Ella's POV:

Louis had warned me about Tiffany.

He told me that Tiffany threatened to make Lexi's life at school horrible if either of them told anybody else about Hannah and Tiffany's- no, Tiffany's "karma" that she gave to Lexi for "leaving" her for Louis.

I had told Tiffany that Louis had told me about what Tiffany had done to Lexi (which was my mistake since Tiffany could try to do worse things to Lexi), but now that I got the voice recording as proof that Tiffany did it, she wouldn't dare to sabotage Hannah, Lexi or I.

Poor Hannah. She had been threatened and manipulated this whole time!

The bell rang, and I huffed in annoyance.

Tiffany had wasted my breakfast time.

At least I had gotten the voice recording though! I smiled to myself.

Walking towards class, I saw Louis and Lexi.

Lucky her, I thought.

To be honest, I was a real bitch to Lexi at first

 I was jealous that she got all of Louis's attention- I mean, who wouldn't be jealous?

Louis was attractive, skateboarded, played piano, and got straight A+s. 

The boy was practically everything anybody could ask for!

I spotted Hannah in the hallways, so I rushed over to her and pulled her aside.

Hannah looked nervous, frightened even.

"Hey, I found out about Tiffany threatening you. I dealt with it, Tiffany shouldn't be messing with your or Lexi anymore, okay?" I told her, as Hannah nodded.

"H-how did you deal with her? How can you be so sure that she won't do it again?" Hannah furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

"Well, I-," I stopped and pulled out my phone. "It'll be easier if I just show you."

I played Hannah the voice recording, as I saw her eyes fill up with tears.

As the voice recording ended, Hannah looked up to me and gave me a hug.

"Thank you so so so so much, Ella. I didn't know what to do and it was so much to me and" Hannah rambled on, as I stopped her, pulling away from the hug.

"It's nothing, really. But don't tell anyone other than Lexi or Louis about the voice recording. Lexi and Louis should have the voice recording now, so they know about it, but we're not going to use the voice recording until we really need it." I explained.

Hannah nodded, "Okay, thanks again, Ella." 

I smiled, then gently nudged her and pointed to Lexi. "Best you go explain everything to her now."

Hannah smiled, before rushing off to Lexi.

Lexi seems like a nice kid, I should have been nicer to her than be a bitch who tries to steal Louis away from her, I thought.

Hannah's POV:

Lexi was heading into class, so I quickly caught up to her.

"Hey, Lexi." I tapped her shoulder, looking back at me, then looking at me suspiciously, "What do you want? Do you wanna spread more rumors about me? Or maybe you want to leave rude notes in my locker." She said sarcastically.

Louis glanced at Lexi, as she told him she'd sit down beside him later.

Louis looked at me, then hesitantly sat down.

"No it isn't like that, it's not like that at all. I just wanted to apologize-" I started saying, as the teacher told us to sit down.

"Talk to me after class." Lexi sighed, as she went and sat down beside Louis.

I sat down a few desks away from Lexi as she gave me a glance, then got to doing her work.

I sighed, then got to writing down notes of what ur teacher had up on the board.

One more hour to go, I guess.

The bell rang. Class was over.

Finally, I thought.

I looked over to Lexi who was talking to Louis, laughing. I gathered my binders and stuffed them into my bag. 

As I got out of the class, I waited outside the door so I could talk to Lexi.

Lexi came out of class a few minutes later.

"Next period is really soon so hurry if you wanna tell me something," Lexi said, as she looked at me.

Louis was standing a few feet away from Lexi, leaning against the wall and looking at his phone.

Once most of our classmates were gone, I started talking.

"About the note thing.." I muttered, not being able to have eye contact with Lexi, "Tiffany used me. She lied and threatened to make me lose all my friends. I didn't think it through and I really wasn't trying to hurt you in the process. I'm really sorry, Lexi. I was a horrible friend but I really didn't want to, Lexi, you have to believe me, please!" I clutched onto Lexi's arm.

Louis looked up from his phone from my sudden cry and put his phone away in his pocket.

"And why should I believe you? After all the things that you and Tiffany have done to me? How can I trust that you aren't lying so you can spread rumors about me again?!" Lexi glared at me.

"Look, I know it's hard to believe, I would say the same things if I were you, but..." I said, trying to think of what I could use as evidence to regain Lexi's trust.

"Louis. Louis, can you open the message Ella sent you?" I asked him, as he nodded, quickly pulling out his phone.

He unlocked his phone and went to his messages, and played the voice recording Ella had sent him.

"I warned Ella in case something like this would happen.....I just can't believe she got it recorded!" Louis exclaimed, shocked.

"You...talked to Ella about this?!" Lexi turned to Louis, "She specifically told us that if we told anybody she'd ruin my life!"

Louis shook his head. "I know that silly, that's why I told Ella privately!"

"Okay, but what if Tiffany found out about that? Then even more people would have been talking behind my back!" Lexi pointed out.

"I get your point, but that didn't happen, and we have the upper hand now!" Louis smirked.

"I'm really sorry. I wouldn't have helped Tiffany but I was so scared my friend group was falling apart. She told me that you were hanging out with Louis too much, that Jake didn't really like us anymore, and that if I didn't help Tiffany, that I'd be the worst one here because I didn't even try to put my friend group back together. I'm so sorry." I commented.

Lexi turned back to me.

"I forgive you." She replied, and I hugged her tightly.

"Thank you, Lexi, thank you thank you thank you!" I said, with tears in my eyes.

"But if you do anything bad to me again..." Lexi began, "I will make you regret it."

A/N:

No more tests!!! I can finally have time to write more now that my semester two ended today :)

Next update is HOPEFULLY this Sunday PST (Pacific Standard Time)! If I don't update on Sunday then it'll probably be sometime next week !!
