple of minutes. Don't move."

Lena headed back inside the meeting to apologize about having to cut the meeting early but promising to resume tomorrow. With that said, she left to go pick up Leon.

It didn't take long for Lena to arrive home and find you sleeping on the couch like if you hadn't forgotten to pick up your kid. She grabbed a pillow, hitting your arm with it. 

"Wha-What's going on?" You woke up alarmed, thinking something was wrong.

"Oh let's see, the fact that you forgot to pick up our son."

Your eyes widened and grabbed your phone to check that you had snoozed your alarm and had so many missed calls from Leon.

"I'm sorry! It was an accident. I've been so tired from this project and I thought it was okay to take a nap."

Lena sighs, feeling bad. She takes a seat besides you, holding you as she talked. 

"I get that you were tired but Leon was your responsibility today. Please don't let it get a habit."

You promised and closed your eyes again, thinking that all was forgiven.

"But you're sleeping on the couch today. Nothing goes unpunished, you know that."
