I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD GET kidnapped by my fake boyfriend's street racing rival, but here I am.

When I came to, the first thing I realized was that I was in a SUV. I was sitting in a seat, and I realized that I had no restraints on me.

There were two guys, sitting in front, and another guy almost half asleep sitting on my left. None of them have realized that I have woken up.

My anxiety was through the roof, but I needed to stay calm. I can't start panicking because if I do, I'll start having flashbacks and panic attacks.

"Dammit, Charles! You cheated!" The guy in the driver seat exclaimed to the other guy, bringing me out of my thoughts.

"You snooze, you lose," the other guy, Charles, replied with a giddy grin.

"That's the third time in a row! You are cheating!"

"Freddie, you are just a sore loser."

Freddie gasped,"Am not."

"Are too."

"Am not."

While they were arguing, loudly, I used this time to escape the car. I quickly opened the door, the idiots didn't even child lock the door, and I jumped out of the car. I had no idea where to go so as soon as my feet hit the ground, I took off running.

"Hey! Get back here!" Freddie yelled, chasing after me.

I continued to run, but I was so focused on them behind me that I wasn't paying attention to what was going on in front of me.

I ran straight into another person. The person didn't fall or stumble, instead, they grabbed my arm to keep me stabilized.

"Help me," I said before looking up to the person.

But my heart dropped down to my stomach when I saw Sebastian Brooks smirking down at me. His grip on my arm tightened, and I struggled against his grip.

He had two other guys with him, and Freddie and Charles finally caught up to us. They both were out of breath from chasing after me.

"Anyone care to tell me how our precious Leah escaped?" Sebastian asked, looking at the two idiots behind me. "And where is Harrison?"

"Sir...we...she," Freddie tried to explain but he was so out of breath.

"Sounds like your bodyguards need to get in better shape," I said as I continued to struggle against Sebastian's grip.

Don't show him fear. Don't show him fear.

Sebastian glanced down at me before glancing back at them.

"We didn't realize she was awake, sir," the guy that was sitting beside me explained as he came up to Sebastian.

He must have been behind Freddie and Charles when they chased after me.

"Harrison, I made sure to put you beside her so she doesn't try and escape. It's a simple task. She is less than a hundred pounds, and yet, she still escaped from you three two hundred idiots."

"Hey," we all exclaimed at the same time.

"I guess I'll make sure she gets back to the car since nobody else can do it," Sebastian said before dragging me with him.

"You should let me go, Sebastian," I suggested as we started walking back to the car.

Sebastian chuckled,"And why would I do that?"

"Because when Joshua finds me, and he will find me, he will destroy you."

"Precious, I'm not scared of your boyfriend. If anything, your boyfriend should be terrified of me."

"But he's not," I replied, knowing full well that Joshua isn't scared of anybody.

"Maybe he's not scared of my name. But he's scared of my actions," Sebastian said, before he stopped walking. He turned me to face him, and he leaned in right next to my ear.

"He's scared of what I can do to you," he whispered, making my body freeze. He smirked,"And there is just so many things I can do to you."

"Go to hell," I replied, gathering all of my courage even though I was terrified.

Sebastian winked,"With pleasure."

Then he started walking once more, dragging me with him. We didn't stop once more till we got to the car, and that's when slammed me against the car.

My head throbbed, and my back burned. I groaned in pain, and he grabbed my chin, roughly, making me look at him in the face.

"Treat that as a warning, Leah. Try anything, and that won't be nothing compared to what will happen to you," Sebastian warned as tears welled in my eyes from the pain.

Sebastian let go of my chin, and I fell against the car. He looked at his friends, and he cleared his throat.

"After I beat Joshua in the race, you can let her go, but if he beats me, you know what to do," Sebastian ordered, making them nod their heads.

Then Sebastian walked away, leaving me with the three guys. Harrison grabbed me up by the arm, and he opened the door. He shoved me into the car while Charles retrieved something from his pocket.

It was handcuffs.

"Don't touch me," I warned as Charles came closer to me.

"If you don't fight, this will go a lot easier," Harrison commented as he switched the child lock on in my door.

"Screw you," I replied, making him shake his head.

Then he grabbed my wrists so tight that I thought he would snap them. I struggled against him, kicking and thrashing. However, Charles handcuffed one hand before going through the arm rest and handcuff my other hand.

As soon as I was handcuffed, Harrison let go of me before shutting the door. I was handcuffed to the door, and there was nothing I could do.

Shit. Shit. Shit.

Well there was one other thing I could do.

"Help! Somebody help! Help!" I screamed over and over again as I started to hit the door with hands.

All three guys rushed into the vehicle, and Harrison covered my mouth from behind me. I still screamed against his hand before biting him hard.

"Fuck!" He exclaimed, instantly letting me go.

"Get her to shut the hell up!" Charles exclaimed, looking nervous.

We must be close to people thats why they want to shut me up. I continued to scream and pound on the door.

Then something was over my mouth, and I realized it was chloroform. I tried to kick Harrison, but it didn't help.

"Just breathe, Leah," Harrison said as my lungs burned for oxygen.

I finally gave in, and everything around me was growing fuzzy again.

"Freaking finally," Freddie said as everything went black.

The next time I opened my eyes, my head was pounding and my body felt like it weighed a ton. I blinked a few times, trying to regain focus.

I looked around and nobody was in the car with me. I tried to pull on the handcuffs, but it was no use.

The car door opened, and I looked to see that Harrison climbed in. The first thing I noticed was the stench of alcohol coming from him.

"Well, look at you," he slurred, looking over at me.

My heart thudded in my chest, and I looked out the window to see if anybody was around. It was dark outside with not one soul in sight.

I could Harrison saying stuff behind me, but I didn't look back at him. It wasn't until he put his hand on my upper thigh that I reacted.

"Don't touch me!" I exclaimed, trying to scurry away from him.

But there was nowhere to go.

Harrison chuckled,"Oh come on."

His hand moved up my leg, and I squirmed under his touch. Harrison didn't stop until he cupped there.

Tears welled in my eyes as he came closer to me. I struggled against the handcuffs, but they weren't budging.

"Harrison, whatever you think you are about to do, don't. Don't do this," I begged, making him grab my chin.

"I can do whatever the fuck I want," he replied as he leaned down towards my face.

As the alcohol hit my nose, my stomach turned upside down. I tried to kick Harrison, but it didn't do anything to him. Instead he grabbed my leg, and he pulled my lower body on to the seat.

My head hit the door, and the handcuffs were digging into my skin. Harrison was on top of me, and he smirked down at me.

"Help! Somebody help!" I screamed, praying that somebody would hear me.

"Shhh," he coaxed,"Nobody can hear you Leah."

"Joshua! Help! Joshua!" I continued to scream as I thrashed against Harrison.

Harrison leaned down to my face, and he said,"Aw, that's sweet. You think your boyfriend will come save you. Well sorry to tell you, but he's in the middle of a race right now so you are stuck here with me."

Tears rolled down my cheeks. I can't believe this is about to happen to me.

Joshua, please, save me.

Harrison started unbuttoning my jeans, and I closed my eyes, not wanting to see any of this.

But as soon as Harrison went to pull my jeans down, a car door opened. Then all of his weight was gone, and I heard him grunt in pain.

As soon as I opened my eyes, my door opened, pulling me with it. I braced myself for falling, but instead, somebody caught me. I looked up to see Joshua staring down at me.

"Oh my god," I said, feeling relieved that he was here.

Being in his arms felt safe and warm and happy tears rolled down my cheeks.

"Annie, baby, are you okay? Did he touch you?" Joshua asked, checking me up and down for injuries.

"Just get me out of here, please," I begged, eyeing the handcuffs that were hurting my wrists.

Joshua saw them as well as my unbuttoned jeans. He scowled, and I could feel the anger off of him.

"Xavier! Check the asshole's pockets for a key!" Joshua yelled to his best friend.

Xavier?! He's okay?

"Is Xavier okay?" I asked, worriedly.

"He's a little bruised up, but he's going to pull through," he replied just before Xavier came into view beside Joshua.

"Holy shit," Xavier said as his eyes widen.

"Did you find the key?" Joshua asked, making Xavier nod.

Xavier unlocked the handcuffs, and I fell all the way into Joshua's arms. My wrists were red and irritated, and I wrapped my arms around Joshua's neck as I buried my face into his shirt. My legs wrapped around his waist, and he rested his chin on my head.

"It's okay, baby. I got you. I promise I got you," he whispered, trying to calm me down.

My tears were soaking his shirt, but he didn't seem to care. Instead I felt him walking, but I didn't feel like looking to see where we were going.

Next thing I knew, I heard a car door open. Joshua set me in the backseat of the car. He sat beside me, and Xavier started the car.

As soon as we started driving away from this horrible place, I started to feel like a panic attack was about to happen.

So I moved from my seat to Joshua's lap. I was scared he was going to tell me to get off, but he didn't. I laid my head on his chest, and he wrapped his arms around me.

His arms made me feel safe. Nothing could change the way he makes me feel. He could kill somebody, and I would still feel safe in his arms.

Joshua is my safe haven.

He has always been there for me even when I haven't been the kindest to him. He never leaves me, and he always makes sure I'm okay. Joshua saved me tonight from Harrison without even hesitating.

I didn't realize how much he has impacted my life, but I know one thing for sure, I will never be able to live my life without Joshua in it.
