Lexi's POV:

"So...this is the lobby, this is where you usually pass by when you're heading to another class and there's the office here if you ever need to go to the office." I glanced at Louis. "I don't want to be rude, but you understand what I'm saying, right?"

Louis blinked and quickly nodded. "Oh sorry, yeah. I got it. Lobby, the place where you pass by when heading to classes and also the place you go through if you need to go to the office."

For the rest of the time remaining of first period, I showed Louis the major parts of the school, places such as the cafeteria, the gym, and more.

I heard the bell ring for the end of first period. "I've got to head to class now, but I hope you'll find your next class!" I smiled at him and started to walk away. However, I didn't make it far before I felt a hand on my shoulder.

I turned around, seeing Louis. "Did you need something?"

"Well, the vice principal told me that my classes are going to be whatever your classes are so I kinda have to follow you." Louis cocked his head at me.

"Oh, alright." I nodded, walking towards my next class alongside him.

"Could you maybe introduce me to your friends?" Louis suddenly said. "If that's okay with you, I mean. I know nobody here so it would be nice to know some people, you know?"

I paused, "I don't see any harm in it."

Louis grinned. "Thanks, Lexi."

"You're welcome." I slightly grinned back. I glanced at Louis. The longer I looked at him, the longer I found him attractive, but I really did need to stop. There were thousands of other girls at this school wanting to date him already, and he could possibly already have a girlfriend! I shook those thoughts out of my head and quickened my walking pace. Since our class was on the other side of the school, it was almost time for class to start.

"Saved by the bell, lucky you, and-  Who is this?" My math teacher, Mr. Johnson, asked.

"I'm Louis Partridge. You may know me as the new student." Louis introduced himself.

"Of course! Welcome Louis, I'm Mr. Johnson. You may sit next to Lexi since you two seem like you've already met." Mr. Johnson said with a smile.

I sat down behind Tiffany. "Hey, Tiff!" I whispered.

"Is he why you missed your first period?" Tiffany asked.

I nodded. "Apparently he's in the room next-"

"Ms. Roberts! I appreciate that you brought Mr.Partridge here, but this is math class, not socializing class. Pay attention, you can talk later. Now since you were talking already, could you tell me what x is, if x+23x is 48?" Mr. Johnson asked.

"The answer is two," Louis whispered.

I hesitantly looked at Louis, then answered. "Is it two?"

"Correct. But please pay attention now." Mr. Johnson told me.

After the lesson, Mr. Johnson gave the class some work time. Unfortunately, I was stuck on question 8, which Tiffany didn't know the answer to either.

I peered over to Louis and saw that he was zooming past the questions, so I tapped his arm. "Psst. Louis!"

Louis looked over at me. "Yeah? What's up?"

I glanced back at my math worksheet. "I'm stuck on question 8, so I was wondering if you could help me?"

Louis quickly explained the question to me, which I thanked him for and explained to Tiffany as well.

A few minutes later the bell rang, and it was recess. Almost forgetting Louis, I walked out the door with Tiffany, laughing about a story she was telling me.

Louis quickly caught up to us, and cleared his throat."So, uh, is this your friend?" Louis asked, pointing at Tiffany.

I widened my eyes, realizing I had forgotten to keep my promise of introducing him to my friends. "Oh shit, I totally forgot. Tiffany this is Louis, Louis this is Tiffany." I said, introducing them to one another.

"Nice to meet you, Tiffany." Louis held his hand out for Tiffany to shake. "Nice to meet you too." Tiffany smiled and shook his hand.

"Wait here, I'm going to get a snack from the cafeteria," I stated and quickly bought a croissant.

"Alright, now what do I have next again?" I tried getting my schedule sheet out of my backpack but wasn't able to reach it with one hand.

"Here, let me help." Louis unzipped my backpack and got my schedule sheet out.

"Thanks," I said.

Once I had taken a look at my schedule, I found out that I had Science next.

"We have Science next, we better get going. Bye Tiffany!" I said, waving at her with my non-croissant holding hand. As Louis and I walked to Science, I noticed that he kept glancing at my croissant.

"Do you want some?" I asked Louis.

Louis was startled. "Ah, no. I think I'll be alright-" He rambled, but stopped talking as I handed him an untouched part of the croissant to Louis.

"I didn't touch that part of the croissant. It's all yours." I said. "Oh, uh thanks," Louis replied, then started to eat it.

Science went by pretty quicker than I had expected, and by the looks of Louis's constant participation and right answers in class, it was clear he was a smart student.
