"What do you want to do today?" Nicolas asked as they both laid down in bed, their legs tangled together and their arms wrapped around each other in a tight grip.

"It's New Year's Eve, we should do something fun." Kai answered while tracing patterns on Nicolas's bare chest.

"There's this bar slash restaurant down the street and it has a very fun vibe. I think you'd like it." Nic said thoughtfully.

"Bar? We're only seventeen." Kai mumbled.

"They only ask for an ID if you're ordering something alcoholic to drink. Like I said it's also like a restaurant so people go there to eat and drink. We'll just eat. There's also some bands that play songs and there's a dance floor." Nicolas explained and Kai nodded.

"Let's go then." He smiled and Nicolas smiled back.

"Do you want to ask Rex and Julie to tag along?" He asked and Kai nodded.

"Okay I'm gonna go give Rex a call and go buy  something to eat." He said getting out of bed and then turned back around with a smirk. "Don't forget to put on some clothes."

Kai blushed and threw a pillow in his direction while he laughed.

He watched as Nicolas wore a shirt and since he was already wearing sweats he just grabbed his jacket and left the hotel room.

Kai got up and slipped on some comfy pyjama pants over his boxers and then tossed Nicolas's shirt over his head. He decided to clean the room for a bit as he waited for Nicolas to return and then he laid down back in bed and grabbed his phone to call his parents.

When his dad asked if Nicolas was going to come back with him Kai said yes. It was true that they were yet to confront Luciana but Kai didn't bother to worry about whether or not she was gonna let Nicolas go. He was going to take Nicolas with him no matter what.

He had an idea on how they could convince her to let Nicolas go back home but he would bring it up after. Right now he just wanted to enjoy being with his boyfriend in peace.

Just as he ended the call, Nicolas came back with some takeout. He dropped the food on the small coffee table in their room before taking off his jacket and then made his way to Kai.

"Hi baby." He smiled, kneeling down so he could kiss Kai softly.

"Hi." Kai whispered when Nicolas detached their lips.

"Come on let's eat. I bought some noodles." He said and Kai grinned and jumped over to the food.

They sat on the ground, near the bed and quietly ate. Both of them didn't like to eat and talk at the same time.

"When I called Rex, Julie said she wanted to come over and talk with you for a bit before we left. Do you mind? If you don't want to, it's fine." Nicolas told Kai after they were both done.

"It's okay. I don't mind." Kai said with a smile as he recalled how sweet Julie was. Both her and Rex did so much for them and Kai didn't mind making a new friend while he was here.

"Then I'll leave you guys here when she comes." Nicolas smiled ruffling his hair.

"Where will you go?" Kai pouted making Nicolas smile fondly at him.

"My mom is coming here to make sure I didn't run away, I'll attend to her then I'll hang with Rex." He said and Kai frowned.

"You'll see your mom? But.." He trailed off.

"It's okay baby, I'll be fine." Nicolas reassured wrapping him in a hug.

"Promise to call me after you see her?" Kai asked.

"Promise."

Nicolas had left when he got told that his mother arrived and he told Kai that Julie would be here in a couple of minutes. And just as he had said she showed up on time.

"Hi!" Kai smiled as he ushered her in.

"Hey." She smiled, sitting down on the bed. Her hair was tied in a high ponytail and she was wearing a purple top and denim jeans.

"How're things with Nicolas?" She asked.

"They're really good. Thank you so much for your help." Kai said and she smiled.

"It was nothing. I'm glad things are better and I hope you guys can go home safely." She said with a bright smile, despite the trace of sadness in her tone.

"It must be very tough for you guys." Kai said softly, settling down next to her.

"It is." She said sadly. "I miss him so much when he's not here."

"He misses you too." Kai told her, remembering the times he would talk about her.

"But you guys are going to university together right?" Kai asked and she brightened up.

"Yes!" She said. "I'm really excited"

"Anyways!" She suddenly exclaimed while getting up. "Do you have anything to wear tonight?"

"Uh no?" He said as she walked by the door and picked up the bag she dropped.

"I bought something for me yesterday when Rex and I went shopping and when I saw this outfit and I thought  it would look really cute on you. Of course you don't have to wear it but yeah just an option." She rambled, handing over the bag to Kai.

He hesitantly took out the times from the bag. The first thing that he grabbed was this sheer black shirt. It was very soft and flowy but when Kai held it up his eyes widened.

"Is that.. isn't that a crop top?" He chuckled nervously.

"It is." Julie grinned. "You can try it on and see if you like it?"

"Umm." Kai didn't know if he was gonna do this or not but the fact that she had actually bought this for him made him give in. The least he could do was try it on, right?

"I'll be back." He muttered and hurriedly walked towards the bathroom.

He took off Nicolas' comforting shirt and instead wore the crop top. He had to admit, it felt good to wear it. It was so soft and felt good on his skin and the sleeves were loose and when he moved his arms they kinda swooshed and it made him smile.

He turned to the mirror and his eyes widened as he looked at himself. He looked good. He ran his hands over the shirt as he tilted his head in the mirror. You could see his stomach but not too much. The fabric was a bit transparent but again not too much.

It was...a perfect fit.

Kai walked out of the bathroom, nervously tugging at his own sleeve. Julie turned to him and her face broke into a huge smile.

"You look so good!" She exclaimed.

"Thanks." He blushed.

"Sooo?" She asked with a grin. "Do you want to wear it?"

"I..I do." He nodded. He liked it, and he liked how it looked on him so why shouldn't he wear it?

"Really?" Julie screamed and he laughed and nodded.

"Yesss! I'm so glad you agreed! Nicolas is gonna lose it when he sees how good you look." She smirked and Kai's whole body flushed at the thought, but there was also excitement running through him at the thought of Nicolas seeing him.

"I have pants too!" She exclaimed and ran over to the bag. She took out a pair of black pants and gave them to Kai.

They were flare pants and also made of soft material. He again changed into them in the bathroom and then he turned around and blushed when he noticed how they hugged his bottom.

He couldn't even tug the shirt down to cover his butt. He was starting to feel unsure but he loved the outfit so much and desperately wanted to show Nicolas.

When he walked out Julie again screamed at how good he looked and managed to get rid of his worries.

She also got dressed in a pretty red dress that hugged her figure very well and then she started to wear her makeup.

Kai stared at her as she applied some eyeshadow and eyeliner on her eyes and she noticed.

"Do you want to apply some as well?" Julie asked softly and he spluttered over his words as he looked away.

"It's okay Kai. If you want I can help you and not put on a lot. And if you don't want to that's fine as well." She smiled kindly and Kai calmed down.

"Can I try? Just once?" He asked and she nodded immediately ushering him to her.

Kai felt very brave tonight but he figured tonight was his chance. He was away from home, away from the people he knew, only with Nicolas and he knew that Nicolas would never ever judge him.

He wanted to try it at least. And so he sat down and let Julie work on his face.

"Here you go!" She exclaimed and held up a mirror to him.

He smiled widely at his reflection. She had curled his lashes and applied some mascara on them and then she had dusted some dark eyeshadow on his eyelids. She only gave him some cream to put on his face and did nothing else but give him some strawberry flavoured chapstick.

"Thank you!" Kai exclaimed and she grinned.

"You look really good Kai." She smiled ruffling his hair before looking at the time.

"I'm gonna go now. Nicolas should be here any minute." She said and then grabbed her things and told him she'd see him later.

"Kai?" Nicolas called out as he walked into the empty room.

"Baby? Where are you?" He said louder and he heard something fall in the bathroom.

"Kai?" He said as he knocked on the bathroom door. "Are you in there?"

"Y-yes." He replied and Nicolas noticed his voice was shaking.

"Are you not feeling good? Do you want to stay in?" Nicolas asked with concern.

"No!" Kai yelled, startling him. "I mean I'm okay. I-I want to show you something."

"Okay?" Nicolas was extremely confused.

"Can you sit on the bed? C-close your eyes." Kai said and Nicolas obeyed.

"You can come out!" He called out and he heard the door open. He really wanted to open his eyes but didn't and did as Kai asked.

He heard footsteps get closer and closer to him until they stopped in front of him.

"Julie helped me get ready." Kai started off. "I-uh you can open your eyes now."

When Nicolas opened his eyes, they widened in complete shock as he stood up. His eyes ran over Kai stopping on his bare stomach before going back to his face.

"Is it bad? Do you not like it? S-should I change?" Kai asked hurriedly and Nicolas immediately grabbed him by the wrist, pulling him to him.

"Baby." He rasped. "You-you look so fucking stunning."

Kai's cheeks turned pink as Nicolas continued to stare at him with his dark gaze.

"You're so so beautiful." Nicolas whispered, kissing Kai's jaw.

"I wish we could stay here so I could show you how beautiful I think you look right now."  He groaned leaving more kisses.

"But with an outfit like that, there's no way you're not going out." Nicolas grinned pulling away and twirling him around.

When he saw Kai's ass another groan left him and he pulled him back so he could kiss his lips that tasted so very sweet.

"I'm gonna show you off, and then I'm gonna dance with you and then I'll kiss you at midnight in front of everyone so they can know who this beautiful person is with." He said.

"Nicolas." Kai whined, feeling overwhelmed with the amount of compliments he was getting.

"Come on, let's go before I change my mind." Nicolas said, pulling him out of the room.
