"How's the water?" I ask Raphael, seeing him drink the water bottle I gave him as he suddenly eyed suspiciously.

"Why? You poison it?"

"No. It's a question."

"I know that."

"Then answer it."

He snapped his head back forward, drinking the rest as he looked back at me. A smile on his face as he showed off his pearly whites.

"It was refreshing. Thanks for asking and showing that you care."

I roll my eyes, glancing at Dylan as he just sat on the couch scrolling through his phone. My disappointment for him has never been this high. Arthur and I didn't even kiss until I knew him for a few weeks. Him, a day!

Not that I'd want to kiss this old freak, he gets on my nerves just by hearing his voice.

We were going to have dinner at a nice restaurant in the middle of LA. But the twins are taking longer to dress up because they heard it was "fancy".

"You should be ashamed." I hiss, seeing Raphael raise an eyebrow at me." Don't you have shame? That's our friend and you dare come into our house and do that?"

"I guess so. At least I'm still adventurous. Not settling down yet, I gotta keep it going! You can't live life following the same old rules and abiding to peoples criteria. If I did that, I'd have married all the women I had children with and God knows I wasn't settling for them."

I just stare at him like he's some foreign object, not understanding how a human being can be so careless and so rude. I guess I'm just as rude but he's just selfish. I don't think I was this bad though.

"It's not about being 'adventurous,' it's about your lack of respect for us."

"I respect my son, you...it depends. You've been very disrespectful mister," I glare at him, watching as he walked around me and I looked at him as he leaned beside me on the left side of the counter," Haven't you heard the saying to respect your elders?"

"You? I will never respect you."

"Feelings mutual. I'm so happy that we can agree on something." He smiled, chuckling as he walked away and had me boiling." Also, they say frowning adds wrinkles. You should stop because I've also heard white people don't age as well. So, be careful, mon cher." ( my dear ) He states mockingly, and I look away quickly so that I didn't try to jump on his old ass.

Rushing upstairs, I wanted to be away from something than that environment.

Going to Isabella and Ava's room, I knock on the door politely. Knowing after a couple of failed times that I need to knock when it comes to girls. Just can't barge in...I'm more used to doing what I want so it took some getting used to.

"Who is it?" I hear Isabella's questioning voice, but it was a little lower as if she was trying to sound like a man. Chuckling, I raise my voice until it sounded all screechy and gross.

"William, can I come in?" I ask, coughing since that way past my limits.

Hearing her laugh, the door opened as Isabella was in a cute little dress my mom bought her not too long ago. Walking in, she closed it as I sat on their couch that was right in front of the TV.

"Where's Ava?" I ask Isabella as she sits beside me.

"Still changing. She refuses to wear dresses because she said she doesn't like dressing like a doll."

I chuckle, shrugging as that's understandable.

"So, what brings you to our humongous room?"

"I'm bored downstairs. Your...your grandfather is not fun."

"He looks fun! I wanted to talk to him but you made Ava and me go. I was so sad." She whined, and that's when I saw Ava walk out their closet.

Seeing she was in white capris and a nice maroon colored flared shirt. The sleeves all flared out and nice black Vans that were slip-ons.

"What a cute little outfit you have on. I thought I had style. Must've gotten your style from your dad." I state, and Ava smiles as she sat on the other side of me.

"Thanks. You're...nice too."

"'Nice'? That's all I get?"

"Handsome?"

"Good." I tease, smiling as she looked off shyly." I know you two are a pair of smart twins. Now...you know your gramps down there?"

Ava giggled, nodding as she began playing with her sleeve.

"Yes. Why?"

"What do you think of him?" I question, and she narrows her eyes at me suddenly." I'm asking for my sake. I won't tell him, promise."

I suddenly see Isabella pipe up, standing as she begins playing with her curls. Watching her look off and back at me.

"I want to go first. He seems kinda odd, no, weird. Just when he came I kinda thought that he seemed like someone who'd rather look at themselves all the time than help a dog in need." She says, making me snort as I look to Ava.

"I don't really have an opinion. But I guess I agree with Isabella. He's kinda off; though, I don't know the word, I know I don't really know if I like him yet."

I nod, knowing that that was fair.

Before I can say my piece the door was being knocked on.

"It's your dad, where's William?"

"In here!"

Arthur opened the door, revealing him in a crisp olive green suit that complimented his brown skin. A tight white shirt and slick chestnut brown shoes.

"How..." I stand, walking to him as my head rested on his shoulder. Feeling his arm wrap around my waist." You look very sexy." I whisper, and he squeezes my waist softly.

"You, even more so." He whispered, and I had to pull away before I got too excited." Now look at these two beauties!" He exclaimed, smiling as the twins smiled up at him.

"You look so nice!" Isabella exclaimed as well, and just when I thought my mood was better I heard a disgusting laugh.

All of us looking over our shoulders as Raphael smiled at all of us. Dylan beside him as I didn't know what to think of this imagery.

"You all are so picturesque. I'm wondering if I should take a picture, or close the door so you can continue." He glanced at Dylan who looked away." I'll just stare. You all are such an intriguing family."

I roll my eyes, wrapping my arm around Arthur's waist as I leaned against him.

"I'm sorry that if you joined the image it'd ruin its picturesqueness. You're just not good enough."

"Ah, was that necessary? Arthur, defend me." Raphael whined, pouting as I smirked. Because Arthur was always by side and I wasn't worried at this moment.

Seeing the way Raphael waited and Arthur just stood silently. Having him click his tongue as he looks away awkwardly.

"Let's just go." Is all he says, walking around him as he held onto my hand. The twins behind us and I was very entertained.

I know I shouldn't be talking to his father like that, but he's so rude and disrespectful... He'll get the same treatment he gave me.

As we walked, I look over my shoulder at Raphael, seeing him beside Dylan as they talked. I don't understand what his motive is, but so far, he's failed me.

Why the hell would you go for...him...?

Sighing, I shake my head as I face forward. Not caring anymore because we were having the dinner to get to know one another...sadly.

Hopefully, Arthur's father doesn't ruin it.

***Dylan***

"You know, Arthur's wife is a jerk."

I look at Raphael, watching as he had his arms folded in frustration. Understanding his frustration, I chuckle as I was kinda thankful my car was here. It was obvious if we went in their Escalade there'd be tension. The tension would be so thick, it could be cut with a knife.

"William is subconsciously mean. Don't take it to heart."

"Oh I'm not. I just don't understand why Arthur didn't defend me."

"Maybe because William is his wife? I think what he says values over everything, in Arthur's mind." I state, shaking my head at how such opposites came together like that.

The saying "opposites attract" is obviously true.

"Well, ever since I've gotten here, I've been treated with disrespect. Except by you, of course." He smirked, and I face forward as I follow Williams car.

"I have no reason to be disrespectful."

"And that's why you're mon lion." ( my lion ) He husked, and I tried my best not to get all hot and bothered. I was driving so I didn't have time to be swerving with embarrassment.

Not to mention, ever since William caught Raphael and me kissing, he's been giving me the look. Not that I can say I'm used to it, but I've seen it before. It's not old, yet it can be irritating at times.

Just to see this creepy eye on you from afar and being annoyingly inconsiderate.

"William is somewhat right for once in his life." I admit, and Raphael snorts.

"About what? I judge him overall as a person and a human being."

Excusing that comment, I shake my head as we had to stop at a light.

"About the two of us. We shouldn't have kissed...no matter what we happened to have felt."

I watch Raphael shrug, yawning as he began playing with my window and rolling it up and down.

"I don't care. You can do what you want and if you want to abide by Williams standards, you may do so. It's not like I can't just go find someone else. You're just one guy, I think I'll manage without one troublesome young adult in my life." He hissed, and I flinch as I didn't know why it sounded like he was getting defensive.

"Don't get mad at me I'm just trying to settle the peace. Your Arthur's father-."

"So what! And you're Arthur's friend, so what does that say about you as well? My sons friend kissing his father, disgraceful." He mocked, and it had a sour taste appearing in my mouth.

"Leave me alone... You instigated it."

"And you could've stopped me."

"But I didn't."

"So why are you still talking about it then? You said either way that we shouldn't be doing this so no point in talking about it any longer. I've only been here for a day and I have two dramas in the USA." He groaned, and I sneered in anger. Wondering why he was putting words in my mouth.

"Don't put words in my mouth. I never said we shouldn't do this, even though we shouldn't."

"So...you just put the words in your mouth. This is how you know I'm speaking to a child. They can't even reason with me and do correct logic." He hissed in distaste, having me look away in irritation.

I did know what I was talking about. But ever since I've been around him, I've been embarrassed and shy. Not that he makes me feel that way...it's that he slightly does and then he does way too much at different times.

"There's no reason for you to be so rude to me. I'm an adult and I won't allow you to talk to me like that."

"I don't think you heard what I said before. I don't abide by people's rules and what they want. I don't care about what you don't allow. I don't give two shits if I'm being rude to you, fuck it. So don't try to tell me what to do, you lost that opportunity."

I frown, and before I can ask a question he was shaking his head.

"No more questions, respect your elders." He growled, and I just got back into the awkward silence. Wondering how we got here in the first place...because of me. Guess he's spot on when he said I don't know how to use my logic...

***William***

When we got in the restaurant, there was this air surrounding Dylan and Raphael. But it didn't really matter to me because he was no longer flirting with him.

Rushing to Dylan, I narrowed my eyes at him to see if he'd get what I was going at.

"What William?" He asked in a angry voice. Making me frown as he looked away.

"I was just going to ask what you said to Raphael. He's not being a bitch." I whisper the last part, Dylan sighing as he looked annoyed.

"I did what was right. You said I shouldn't be doing what I did with Arthur's father, so I corrected myself and him as well. He just didn't like being told what to do."

"He's such a baby! Suck it up!" I mock in annoyance, Dylan rolling his eyes. But I didn't know why he had an attitude towards me.

I'm just helping them too because you don't want to deal with Raphael. Rather be single forever.

"I'm starving. When will the table be ready?"

I look as Raphael stood next to Arthur. Both of them leaning against the wall. It didn't seem like he had a problem with it...unless he's hiding it.

"Are you mentally retarded? The buzzer hasn't gone off so our table isn't ready." I hiss, and he glared at me. Until Dylan folded his arms and looked away.

"Don't be rude. I asked a question and I wasn't rude like you were so I expect just as much as a decent response-."

"Be patient, a few more minutes won't hurt." Dylan interrupted, Raphael sticking his nose up and away from him. But he didn't say anything after so he must've accepted that response.

Not sure why he was being such a bitch to him, because he was all over him before. Calling him mon lion. Now he can't even look at him... This is great.

"De tous mes fils, vous me ressemblez le plus." ( Of all my sons, you look most like me. ) I hear him murmur to Arthur, seeing him glance over at him. Seeing him chuckle as he was facing forward with a soft crooked smile.

"Eh bien, vous n'avez pas vieilli du tout, sauf avec le trébuchement montrant des blancs. A part ça, je prends ça comme un compliment." ( Well, you didn't age at all, except with the stumble showing whites. Besides that, I take that as a compliment. ) He responded, Raphael smiling the nicest smile I've seen from him.

Even saw Dylan looking away and his cheeks were pink.

What the hell is wrong with him today? What exactly happened in that room?

"Je veux vous parler plus tard si vous me le permettez." ( I want to talk to you alone later if you allow me to. ) Raphael asked quietly, and before Arthur could respond the buzzer went off.

Seeing the twins rush to the waiter with the buzzer, I look to Arthur. Raphael and him talking quietly as I saw Arthur smile at him happily.

Not sure of what he said, but if Arthur's smiling it must be something good. I know Arthur is usually an easy person to manipulate but after meeting me...he isn't so easy. But I guess that's kind of a good thing, yet kinda sad and pathetic on my part.

"Let me take you to your table." A waitress came up, and we all followed as we were led to an elevator. Getting on, I watched as Arthur and Raphael continued to talk.

Dylan all awkward next to me and it was unusual to see him like this. But not that I'd say that right now in front of Raphael. I don't have time for him to say anything. At least I think he's smarter than that to just admit what he's done.

"What kind of food do they make here? It looks miscellaneous...have you ever been here?" He asked Arthur, seeing him shake his head no.

"No. Today is my first day. Wanted to try something new since I'm meeting someone new." Arthur said cleverly, seeing him smirk.

"Ah. Clever one. Guess we both will enjoy new things together."

"Exactly."

I smiled, facing forward as the elevator opened. Letting me see that we were on the top floor of the restaurant as we were brought through. Being set at a nice booth that was almost in the middle of the place - not that I mind.

Sitting down, it was awkward because Dylan and happened to be sitting next to Raphael while Arthur was on the other side of me. I sat in front of them and the twins were both on individual sides.

Considering everything...it was interesting.

Arthur knew nothing of everything and so we were all just sitting here and trying to seem fine. But Raphael seemed to not want to sit next to Dylan and every time he'd move, Raphael sneer in disgust.

"So how'd William find you?" Arthur asked, and Raphael smirked as if it was something exciting.

"Well, I'm Instagram I do a lot of posting on there. When you post and have lots of followers, sometimes it's easy to be found."

"He found you on Instagram?"

"Basically. Sent me a message and at first I was skeptical until he sent a picture of you two at your wedding and you looked exactly like me. So it all went into place as a boy named Arthur was born all those years ago..." He recited, Arthur smiling as he looked off shyly.

"I saw a picture of you when you were a teenager. How did it feel to have kids at such a young age? I had kids at seventeen and I didn't know until later on because the woman took them away - not that that should be an excuse!"  He covered, shaking his head but soon smiled after." But I'm happy we both were reunited with our children. How interesting that when I'm trying to figure out how to become a father, my father comes out of nowhere..."

Raphael looks away, and I wonder if he got his feelings hurt just now.

"But that's a good thing. At first I was hesitant because of your attitude...now I am happy. Thank you for coming here to meet me. I'm now content." Arthur said happily, smiling the biggest smile I've ever seen.

Having me blush as I look away and Raphael was smiling too. Dylan and I blushing our faces off at the scene in front of us.

My husband and Dylan's...relationship with Raphael - whatever it is.

"I as well. But I do have one question... Do you accept me as your father?" Raphael asked hesitantly, and Arthur grinned.

"You'll always be my father, no matter what you do. As well as a grandfather to Ava and Isabella." He stated, having him smile again.

I was just disappointed though.

Raphael needs to tell Arthur what him and Dylan did. I'm not sure anymore if it's wrong or right but it feels very wrong.

It's obvious he's not going to say anything and it's pathetic to say the least.

"Dad, do you like seafood? It's my favorite."

I look at Arthur in shock as he just called Raphael 'dad'. Obviously it made Raphael happy because he was smiling like some kind of freak. Looking like 'It' in the sewer along the sidewalk.

"I actually favor it over any food. Sometimes I can take Chinese food, but one type of food I've never tried is Mexican."

Arthur gasped, looking at me with so much excitement it rubbed off onto me.

"I can take you to a Mexican restaurant William took me to when I was eighteen! Right William?"

I shrug, because that was the place where he went to spend the night at Nathan's. Pissing me off because I was a bitch to him over football and I didn't even pursue it.

"That place...are you sure?" I remind slightly, and he cocks his head. But was soon looking at me worriedly as he faced Raphael.

"I'm sure. That was the past. I can't get held up on every little thing that happened before this." He grabbed my finger, showing me the ring and I smiled. Kissing my cheek I heard Isabella gag and I chuckle as we pull away.

"You two are so picturesque, I'm getting sick just looking at it." Raphael hissed, and he mainly looked at me because I remember him saying it before we got here.

"Well, get up and leave if it bothers you so much." I snap, and he chuckles.

"Stop." Arthur warned the both of us, making me kiss my teeth." Besides, we all mist get along! This is a time of getting to know one another and this is the best part, no?"

We all just look at him, wondering why and how he's so optimistic. The sad thing was that he was completely clueless on the whole situation with all of us.

Not that I'd want to tell him, yet it's necessary...

Yet I won't do it now. I wouldn't do
