Two days. It has been two whole days since I've seen or kissed my wife and I feel like I might lose my shit.

I had to go on a business trip and I hate leaving her but she has her own job, it's not like I can pack her up and bring her with me.

Although I thought about it a few times.

Now two days in and I already want to go home...Unlucky for me I have two more days' worth of meetings before I can get back to Y/N.

You would think that face time would help but It just makes me miss her even more and there is also the problem of time zones. 

After this trip I decided to only go on business trips in Korea and the furthest I'll go is maybe Japan.

I am looking at my phone for the hundredth time, checking the time back in Korea. 

Waiting to see if Y/N has already woken up. 

"Mr. Kim they are waiting for us" Secretary Lee, bring me back from my thoughts.

Getting up we go into the conference room and begin this tedious meeting.

After 2 hours of discussing what to do and how this project would pan out, I finally make my way to my hotel room to take a break before I need to go into another meeting.

As I am getting in the car my phone rings, Checking the caller ID it's my mom.

I quickly take her call happy that she has finally remembered that she has a son.

Me: Eomma!

Mom: Namjoon-ah! my baby

Me: Good to see that you remember your son.

Mom: Oh shush you! I told you that your dad and I spontaneously decided to get away from everything for a while.

Mom: This destination is so nice no internet no phones just your father and I enjoying each other's company.

Me: I am glad you guys could have some time together.

Mom: It was lovely, but once we got some internet  I am shocked by the News of you cheating? What is that about son?

Me: Mom it was nothing really. Just the media being...well the media.

Me: I took Y/N on a date and the blurred her face and made it seem like I was cheating. 

I quickly explain the situation. My mom more than anyone would know the kind of vouchers the media can be.

Mom: Oh my! How did Y/N take it?

Me: She took it well and laughed it off knowing very well that it was her in the picture.

Mom: That's good. How are things going with the two of you?

I can't help but smile at her question.

Me: Things are really good. We have a lot in common and get along very well.

Mom: MHM... from the pictures of the Gala you look to be getting along more than well.

I chuckle at her remark. she is not wrong.

Me: She is a really special person. I can see why you thought she would make a perfect match for me.

Mom: I am so glad you agree son. When I learned about her, I just knew that you would be kindred spirits.

Me: How did you know about her?

I ask curiously as to how she could have known about Y/N. does she also know about her parents? The kind of people they are?

Mom: That is a story for another time. 

Mom: Your father and I will be back in a week. Once we get back we should all have dinner together. I would like to get to know my daughter-in-law a bit better.

Me: The sounds great mom. Call me when you arrive and we will make plans.

Me: Tell dad I said hi. Bye eomma.

Mom: Bye sweetie. See you in a week.

Hanging up the call I get into my hotel room and lay down to take a nap.

I set an alarm and receive 2 texts one from Jin and one from Y/N.

Jin Hyung: Joon~~ Y/N, Jhonny and I are gonna go shopping. According to Jhonny, she is missing you.

Jin Hyung: So we are going to try and keep her busy. Don't worry that Hyung will take care of her.

Me: Thanks Hyung. I miss her too. Have fun.

I can't help but smile. It is nice how my friends genuinely like her and worry about her like a sister.

I check Y/N's text, pretty much the same as Jin's.

Wife~: Jin Oppa has taken it upon himself to take me shopping. I miss you

Me: I miss you too! Have fun. After the meeting, I'll call you okay.

Wife~: Okay. Don't work too much.

I put my phone on the nightstand and drift off to sleep.

I am not sure how long I was asleep for but the bell in my hotel room wakes me up.

I groggily wake up and make my way to the door to find a very distressed Secretary Lee.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"I am so sorry to bother you sir but something has happened and I think you should see it?" She says passing me a tablet.

"What?! Is it the company?" I ask as I make my way inside the livingroom.

Secretary Lee follows me inside and explains "It is not the company sir. It's Mrs. Kim"

At her words, I immediately look at the tablet to see the most ridiculous news I have ever seen in my life!

There is a picture of Y/N and Jin Hyung walking with arms locked laughing about something with shopping bags in their hands.

I look through the article and comments and shake my head in disbelief and anger.

Photos of Mrs.Kim. The wife of Kim Namjoon, Ceo of Jam enterprised have surfaced.

The Mrs.Kim is looking extra cozy with the billionaire's best friend and celebrity Chef, Kim Seok Jin as they walk around arm in arm while shopping.

Sources have said that Mr. Kim is out of the country on business while his wife is fraternizing with his own friend.

Guess the unfaithful one in the marriage is not Mr.Kim but Mrs.Kim.

After reading all those nasty comments I feel like I might blow up.

"Have this fixed, Right now!" I say

"I already messaged public relations and they are working on taking this down and fixing this" Secretary Lee informs me.

Running a hand through my face, I sigh in annoyance.

"I don't understand why the media has it out for us?!" I say to no one in particular.

"Mr. Kim, There are nasty people out there that just want to hurt others for their own gain," Secretary Lee s says.

"What will they gain from this? Other than to piss me off" I say irritated.

"May I be honest with you sir?" Secretary Lee consciously says.

"Please," I tell her.

"I think that someone might have it out for you sir or Mrs.Kim. The spread of rumors might tarnish your perfect Image as a CEO and your wife as a Veterinarian. Their gain would be to make you both look bad while hurting your businesses. You know how Korean society can be very harsh and judgemental" she tells me.

Hearing this all makes sense but the big question is  "Who could be doing all this?" I say out loud.

"That is what needs to be investigated, Sir" She chimes in.

"Secretary Lee, Please e-mail Hoseok and have him investigate this. He is the only one I can trust with all this. Also, call my lawyer and have him see what else we can do." I  decree.

"Yes Sir," she says, and as she is about to get up her phone rings.

She takes the call listening to what is being said on the other side.

As soon as she hangs up she begins looking at something on her phone.

"Is everything alright?" I ask her.

She doesn't say anything at first before handing me her phone.

There is a new article talking about how Y/N posted on her Instagram and there was a link to her post.

I click the link and I am greeted with a picture of her Jin and Jhonny cheesin at a cafe.

Under the picture, there is a long caption.

I had no idea that hanging out with my friends on my day off was a crime or that it made me bitch let alone a golddigger. Not that it is any of your concern but my Husband who is busy overseas knows very well that I am hanging out with his best friend who is also my friend. I don't know what kind of K-dramas you are all watching but this is not one of them. You don't get to judge me and call me names without even knowing 1% of the truth. And the fact that you all have time to make up lies and criticize me and my Husband says a lot about yourself. There are WAY more important things going on in the world like Climate Change, War, Poverty, Political Elections, Human Rights, and Gender Equality. Those things are important! Not me or what I do on my day off and with whom. So please do me a favor and get a life.

After reading her post I just smile. "Ah! she is as sassy as ever"

I pass the phone back to my secretary who I am guessing is reading my wife's post.

Secretary Lee tries to suppress a smile but she fails miserably which causes me to laugh.

"Mrs. Kim is a force to be reckoned. Public relations didn't get to do anything since Mrs. Kim already did. The public seems t be divided but things have calmed down quite a lot since her post."

I just keep smiling like a fool " Is there any way we could leave either tonight or tomorrow morning?"

Secretary Lee smiles " That could be arranged, sir"

"Great, I need to see my wife as soon as possible," I tell her.

Happy 2021 to everyone. Fingers crossed things get better this year because introvert me actually wants to go out and talk to people *Gasp*
