I am back on time.....i am really grateful to all my sincere readers who voted for my story and now the target is completed.....not just completed but the votes went behind 122. It came across almost 134 votes today. So now time to keep my promise 😉😉😉 I am updating the story. And i also wish to get the same love and support all the way ahead.

Kabir's pov

Reaching the office, i made my way to the office where all my staff took a notice on me. But when i turned my glance towards them they all seemed working their asses off for me.

Oh!! How dedicated employees have i hired for my work! Voiced out my inner self.

Dedicated....my foot! Its just that they seem to be at place only when i am around....on the other hand, you would find all of them goofing and entertaining themselves with some gossip shit.

So i always make sure, i make a presence once in a day almost trying to keep things at place and handles the decorum of my office.

On stepping inside my cabin, Piyush, my PA came in briefing me about today's schedule. It goes on from a meeting with the Australian delegates at 10am, then a brunch with Mr. Singh at 12pm, a discussion of an ongoing bussiness deal at 3.30pm and finishing it up with an office board meeting at 7pm.

Oh.....how can i ever forget about the special date organised by Dad to meet my to-be-wife.

So i asked Piyush to reschedule the board meeting at 5.15pm or postpone it to the next day. Soon he arranged for one at 5.15pm itself.

Time flew by with the roar and rattle of the ongoing project discussions and meetings and when i turned to my watch, it was already past 6.15pm.

Shit....i should have wrapped up by 6pm!! But i think thats okay.

Summing up on the final decisions and signing the salary consent of my employees, i moved out of the meeting room. Entering my cabin and followed by Piyush, he spoke out "Sir, Mr. Singhania had called me to  remind you of the dinner at 7pm at your home."

Giving him a curt nod, i collected my phone and Piyish came running behind me carrying some important documents which i would go home and complete.

Getting in the parking slot, i got into my BMW and switched on the engine, accelerating to a rocket speed i drove to my penthouse.

On reaching my penthouse, i had a cup of cappuccino made by Tina (maid) and after i told her that i will have dinner at Singhania Mansion, she left after cleaning the kitchen. Keeping the files on my office table, i opened my wardrobe to find in some casuals for my tonight's dinner......oh no no for today's oh-so-special-date with my soon to-be-wife.

But you said that you would reject her right on her face!! My conscience narrowed his eyes at me.

Ofcourse thats what i am going to do. No second thoughts on that. I told myself trying to be confident in keeping my words.

I got myself into a white waist hemmed t-shirt covering my well built body with a black leather ripped jacket and pairing it with with dark shaded denim jeans. I opted out for white sneaker shoes and gelled my hair to finish my look. Taking a glance at the mirror and tieing a watch on my wrist, i left to my car.

On my way to home, Sid called me and i connected his call on bluetooth while driving.

"Hey bud! On your way to meet your girl ha?" He asked.....oops teased from the other side.

"Zip up your mouth until and unless you have something really important to fuss about, Sid" I warned him, my voice lingering dangerously serious.

"Oh....common baby boii!! Now spit it out...you know that i am always by your side. So you dont have to hide things from me. So excited enough to meet your future wife?!!" He had the audacity to rile me up even after getting victimised with my raging threats.

The nerve of this moron!!!

And cherry on the cake, he called me that again.....urghhhh!

What? Teased my innerself.

Fuck off!! I roared at it.

Oh...baby boy!!! Isn't it? Further grinned my conscience at my misery.

Before i could come up with something, i heard Reh calling out from the other side yelling "Hey Sid....common you dumbass unless you want us to late and receive an earful fro....."

I couldn't hear him further as all that came out was some muffled noises. And even before i could ask Sid where they were heading to, he cut me off by saying " Okay bye buddy....." and with that the line went dead.

Hmmm.....something is really fishy!!! Warmed me my innerself.

Thinking to worry about them later, i sped off to Singhania mansion and within a drive of 20 minutes, i was infront of my home. I also see another luxurious car parked beside our other cars from which i felt that the guests must have already arrived.

Looking at my watch.....the minute hand made its strike at 7.10pm. Oops..
.......10 minutes late, but i think thats okay since it was a family dinner and nothing official. So taking a deep breath in, i trailed to the entrance of my home where i was greeted by several guards and house keeping staffs. Giving them a curt nod, i further went ahead to enter the massive living room where my dad's friend and his family was being seated.

On hearing my footsteps, all eyes snapped at my direction. Dad stood up and gave me a warm hug which i reciprocated equally warm and Shanaya ran up to me and took me into a bone crushing hug and then Dad asked me to be seated. Then i looked up to stand still in my foot as my eyes dawned down into a pair of gleaming orbs.

Fuck!! Damn....how come she is here. I mutterd to myself but i think Shanaya heard me as she was seated next to me and her lips curved into a grinny smirk.

Before i could think further, i saw Reh and Sid coming out from the one of the rooms smirking their asses off at me.

Now how on earth did they land up here?

I think you adress them as your bestfriends. And i think it is usually not something rare to find them at your home. Mocked my innerself at my stupid question.

Wow!!! Now its just perfect.....this was all which was lacking behind and now everything seems to be beyond perfect. And i am sure these two idiots would have already told Shanaya about HER as she was smiling ear to ear on witnessing the scenario in front of us.

Putting an end to all my usless thoughts....which is currently proven to be useless now, i looked back at her and that was when our eyes locked and later she looked down hiding herslef from me by her long eyelashes.

Oh Damn!!

Kia.....she was seated right infront of me.

Kiara's pov

After returning from the hospital, i came back home really tired. I was literally slouching on each of the stairs draining out all my left off energy. On seeing my condition, mom made me a cup of strong coffee which was triumphant victory in pushing away my oh-it-pains-like-hell head ache.

But i wasn't even having a single point of rememberence regarding my dinner date with the Singhania's that i was going to make a step into my bed soon after a warm shower, but mom came yelling into my room to tell me about it. Spitting out a whole bunch of colourful words to adorn the one who has discovered the oh-so-fascinating idea of "arrange marriage", i looked at my bed making a cry baby face but then reluctantly marched towards the closet to pick my outfit.

I fished out in my closet, throwing away the dresses one by one until i came across a pastel pink coloured short dress which looked chic for the date. Grabbing a pair of ring spiral earrings and a butterfly pendant, i closed up with my accessories. Then i tied my hair into a high pony tail with some baby hairs falling on my forrhead here and there making me look more pretty. And i went for white sport shoes which layered me in extreme comfort. Later, i came down with my phone and went straight into the car ignoring my dad to showcase my disinterest for this evening. He just smiled at me when he seated in the car, but i didn't budge an inch and kept up a grumpy face.

By a ride of 30 minutes, the most pain staking car ride in my entire life where i couldn't think of anything but my excuse to cancel this proposal, our car stopped infront of a huge mansion.

By huge, i mean really really huge as it seemed to be capable of accommodating even more than a 50 people in it.

But that doesn't meant that our house was too small. Our home was big enough to accomodate a large number of people but presently i think Singhania mansion was even bigger than ours.

Mom gave me a nudge on seeing me off guard, and that was when i realised that i had been drooling over the ecstasy of the mansion. Rubbing fingers over my mouth to check for any drool and on not finding something of that sort, i followed my parents who proceeded forward.

On reaching the main entrance, a lady of mid 60's welcomed us with a warm smile which we returned back cordially smiling back. Then she guided us to the living room where Mr. And Mrs. Singhania were already present discussing something. On looking at us, they both stood up and as Dad reached near, Mr. Singhania bounded him in a tight hug. And even Dad seemed so happy and excited on seeing his childhood friend. Then both the moms introduced and greeted each other. But after that, i was the prime point of attention for all of them.

That was when Dad introduced me and Mrs. Singhania complimented me saying "You look so beautiful Kiara."

Oh!!! Pretty pretty.

I smiled back at her muttering a low thank you. Then Mr. Singhania came to me saying"Hey Kia! Do you remember me?"  "I am so sorry sir, i dont remeber you that well." I said awkwardly.

"That all okay Kiara. Its not your fault. Me and yoyr dad last met almost 26 years back and you were just a kid. But now you look so pretty and adorable Kia. Also dont call me sir, call me uncle or Dad. That showcases love." He said sweetly.

"Okay uncle....." i trailed out softly and on hearing my words a crescent curved out on his lips.

Then they all started conversing about different matters edging from childhood days to the present life. I was getting all bored on hearing those lame incidents and had to fakely  plaster a smile here or there inorder to portray that i was attentively listening to their bickerings.

Running my eye balls all over the mansion, my vision stopped infront of two well built frames. Oh.....they look hot.

Wait......wait!!! How come those two men shows resemblence to Reh and Sid!!

No no no......they are not look alikes but they are actually the two guys whom i met the last night, are they for real?!!

My eyes went wide on seeing them there and it literally rolled out of its sockets on gawking at their widest smirks.

Before i could jump into conclusions, Shanaya, whom uncle introduced me a while ago as his daughter excused herself saying she had to make an urgent call and them proceeded to a room by pulling them both after her.

She returned back after some time, but Reh and Sid were still in the room. My mind was already making a lot of predictions which could turn true at any moment. But before i could move further with my thoughts, my gaze snapped towards the entrance to chance upon a greek god making his appearence into heaven.

My mouth flew hung open on witnessing the defenition of blazing hotness right before my eyes. My jaws graced mother earth and my eye balls jumped out of their pores.

What the mother fucking holy shit!!!

What is Kabir doing here???

I stood there deadpanned.
