You woke up in your bed and just laid there for a while. You had no motivation to get up, but you knew you had to eventually. God, yesterday was shitty huh? You sat up and went out into the kitchen.
"Mom?" Nobody answered. You grab a smoothie from the fridge and write a note. Going for a walk. Swear it won't go like yesterday. -Y/N.

You went outside, drinking your smoothie in your sweatpants. You wanted to find the guy from yesterday. You wanted to thank him for checking on you and explain the situation. Maybe even get to know him. Nah, that's crazy. Nobody wants to know me, I'm just a wannabe hero. You couldn't help it though, getting your hopes up. You walked to the same alleyway, remembering to take mental notes of the landscape around you on the way, so you didn't get lost again.

You sat down, seeing if anyone would come. Every once in a while, you would call out, but nobody answered. After about an hour of waiting, you saw someone. It was the same person from yesterday.
"What are you doing here kid?" You paused slightly. This time instead of being nice, he sounded somewhat hostile, like he would hurt you if you didn't leave.
"I just wanted to thank you, for yesterday."

    He paused for a moment.
"Yeah, whatever. What was your name again?"

"Y/N. And you?"
He hesitated, like he wasn't sure if giving you his name was a good idea. "Dabi." You stood up.
"Nice to meet you. I guess you deserve an explanation of what happened yesterday, huh?" He nodded, so you continued.
"I was walking, but I wasn't really paying attention, kinda lost in my thoughts y'know? But anyways, I got kinda lost, and my mom couldn't find my location. That's why a police car came to pick me up." He nodded, like he understood. You waved goodbye, and as you did, you said,
"I hope I'll see you again soon!" He nodded, and pulled down the mask covering his face, giving me a a hint of a smile.

His face looked almost familiar, like you'd  seen his picture on a newspaper or something. Underneath his eyes and all below his bottom lip, was skin, clearly charred and dead. It somewhat scared you. It was stapled on, as if he had a fear it would fall off if he took the staples out. He had a triple nose piercing on the right side of his face, and a lot of ear piercings. He seemed cool to be friends with, but also something about him seemed, off. You got back home for lunch and ate a bowl of noodles, while pulling your phone out of your hoodie pocket.

You open Google and search his names. Dabi. In Japanese it meant, burial by fire. So clearly that wasn't his real name. You also saw that he was a villain, part of the League of Villains, in fact. What?! I just made conversation with a wanted criminal?! I'm supposed to be a hero, not conversing with villains! You quickly looked up something new. Dabi's real name. You were surprised. No results? That's odd. Oh well. You let the thought drift along in your head with all the others as you put on music, and go to your room, wondering what to do with yourself, since you had just gotten acquainted with a well known villain.
"What if I just joined the LOV, since I can't be a hero anyway? I'm already friends with a member." You thought aloud.
