I am back again....and that too super soon.....nowadays i am thinking that i am giving updates so frequently.....but what to do!! How can i forget about the unconditional love that all my lovely readers are showering on our story.....literally it swells my heart to see your pure selfless love....thank you guys for always being on the other end😘😘

Kiara's pov

After all the commotion in the living room settled down for my good, we all left towards the dinning room to have dinner.

As i was about to follow the others, mom caught hold of my hand and asked with pure love "Are you happy Kia?" That stroke me deep within my heart and i was so overwhelmed that i hugged her tightly......then she patted my back and broke the hug. And she cupped my face again to ask " Answer me Kia....you know that you can always share anything with me...whatever is bothering you.....just spit that out....i am always at your side darling. aren't you happy with this proposal? If so you can always tell me. We will cancel this right now."

Awwww......look at my mom.....she always finds me inside out!!

"Mom i am just so confused....i want you to hear me out...please" I trailed out my nervousness.

"Ofcourse sweetheart we would love to" Dad came from behind us startling us both. I just smiled at them.

How lucky am i to get such caring parents.

Then we three geared towards an isolated room as the maid showed us at the ground floor. Because dad had asked  uncle some time to talk about things to me....so they just excused us.

On entering the room, Dad locked the door and asked me ever so softly "Speak up sweetheart"

That was it......this was all i was waiting for!!! I began crying loudly.....frantically ever so loudly as if i was just a toddler of two!! Dad and mom rushed down to my aid and hugged me tightly soothingly caressing my back.

When i calmed down, we three broke apart and they looked on to me as if waiting to hear out my part of the story. Then taking a deep breathe, i took both of their hands in mine and asked them to sit down on the bed. Then i kneeled in front of them.....and narrated the whole story from meeting him....the hospital and police station enquiry, till the conversation we last had at his room...but i kept his mom's thing apart. After hearing me out completely they just laughed out.

"Why are you all just laughing your guts out on hearing our first meet? Is it that funny? Even uncle laughed on hearing about it. There is nothing funny in that" I whined out childishly.

Mom was the first one to break out of her laughing session and then nudged Dad to do the same. Then they came towards me and said so warmly "You know dear, even we started our relationship by giving cold shoulders to each other....even if our fights started just after our marriage but in yours the difference is that yours had begun way before that....but just look at ourselves now...arent we a huge success as a couple...thats how life is Kia....its not always necessary to have a happy begginig to move towards a happy ending. And when you told us about your first encounter with each other, we heartily laughed out because you guys just resembled us long years back....to be honest Kia ......before coming with you to this room, i was not sure of this alliance, but after hearing you out, i am damn sure that i just want Kabir as my son-in-law....nothing more nothing less. I am 100% sure that he is the best for you. "

Their words knocked some sense in me, and i smiled at them. Then they repeated their question "So i think its a yes from your side?" I nodded my head not so surely but with much more confidence than i gave to uncle before.

Maybe its just right to give it a chance.

With that we left out, and settled on the dinning table and all eyes scanned our souls......i felt weird.

But then Dad said...."Its nothing....we just had to talk with her and now its a complete yes from our side too" Thats it.....everyone was grinning ear to ear as if they were some kid of 5 years old who was given their favourite candy.

Shaking my head off them, i looked towards Kabir  who was still as cold as ice just giving a smile or two at my parents here and there but i could see his blank face after that all over again.

Think again Kia...you are saying a yes to stay with this emotionless rock for a lifetime. Jumped in my conscience as if forcing me to rethink about my decision.

Right...now just as i reach home that's the first thing i am going to do.....i thought determined to do that.

Now all i wanted was to devour all the mouth watering delicacies placed before my eyes.

The large dinning table was filled with all dishes ranging from continental to desi mumbai foods.

Yummmmmm....the food was so delicious that i had it with all my heart and soul. I am such a big foodie that i cant even stay away from food just for mere hours.

I was so busy devouring all the splendid spread on the table that i had almost  forgot all the people surrounding me.....but thank God all were focussed in their own topics that there was no one to judge my eating habits.

Running my eyes on all the people around, i found both Sid and Shanaya eating their heart out without caring a damn for the world.

Looks like Kia has got a Devar and sister in law who is going to be your partner on being great foodies. Commented my conscience on my newly found and soon to be family.

Dad and uncle were busy discussing some stupid bussiness stuff and even both the moms gelled along pretty well that they were busy explaining what should they add to their dishes to make them more delicious....oh just wow.....the world famous cooks are discussing how to make the mouth watering dishes more delicious. Are they going to kill us by making all these yummy meals. Oh no.....i am gonna be super fat super soon.

I shed some fake tears on imagining both moms feeding me more than enough and i become like a bloated sausage.

Noooooooo

Reviving myself from my any-time-happening nightmare, i glanced at Reh who was ever so softly eating his meal and was constantly chit chatting with Kabir which was incoherently so inaudible. I darted my eyes towards Kabir but he was as if not so interested in looking at me.

But i felt as if someone was continuosly  staring at me. But as soon as i looked around......it was nothing but my mere illusion.

Again i digged into my meal.....but then again i felt the same gaze piercing through my skin, yet when i turned to my side, everyone was busy in their own worlds.

Urghhhh....put some sense into that stupid mind of yours and stop with these crap hallucinations. Roared my conscience.

But stillll.....urghhh!!

Then i again felt the same...this couldn't be my imagination anymore....now i was damn sure about it and this time i snapped my head ever so frantically that i caught the thief red handed....

Hahaaa.....it was the great Kabir Singhania.

When i caught him staring at me, he turned his head again towards Reh to get off his embrassment but i wasn't going to leave this that easily that i scooted close towards his chair.

Then whispered in his ears only for him to hear "Had great fun ogling at me ......haha devil!! Look at that look on your face. Ulta chor kothvaal ko daante....you are the one who behaves like a love sick puppy behind me and you claim as if i am the one who is head over heels for you. Wow Kabir Singhania....just woww!!" I told him teasingly yet sarcastically.

Love sick puppy? Wasnt that way too much Kia? My conscience questioned my spoken set of words.

No way......it was just what was needed. I defended myself.

But then someyhing happened which was out of the blue. Kabir spoke out huskily into my ears sending a shiver down my spine "Oh darling.....if that is what you think of me, then even i dont have any objections.....now just wait and watch what this romantic love sick puppy is gonna do.....sweetheart you have gone way beyond my imaginations."

He trailed out all these words so sexily that i felt as if my heart stopped thumbing in my chest. But when he called me 'sweetheart' ......that was it....i felt an unknown peace and calmness within me which was so soothing.

But

But

But............

What he did next was the least which i had expected him to do. He caught hold of my right hand with his left under the table so that no one can see us.

Urghhh....what was he upto.

I was literally shocked with his act but when he started caressing my hand.....that was it. I started coughing loudly gaining everyone's attention.

Mom asked me "What happened Kia? Have some water....here take this" She said while handing me a glass of water. I gulped down the fluid and a relief reached my throat.....but i was still on my oh-so-shocked mode as Kabir was still carssing my hand.

Aunty patted my back asking "Are you okay Kia" and i answred by nodding to her with a smile. But Kabir seemed really pissed off as he saw aunty talking to me.

Whats with this man? Who give such cold shoulders to their own mom. Great....you are going to have a tough time managing with this devil Kia.

Then he gripped my hand firmly in his large rough ones and started drawing patterns on them......i merely suppressd a moan which was threatening to escape my mouth any soon.

Is he trying to kill me or what? Couldnt he understand the fact that his mere touch makes me go haywire.

I didnt want to embarass myself infront of my parents and soon to be in-laws, so i requested him with my eyes to leave my hand...

But he kept on holding my hands and smirked at me.

Bloody idiot.

Then having no other option left, i sat there ideally. Then uncle asked me "Kia why arent you having your Dinner child? Didnt you like the food?"  "Should i ask the chef to prepare something else for you?" Aunty added after him.

"Yeah Kia...why aren't you eating" Kabir asked so innocently as if he didnt knew why i wasnt eating.

"Oh ......Kiaaaa" Sid commented teasingly  by wiggling his eyebrows mischievously and all the elders also smiled at us. 

Arghhh....what was the need to call me Kia? I mentally scoffed.

But didnt you like it when he calls you Kia? Do tell me the truth okay?!!! Chimmed in my inner self.

Kind of.....yeah!! It felt gittery to hear him call me Kia. I confessed frankly.

But that doesn't  mean that it was because he called me so.....it was just because my nickname sounded so cute and adorable. I sassed it off at my conscience.

"Why arent you eating dear?" aunty asked me again which broke my trail of thoughts.

"Nothing aunty.....i am having it. The food is really delicious by the way." I said smilingly and started to have my food.

But this time with my left hand.....oh poor me.

I was eating with my left hand with so much difficulty that suddenly Shanaya asked "Bhabhi.....why are you eating with your left hand?"

On hearing her, all eyes raised to me questioningly and i chuckled nervously not knowing what to say.
When Shanaya called me bhabhi, i felt so gleeful but why did she came up this question?

When i was looking out for an answer, Sid jumped in by saying "Shanaya....you know na now that the love birds are offically given the licence to get cosy, we should get used to such weird situations."

Shit.....it means he had seen us. Fuck!!

Kabir immediately left my hands, and i wasted not even a second in drawing my hand back to my lap. Everyone smiled at us smugly and i couldn't do nothing else but blush out red.

Yeah.....heat crawled up my cheeks and got tinted with a spread of bright red. Even Kabir got a chance to look at my flushed face and smirked profusely saying when every one was back to eating "Look.....you look so flushed up sweetheart when around me and still you dont want to accept the fact that you are affected by our proximity"

After that he began eating without caring of anything, but i kept on cursing myself for acting so  much like a  love drenched teenager and finished my meal while doing so.

After dinner, an elegant spread of sweet delicacies piled up over the table to grace the word of 'desserts'.

There  was even a cake in the centre of the dessert table as well in which it was gracefully written 'Congratulations Kia and Kabir'

All of them cheered for us to cut the cake and we both stepped forward to cut the mouth watering piece of heaven.

Uncle gave the knife in my palms and later nudged Kabir...then he placed his large warm hands over mine and caught hold of it firmly yet so softly. That was when we shared a brief eyelock. Then we slid the knife from top to bottom carving out a piece and i took a small bit of it and extended my hand towards Kabir. He ate the cake sweetly and stood there.

Yeah.....he just stood there!!

"Now who will feed me?" i whined out like a baby and all laughed at my childishness.

Sid and Reh pushed Kabir forward and he shook off his head at my antics but i care a damn for it. I was just waiting to devour that heavenly piece of bliss. He took a piece as well and placed it near my mouth and it took me a fraction of second to swallow it down the way to my stomach....

Wow.....this is just Woooooow!!

"Yummm" I exclaimed happily. And everyone smiled at my excitement.

Later we both fed others with cake and uncle and aunty blessed me saying " Stay happy and together always..." Then aunty pulled me into  a hug and Uncle did the same to Kabir. Later uncle even hugged me but when Kabir was asked to hug aunty.....he seemed hesitant. Neverthless they hugged and the happiness i saw on aunty's face was beyond words.

Later Shanaya hugged me saying excitedly "Yeah.....i am also going to get a bhabhi....i love youuuuu"

And i replied "Love you tooo" smiling at her. I always wished for a sister and now i am going to get one.

Later Dad and mom hugged Kabir as well and then it was the turn of Sid and Reh.

Then we a bid goodbyes and left for home. Even when i was stepping out, i could see Kabir looking at me, but i just averted my gaze from him.

Later we reached home around 12.30 and i dashed to my room, slipped into my nightwear and slumped into the soft wide mattress.

Today was such a tiring day..... With that thought i drifted into the land of Shinchan and Doremon......haha my world of joy!!

This was one of the most longest chappies i had ever written. Almost 2.8K words.....also i am updating it after only 7 hours......so now give me some time.....i will update after a week or so...... Just 2 weeks......But i promise i wont go beyond that.
