You woke up in Dabi's gentle arms again. You blinked away the fog of sleep and sat up. Oh shit, I need to talk to Ray today. You slowly made your way out of bed to get ready.

You put on your hero suit and headed out of the bar.

(That's what the hero suit looks like. I might copy this into a digital drawing so you all can see it a little better but this is the best I have right now)

Where would Ray be right now? Probably at their house, still asleep. You began to make your way towards their house, which was fairly close to yours. Maybe I could visit mom really quickly before I do this? Yeah, that seems like a good idea. You keep walking, and stop at your mom's door.

You knock. She opens the door.
"Y/N! Why are you here?"
"I just had some business to take care of around here, so I thought I'd stop by."
"Come in! Tell me all about it, I've missed you!" She ushered you inside, and made you sit on the couch.
"So, you remember Ray?"
"Yes?"
"They did something to betray the League, so now I have to teach them a lesson so they don't do it again."
"What did they do?"
"Told our plans to destroy the heroes to the hero corporation! Now we have to completely reevaluate it, so they don't know anything!"

"Must be a lot of work, I hope you get it done soon."
"I hope so too. I should head out now, okay."
"Alright, be safe, love you!"
"Love you!" You walked out the door.

You began to sprint to Ray's house. You stepped onto the porch. You took a deep breath, and reached for the door handle. You saw your hands shaking as you placed your hand on the handle. Could I really hurt my best friend? Do I really have that ability? I guess I don't really have a choice here. A lesson must be taught, and a lesson must be learned.

You opened the door, and made your way to their bedroom. They were still sleeping, peace and relaxation covering their features. A pang of guilt gripped your chest. It doesn't matter. You told yourself again. You shook Ray awake.

"BITCH!" You said to them, "HOW COULD YOU BETRAY THE LEAGUE LIKE THAT?" The brain fog seemed to lift from their eyes.

"Ah, karma has found me now hasn't it?"
"HOW COULD YOU BETRAY ME LIKE THAT? NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO ACT LIKE EVERYTHING IS FINE! THE LEAGUE -MY FRIENDS- ARE IN DANGER BECAUSE OF YOU!"

You grabbed their shoulders and shook them, as if that would bring any sense to their mind.
"I know. I'm a hero, if I have connections with The League it's my job to tell my superiors."
"Some friend you are. YOU PROMISED FUCKER!"
"Promises mean nothing in a time of peril, it seems. Do you remember your promise, all those years ago?"

Suddenly, time reversed, and you were back in middle school. You and Ray were in your bedroom. They were crying.
"I'm so s-sorry for bothering you Y/N, but thank you for letting me come over. And thank you for helping me."
"Anytime Ray."
"Do you promise you'll always be my best friend, and that you'll always be here with me, no matter where life takes us?"
You placed your left hand on your chest, and the right in the air, like you were swearing an oath.
"I promise."

You blinked, and you were back in present day.
"WELL GUESS WHAT? YOU RUINED THAT FOR YOURSELF!"
