"No because those are the people, I need to protect!"

"I see, so you value these filthy beasts." Heath raises his hand and ice shards start forming, that aim right at me.

"I'll shoot them right back at you!" Asta yells charging forwards. The ice shards multiply, his subordinates creating more.

"Ice and Mist Compound Magic: Endless Ice cage." After he casted his spell, a gust of wind went ahead.

"Don't forget, I'm here." Yuno says.

"Oh, right, I almost forgot."I say sheepishly.

"Heavenly Sky Magic: Sky on Water Reflection!" A large portal started to cover the villagers, it was clear from my direction, but on the outside it was a mirror that could reflect magic.

"We can't hear what they're saying, but we can look at what their doing. Noelle, right? Can you put up defenses too?" I ask her. She looks to the side.

"I can't control my magic." She replied in shame.

"Oh, well uh. Sit tight then." I shoo her off to Mimosa as she was still healing the villagers. She stands on the side when a small girl comes crying to her.They say a few things before Noelle stands up and her grimoire shines.

Nice, she has a new spell.

"Water Creation Magic: Sea Dragon's Lair! I am royalty and a Black Bull! I will protect the people of this country!" She shouts as another dome of water covers mine.

Dammit, another princess to protect.

Asta charges as his buddy stands back, Yuno and Leopold take on the subordinates, it wouldn't be difficult if it wasn't for the mist, they could accidentally hit any magic source and it could be their ally, so they're not taking any chances.

Now, I feel as hopeless as Noelle, not fighting and just on defences.

Asta hits Heath and red spurts from his lips.

"Did he get him?"Noelle exclaimed.

"No, he made ice to make Asta slip and killed his momentum, resulting in a minor attack." I explain.

God damn royals use your brain for a second please.

Asta was pushed back by an ice shard that Heath was able to manage, the ice shattered and Asta laid there.

We can't risk Mimosa to go out there with out any attack mages, Leopold and Yuno are in a tight situation and need Asta's help, but Asta's unconscious, and the guy with the shades is runny low on mana, Noelle and I are on defenses.

"Dammit! Nothing is going to work!"I scream racking my brain. Heath approaches Noelle's defense spell and freezes a spot, the ice was going to shatter.

"I'M NOT DONE YET!" Asta holds his sword and was about to swing when the ice appeared and pushed him back. Even after a few more blows, Asta is still standing.

"I'M GOING TO BECOME THE MAGIC EMPEROR TO PROTECT EVERYBODY!"Asta shouts.

That's right, we aim to become the Magic Emperor, we can't lose now! Especially now! This is my first mission!

I look at Noelle and she looks back at me.My grimoire starts shining and a new spell imprints itself onto the blank page.

A new spell?.....this could work if Asta knew what I'm planning to do, well here goes.

"Keep the defenses up, I going out there." I say to her, she nods her head as I step through her barrier.

"Heavenly Sky Magic: Shooting Stars!" Small balls of fire start to appear and shoot at Heath.

"Ice Magic: Crystal Shield." He blocks it and I smirk.

You took the bait.

Asta comes in from behind him sword at the ready and reflects the fire into them, the fire caught on their clothing. Heath tries to freeze the fire, when Asta comes in front of him with a deadly glare and slams Heath down by the shoulder with his sword.

"This time, he beat him!" Noelle shouts from inside her barrier.

"Heavenly Sky Magic: Star Galaxy! Bind!" The stars spun and binding Heath and the subordinates, releasing their magic, to reveal a battered up Yuno and Leopold. Mimosa came over and started to heal them.

"Hey your more clever than you look."Noelle says to me.An irk mark appeared on my forehead.

"And your dumber than you look you know."I snap back at her.

"Water Magic: Torrential Transport!" The binded guy slid down the hill with his magic.

"Dammit! I let one get away!"I shout in anger.

"What are you doing?! Follow through properly!" Noelle shouts from inside her barrier. Suddenly her barrier started to waver.

"You've got a long way to go! Ms. Royalty!" I tease her as everyone was soaked from her water.

"Didja see that?! I may be a peasant, but I WON!! HOW D'YA LIKE THAT!?!?!?"Asta yells loudly at Heath.He stumbles around and falls.

"Asta!" I shout in panic running over to him. I turn him over.

"Are you serious? He's asleep. Mimosa, can you come here and heal him?" I ask her, she nods and comes over. Yuno walks over too and bends down looking at him.

"He's so reckless."He states.

"Hey, just then it sounds like you cared." I say to Yuno. Yuno blushes and looks to the side before standing up.

"Who said I didn't?" He mutters walking away. I silently smile.

He hasn't been this shy since forever.It's cute.

A bird swoops down and lands on Asta.

"What's that? A swallow?"Noelle asks, it starts pecking at Asta's head making him wake up.

"OWWWWWWW!W!!W!W!HUH?! YOU'RE ONE OF THOSE uhhh...... AT THE EVENT!!!"Asta shouts waving his hand at the bird.

"You mean an anti-bird?"I say.

"YEAH!!!YOU JERK!! DID YOU COME ALL THE WAY OUT HERE TO MAKE FUN OF ME?!" Asta accuses the bird.

"Huh? What's that? A rock?"I look curiously at what was in the birds beak. Without warning Asta starts attacking it.

"HEY YOU! ISN'T THAT THE VILLAGE'S ROCK!? LEGGO YOU LITTLE!!!!"Asta shouts like he's trying to get crap out of him again.

"It was the village chief's protective charm. If you want that rock, you can have it. You're our saviors! Thank you so much!"The man who looks like the next chief says. Asta laughs.

It must feel good to be thanked for saving someone.

I smile along with him as Leopold appears beside me.

Heath wakes up, I approach him and bend down to meet his eyes.

"Hey, your awake, we're to rest up and as soon as we put this place back to shape, we gonna take you in to the Magic Knights, and your gonna pay for what you did for the rest for your lives, we're gonna make you talk and spill every single little detail. So sit tight." I say in a devilishly tone, no emotion.

"Hmm... you have quite a poker face ya know!" I state standing up.

"No. They won't."Heath mutters, magic start to build up.

Wait, he had a magic item on him!?

"Ice Magic: Ice Burial." Ice shards come our of him and his companions, I look him in the eye.

They're dull.

The ice shatter and the grimoire's fade away.

They must've sworn loyalty to someone, and that loyalty made them take their own lives than to give out.

"They self-destructed." Magna hissed.
